69: Hatred completely dissipated

The six people looked at Ai Yue's crazed appearance, and waves of coldness continuously rose from their hearts. Someone tried to play the emotional card, asking Ai Yue to let them go, but she ignored them completely.

Ai Yue walked over and squatted in front of the leader, who had remained silent the whole time. He couldn't help but shiver at her actions.

Ai Yue pulled out her military knife and patted his face with it repeatedly, saying softly, "Scared already? I haven't even done anything to you yet. Think about it... when you were slicing the flesh off someone while they were still alive, how did they feel?"

Ai Yue paused, then continued, "Remember now? You'll know how they felt in a moment. Think about it carefully."

Intimidated by Ai Yue, the man's body trembled uncontrollably. It seemed he had remembered.

"Hehe, don't be afraid. I won't start with you. How about I save you for last?" At this moment, Ai Yue spoke with a hint of instability in her mental state.

A network of bloodshot veins appeared in her eyes as she walked over to another person.

Ah, an old acquaintance. In the previous life, he was the one who had eaten the most.

Ai Yue didn't waste any more words and stabbed him in the right side of his chest, giving the blade a gentle twist. The man screamed in agony, causing the others who were tied up to shudder.

It wasn't over yet. She pulled the knife out slowly and forcefully. Before this wave of pain could pass, Ai Yue began slicing off a piece of flesh along the wound, bit by bit. Piece after piece, she finished the right side of his chest and moved to the left.

Throughout the process, Ai Yue was expressionless. The bloodshot veins in her eyes had also faded. She had originally thought she would be excited or frenzied, but now she only felt a coldness in her heart.

What kind of pervert would slice off the flesh of a living person piece by piece and even eat it raw, getting more excited with every cut? She only felt disgusted now!

The man was already in too much pain to make a sound; only the occasional twitching of his body proved he was still alive.

Ai Yue ignored him and looked at the remaining five. All five of them were trembling with fear, terrified that they would be next. Some had already wet themselves.

Suddenly, one of them could no longer bear the suspense of being sliced into a thousand pieces at any moment and screamed frantically, "Just kill me! Give me a quick death, you devil who deserves to be struck by lightning!"

"Me, struck by lightning? Before the heavens strike me down, they'll surely strike down scum like you first. I'm a devil? What a joke! How many people did you eat alive? And you call me a devil?"

Ai Yue's emotions grew more intense as she spoke, questioning them loudly.

"Regardless of what happens, whether you kill us or skin us, give us a quick death. Otherwise, we won't let you go even if we become ghosts!" Suddenly, the leader, who had been silent, stared into Ai Yue's eyes with hatred and spoke.

"Heh, stop dreaming. When you die and become ghosts, all those people you harmed will be waiting for you. And you think you won't let me go? Humph."

Ai Yue didn't want to become like them. Now that the pent-up frustration in her heart had dissipated, she didn't want to indulge herself in such perverted acts anymore.

"I'm letting you off too easy!" Ai Yue stopped listening to their nonsense and slit all their throats, one by one.

She directly chopped off the leader's head and didn't stop until she had pounded it into a pulp.

Some people died with a smile, as if a weight had been lifted. Others stared at Ai Yue with venomous eyes, wishing they could devour her... Regardless, her hatred completely dissipated at this moment.

A gentle breeze blew over Ai Yue. She stood quietly amidst the pile of corpses, watching the clouds in the sky. She watched as the wind pushed them to run freely forward, and a smile unconsciously appeared on her lips.

"Da Wang, thank you. Thank you for being by my side right now, so that I don't feel... empty inside after getting my revenge," Ai Yue whispered.

"Roar." Da Wang gently nuzzled her and looked up at the sky as well.

One person and one tiger gazed into the distance. It was unknown how much time had passed, but when night fell, Ai Yue finally snapped out of it. She gave a self-deprecating laugh, squatted down, and rubbed Da Wang's large head vigorously, causing him to let out a low growl.

Ai Yue chuckled and hugged Da Wang, then vanished into the Space.

The person and tiger washed up and had a hearty meal in the Space before coming out.
