224: Chapter 224 The competition lasted two and a half days.

Immediately after.

She turned her head again and glared at Qiao Shiyu and the other two.

These three girls were also fooling around with Lin Yun; they were truly becoming more and more out of line.

Being glared at by Shen Qingqiu, the cheeks of Qiao Shiyu and the other two turned red.

They quickly lowered their heads, not daring to look her in the eye.

Like three children who had done something wrong, they looked quite adorable.

Lin Yun pretended not to see Shen Qingqiu's gaze and walked forward with a smile:

"Teacher, we are all ready. We can set off."

Shen Qingqiu shook her head helplessly and said no more.

Turning around, she led the team toward Guanyao Island.

The opening ceremony of the Hunting Competition was being held on Guanyao Island.

When they arrived at Guanyao Island, it was already a sea of people.

A total of eight hundred contestants from the eight Martial Arts University branches of the eight prefectures were lined up neatly, standing in their designated areas.

The eight teams wore different uniforms, and their Aura was high.

The members of each team were top Geniuses selected from each prefecture, and their eyes were full of fighting spirit.

The eight prefectures were:

Yunan Prefecture, Qingchuan Prefecture, Fengling County, Linshuang Prefecture, Jiangyang Prefecture, Tianshui Prefecture, Luoshui Prefecture, and Pingling Prefecture.

Among them, the team from Yunan Prefecture stood at the very front.

Each of them had a profound Aura and a proud expression, clearly determined to take first place in this competition.

The teams from Qingchuan Prefecture and Fengling County followed closely behind, and their strength was not to be underestimated.

As for the team from Tianshui Prefecture, although their past rankings were in the lower-middle range.

Today, everyone's eyes were filled with confidence.

Because Lin Yun was there.

The opening ceremony was simple yet grand.

An official from Minglu Planet took the stage to deliver a speech, announcing the official start of the Hunting Competition.

Subsequently, the rules of the competition and the point System were explained in detail:

The competition would last for two and a half days.

The core rule was hunting Yao Beasts.

Points would be calculated based on the grade and strength of the hunted Yao Beasts.

There would be prefecture rankings and individual rankings.

Ultimately, the prefecture rankings would determine the distribution of resources for each prefecture for the next ten years.

The point rules were very clear:

The minimum requirement was to hunt Second-Stage Perfection Yao Beasts; each kill would earn 1 point.

For a Third-Stage Early Stage Yao Beast, each kill would earn 30 points.

For a Third-Stage Middle Stage Yao Beast, each kill would earn 50 points.

As for Third-Stage Late Stage Yao Beasts and above, so far, no student had successfully killed one.

Therefore, there were no corresponding point rules for the time being.

In addition, the official also emphasized:

Deliberate and indiscriminate killing of Yao Beasts below Second-Stage Perfection was prohibited.

If discovered, not only would the corresponding points be deducted, but in severe cases, the participant would be disqualified.

This was because Minglu Planet was a Yao Beast breeding base specially arranged by the Empire.

The Yao Beasts on the continent were mainly used to produce various Medicinal Pills and Cultivation resources.

The Empire would determine the share ratio for Minglu Planet for the following ten years based on the total results of each Hunting Competition:

The better the performance of the participating students, the more Medicinal Pill shares Minglu Planet could retain.

The worse the performance, the fewer shares would be retained.

Afterward, each prefecture would distribute the corresponding Medicinal Pill shares according to its own ranking.

Therefore, the teams from each prefecture were in both a competitive and cooperative relationship.

Standing in the team and listening to the official's explanation, Lin Yun couldn't help but complain in his heart.

Having been Transmigrated to this high-martial world for so long, this wasn't the first time he had complained about this world "not playing by the rules."

According to the plots of the Fanqie Novels he had read on Earth.

When he was a blood-and-Qi trash at Jiang City No. 2 High School.

A group of brainless villains should have jumped out to mock and suppress him.

Then he would have his Awakening of the System, slap faces all the way, and make a counter-attack comeback.

Subsequently, every time he encountered a beautiful girl, a corresponding villain should jump out to provoke him.

Either mocking him for not being worthy of the girl, or flirting with the girl.

Then they would be severely defeated or even killed by him.

Next would be changing the map and going to a Martial Arts University.

Continuing this cycle of "slapping villains' faces and winning over girls."

But in his case, everything was different.

There were no brainless villains.

No deliberate provocations.

There wasn't even a single person who jumped out to cause trouble.

Now that the Hunting Competition had opened, Geniuses from all over Minglu Planet were gathered.

By all rights, there should be some blind villains provoking him or his wives.

But the opening ceremony was almost over, and all the teams were behaving themselves.

Everyone was focused on the competition itself; no one came to cause trouble, and certainly no one provoked him.

On the contrary.

In the teams of other prefectures, Lin Yun did see quite a few people who made his heart flutter.

Not just one, but several.

This place truly deserved to be called a gathering of the top Geniuses of Minglu Planet.

The Martial Arts Talent of these female Geniuses was at least Mystic Grade Low-Tier.

Each of them had a graceful posture and an outstanding temperament.

If their looks were a bit higher, the System's rating could easily reach mystic grade mid-tier or High Grade.

There were even a few who were high in both talent and beauty.

The System rating directly reached peak grade.

Lin Yun's eyes lit up as he watched.

What surprised him even more was.

Among the lead teachers of one of the teams.

There was a female teacher with a cold temperament and exquisite looks, on par with Shen Qingqiu.

She even had a bit more mature charm, making Lin Yun's heart race incessantly.

Another beauty worth "conquering."

While Lin Yun was complaining in his heart about the plot not following the routine.

He was also discreetly sizing up those female Geniuses and female teachers who made his heart flutter.

It didn't matter if there were no villains to provoke him.

Being able to meet so many beauties with both high talent and beauty made this Hunting Competition a worthwhile trip.

The opening ceremony ended quickly.

The official staff of Minglu Planet began to distribute competition supplies to every participating student.

There were weapons, Medicinal Pills, healing medicines...

Every single item was of the best quality.

As the staff distributed the supplies, they exhorted:

"Students, work hard, hunt more Yao Beasts, and get more points."

"Not just for your own individual ranking, but also for the honor of your prefecture."

"So that Minglu Planet can retain more Medicinal Pill shares!"

The students took the supplies one after another, their faces showing high fighting spirit as they carefully put the supplies away.

These supplies were crucial in the competition.

Especially the healing Medicinal Pills, which could save lives at critical moments.

After receiving the supplies.

Shen Qingqiu repeated the competition rules and point System in detail once more.

She emphasized the regulation prohibiting the indiscriminate killing of low-level Yao Beasts, as well as safety precautions during the competition:

"Everyone remember, the competition is important, but safety is more important."

"If you encounter a Yao Beast you can't beat, don't fight it head-on. Evacuate in time; saving your life is the priority."

"Especially Lin Yun, although you are strong, don't be too flashy. Act according to your ability."

At the end, she specifically glanced at Lin Yun, her eyes full of reminders.

She knew Lin Yun's strength was terrifying, but there were still many dangers deep within the Monster Continent.

Lin Yun nodded: "Teacher, don't worry, I know what I'm doing."

The other students also nodded one after another, taking Shen Qingqiu's reminders to heart.
