"And you say you're not following me? Then how did you end up deep underground?" Gu Xiheng looked like he didn't believe a word she said.

"If I said I had an urgent need to find a small mound to take care of business and accidentally stepped into a hole and fell down, would you believe me?"

Gu Xiheng squinted at Ai Yue. "Do you think I'd believe that?"

Ai Yue lost her patience for explaining and didn't want to talk nonsense anymore. "Believe it or not. My conscience is clear anyway; I stumbled upon this place while looking for an exit."

Gu Xiheng frowned slightly and remained silent for a moment.

Gu Xitian also realized who the person before them was. The marauder they were riding had been provided by her. However, that vehicle was originally her brother's; it had only been sold due to a series of accidents. Cheng Siyu's expression turned slightly sour. She had never seen Gu Xiheng show such concern for another girl. For a moment, her heart was a swirl of emotions, and a hint of jealousy couldn't help but surface.

A look of helplessness appeared on Gu Xiheng's face, and he could only change the subject. "By the way, Ai Yue, let me introduce you..."

"Young General, I found it!" Yan Li suddenly shouted from over there in surprise.
