398: Chapter 398 Wedding Night, I've Waited This Day for So Long

The door to the room was pushed open again.

Ruozao followed Su Yingxue back inside.

Everyone had already found their spots.

The soft couch, the cushions, and even the floor were filled with people.

All eyes turned simultaneously toward that wall, filled with anticipation and excitement.

Lu Shan shuffled over from behind and wrapped her arms around Ruozao.

Resting her chin in the crook of her shoulder, her warm breath brushed against Ruozao's ear:

"Zaozao, are you nervous?"

Ruozao's body trembled slightly, and she whispered:

"Don't stand so close..."

Lu Shan giggled and hugged her even tighter:

"No. Tonight, I'm going to hold you while we watch."

Being held by her, Ruozao stiffened, her ears burning red, but she did not pull away.

"Shh—" Shen Youqing suddenly raised a finger, "It's starting!"

Everyone's gaze turned to the wall at the same time.

The light on the wall flowed slowly.

It was as if a pebble had been dropped into a pool of water, sending ripples spreading out in circles.

Then, the ripples faded away.

The wall became transparent.

The scene inside the bridal chamber appeared clearly before everyone's eyes.

Large red wedding candles were burning in the room, their flames flickering, bathing the entire room in a warm glow.

Red silk ribbons hung from the bed frame, the brocade quilt was embroidered with lotus flowers, and peanuts and red dates were placed on the pillows.

Everything was filled with a festive and amorous atmosphere.

Two figures dressed in wedding gowns sat upright on the edge of the bed, their faces covered by Red Bridal Veils.

Zhao Yiyi was the first to blurt out in a low voice:

"It's starting, it's starting!"

Qiao Shiyu covered her mouth on the side, her eyes filled with excitement.

Everyone held their breath, their gazes locked tightly on the two people in the bridal chamber opposite them.

The door to the bridal chamber was pushed open.

Lin Yun walked in.

He was wearing a bright red wedding outfit, his posture tall and straight, his steps steady.

After a full day of socializing, there was still a faint hint of wine on his face, but his steps were not unsteady in the slightest.

He closed the door and turned to look at the two figures on the edge of the bed, his eyes filled with a gentle smile.

Walking to the bed, Lin Yun did not rush to lift the veils.

He bent down and picked up a plate of peanuts and red dates placed at the head of the bed.

He casually picked up a red date, put it in his mouth, and chewed it slowly, his gaze fixed on the two of them.

Fei Xue's back was straight as a board.

Her hands were folded on her lap, and she remained motionless.

Feiying was not as composed.

Even through the Red Bridal Veil, one could sense her slightly tilting her head in Lin Yun's direction.

It was as if she were using her ears to track his movements.

Lin Yun finally set down the plate, walked over to Fei Xue, and gently lifted her Red Bridal Veil.

The moment the veil fell, Fei Xue's stunningly beautiful face was revealed in the candlelight.

Her eyebrows were like distant mountains, her eyes like autumn water, and her lips were slightly pursed, making her look dignified and reserved.

However, Lin Yun noticed that her eyelashes were trembling slightly.

He then walked over to Feiying and reached out to lift her veil.

Feiying's eyelashes were also trembling, but the corners of her mouth couldn't help but curl upward, as if she wanted to laugh but was trying desperately to hold it in.

Seeing her like this, Lin Yun found it amusing:

"If you want to laugh, then laugh."

Feiying finally couldn't help it and let out a chuckle:

"You... what are you looking at? Hurry up and get started!"

Fei Xue coughed softly on the side:

"Feiying, behave yourself."

"I won't." Feiying said righteously, "I have waited so long for this day."

Fei Xue's face turned bright red, and she muttered something under her breath, her voice too low for anyone in the next room to hear.

...

In the next room, everyone was already laughing and swaying.

"Feiying is so funny!"

"Why is she even more impatient than her husband!"

"Look, look! Husband is starting to pick up the wine cups!"

Everyone held their breath again, their eyes fixed on the bridal chamber.

Lin Yun picked up the two wine cups from the tray and handed them to Fei Xue and Feiying, one on the left and one on the right:

"Exchange the wedding wine."

The two took the cups, crossed their arms, and drank it all in one gulp.

As the warm wine went down their throats, a faint blush appeared around Fei Xue's eyes and brows.

Feiying set down her cup, her ears already completely red.

Then Lin Yun sat down between them.

He reached out, holding Fei Xue's hand with his left and Feiying's hand with his right.

Both of their hands were trembling.

Lin Yun whispered something.

The voice was too soft, and they couldn't hear it clearly in the next room.

But Fei Xue's face turned even redder, while Feiying leaned her head into his shoulder.

Fei Xue took the initiative to turn her head, looking into Lin Yun's eyes, and spoke softly:

"Husband..."

When she said those two words, her voice carried a tenderness she didn't even realize.

Lin Yun lowered his head and kissed her.

Fei Xue's eyelashes fluttered violently, her fingers gripping his sleeve as she clumsily responded.

In the next room, Yun Shu covered her mouth in excitement, almost screaming out loud.

Lu Shan hugged the Ruozao in her arms tighter, and Ruozao's whole body was taut like a bowstring.

When Lin Yun kissed Feiying, Feiying was even more proactive than him.

Her body leaned forward slightly, as if she had been waiting for too, too long.

...

In the next room, Ruozao's face was burning hot, but she couldn't tear her eyes away.

She thought of those previous nights.

She had been in the side room, watching Lin Yun kissing, hugging, and lifting others.

Back then, she was just a spectator.

But tonight was different; she knew that in two days, she would become one of those people.

Those images, those sounds, those scents.

They had changed from "someone else's business" to "something she was about to experience."

Her heart was beating ridiculously fast, and her breathing became rapid.

Lu Shan sensed her change and laughed softly in her ear:

"Zaozao, don't be nervous. The day after tomorrow, you will be able to be like this too."

Ruozao trembled all over at her words, the red on her neck instantly spreading down to her collarbone.

"You... stop it..." Ruozao's voice was as thin as a mosquito's hum, "I, I know..."

Lu Shan smiled like a little fox that had stolen a chicken, hugging her even tighter.

...

In the bridal chamber, the candlelight flickered, and the large red wedding candles were burning brightly.

Although Fei Xue and Feiying were exceptionally talented and possessed profound cultivation, they were ultimately complete novices in such matters.

Lin Yun was extremely gentle, guiding them step by step, as if treating them like the most precious treasures.

Fei Xue's face was burning like fire the whole time, biting her lip, almost biting through it.

Feiying was much bolder than her; although inexperienced, she was passionate.

She tried hard to recall and imitate the scenes she had seen in the side room before, clumsy yet earnest.

In the next room, everyone watched with great interest.

"Look at that move by Feiying!"

"She's learning pretty fast!"

"Why is Fei Xue still so shy, even though she's watched for so many nights!"

"It's her first time, can it be the same?"

"Hahahaha, Feiying went all soft after just one kiss from Husband!"

The low laughter and chatter intertwined, and the atmosphere in the room was lively and heated.

Lin Yun pulled Fei Xue into his arms and pulled her red wedding gown down to her shoulders.

The candlelight fell on her fair skin, making that blush look especially alluring.

Fei Xue buried her face in his chest and muffled:

"Don't look at me..."

Lin Yun chuckled:

"You look so beautiful, how could I not look."

Fei Xue's body trembled slightly.

Then he turned to look at Feiying, who was wide-eyed on the side.

She was looking at her sister with a serious expression, as if she were studying diligently.

Lin Yun reached out and pulled her over too:

"Don't think you can run either."

Feiying "hmphed" and raised her head:

"I, I'm not afraid!"

But even though she said she wasn't afraid, she had already gone soft.

In the next room, Ruozao was completely stunned.

Her gaze followed every one of Lin Yun's movements, and in her mind, she couldn't help but imagine that in two days, it would be her sitting on the edge of the bed having her veil lifted.

That image made her whole body burn, and her fingertips were trembling slightly.

Lu Shan hugged her tighter and laughed softly in her ear:

"Zaozao, your face is so red."

Ruozao was so embarrassed by her words that she whispered a retort:

"Aren't you the same!"

Lu Shan giggled:

"That's why I didn't say I was calm."

The two whispered and bickered, but their eyes never left the wall opposite them for even a second.
