284: Chapter 284 The Inner World, Emerging from the Shell

For Human Race Martial Artists, the barriers between Realms are clear and distinct:

The Third-Order condenses a Martial Dao Golden Core.

The Fourth-Order manifests Divine Thought.

The Fifth-Order transforms the Martial Dao Golden Core into an Elemental Golden Core.

The Sixth-Order possesses an Elemental Domain.

Only when the Elemental Domain is completely integrated into the Golden Core can it condense into a domain-world, allowing one to step into the Seventh-Order.

Truly possessing one's own Internal World.

In other words, according to the normal rules of martial arts, only a Seventh-Order powerhouse can open an Internal World.

But the Diyang Giant Beast before him, while still curled up inside its giant egg and not yet having hatched, had already pre-nurtured a complete fire-attribute Internal World.

Such talent had long since transcended the conventional logic of martial arts.

Although this world was still very small, although it was only a world of fire, and although there was still a gap between it and the Elemental World of a Seventh-Order Martial Artist, it was indeed a world.

A living, truly existing, and continuously growing world.

The insights of the Diyang Giant Beast were synchronized to Lin Yun's main body.

Two bodies, one Soul, one consciousness.

Everything the Diyang Giant Beast felt, Lin Yun's main body could also feel.

The flickering of the flames, the rising temperature, the expansion of the world—every minute change was within his perception.

As Lin Yun experienced these insights, his mind suddenly cleared.

If his main body took the path of the fire element, he could now go all the way to the Seventh-Order without any Bottleneck in between.

The comprehension of fire, the control over fire, and the application of fire—he already possessed them all.

The Diyang Giant Beast was born with an affinity for the fire element, and this affinity was transmitted to his main body through their Soul link.

Not only that, but in addition to its innate affinity for fire, the Diyang Giant Beast was also attuned to the Space Element.

Fire is a Basic Element.

Space is a higher-order element.

Yet the Diyang Giant Beast was naturally attuned to both elements at once.

The Space Element that Lin Yun had been longing for was now directly perceptible.

It wasn't a vague feeling, but a clear perception.

He could feel the existence of space, its flow, and its fluctuations.

It was like water, like wind—omnipresent and eternal.

Lin Yun was a bit dazed.

It could even work like this?

He had originally given up on using higher-order elements like space and time to Breakthrough to the Fifth-Order.

Because these two elements could usually only be sensed at the Eighth-Order.

After a Seventh-Order Martial Artist's Golden Core becomes an Elemental World, they need to add other elements into that world.

If it's one of the Five Elements, such as a fire element world, one needs to add the other four: metal, wood, water, and earth.

Only when the Five Elements Fusion occurs and the Space Element is born can one Breakthrough to the Eighth-Order.

The same applies to the Time Element.

The Fusion of the Five Elements—wind, lightning, ice, light, and dark—gives birth to the Time Element, allowing a Breakthrough to the Eighth-Order.

Space and time, the two great higher-order elements, require the Eighth-Order to comprehend.

Unless one has a special Physique with an innate affinity, only then can they use these two elements to Breakthrough to an Elemental Golden Core at the Fifth-Order.

Lin Yun had previously wanted to try it on a whim because he had the System, intending to waste a few years attempting to comprehend it.

He hadn't actually harbored much hope; he was just giving it a try.

But now, hope had appeared.

He could already sense the Space Element.

Although the perception from his main body was vague, indistinct, and intermittent, it truly existed.

It wasn't an illusion or a hallucination; he could really feel it.

When Lin Yun used the Diyang Giant Beast to sense the Space Element,

The clarity instantly increased dozens of times.

Those vague perceptions became clear, those looming fluctuations became stable, and those intermittent connections became solid.

The Space Element was like a transparent membrane, enveloping everything and permeating everything.

It was the framework of the world, the container of all things.

Lin Yun was so excited he was speechless.

He really could use the Space Element to Breakthrough to the Fifth-Order.

But there was no rush now.

The Diyang Giant Beast hadn't even hatched yet.

He would wait until it hatched and stabilized, then take things slowly.

No rush, no rush.

Inside the giant egg, Lin Yun wanted to stretch his body.

He had been curled up inside the eggshell for far too long.

Since the Possession, three months had already passed.

For three months, he had been curled up, his body hunched, never once stretching.

His limbs, tail, and wings were all tucked together like a curled shrimp.

Now, he wanted to come out, to break the shell, and to experience the world outside.

He exerted force to stretch his limbs, trying to burst the shell.

The eggshell didn't budge.

He exerted force again, but it still didn't move.

The texture of the eggshell was incredibly hard, containing the foundation of an ancient Bloodline; he actually couldn't break it open for a moment just by the force of stretching his body.

Since his body was constantly hunched, his limbs couldn't find the leverage to strike the shell; the only parts he could use for leverage were his head, wings, and thick giant tail.

After several attempts, Lin Yun found that the impact from his head was the most fierce and solid.

Without further hesitation, he focused his mind, circulated his Bloodline Power, and slammed his massive head fiercely against the inner wall of the shell.

Once, twice, thrice...

Dull booms echoed continuously inside the egg, and fine cracks gradually appeared on the hard shell.

The eggshell had cracked.

The first crack appeared at the point of impact—very thin and shallow, like a strand of hair.

Lin Yun continued to strike, and the crack grew wider and longer.

More and more cracks appeared on the shell, spreading in all directions like a spiderweb.

The glow of the eggshell began to dim, and the red patterns on the surface started to break.

Lin Yun pressed his head against the cracked area and pushed outward with force.

His head came out.

Then his neck, followed by his body, wings, and tail.

A giant red beast appeared in the lava.

It was a hundred meters long, its entire body covered in red scales that shimmered with a faint light.

Its limbs were thick, its claws sharp, and its nails curved like scimitars.

Its tail was very long—longer than its body—and ended in sharp bone spikes like a keen sword.

Its wings were massive, wider than its body when unfurled, their membranes flapping gently in the lava.

Its head was large with a long snout, resembling both a crocodile and a Dragon.

Its eyes were red with vertical slits for pupils that flashed with golden light.

A majestic pressure radiated from it, a tangible sense of oppression spreading in all directions.

The lava receded around it, not daring to draw near.

Space distorted around it, and light bent in its presence.

Dozens of kilometers away, Wang Tianming and the Soul Ant prostrated themselves on the ground.

It wasn't that they wanted to prostrate; their bodies had reacted involuntarily.

That pressure was too strong—so strong that their physical instincts chose submission.

Wang Tianming's forehead was pressed against the ground, his whole body trembling.

He was a Fifth-Order Perfection Martial Artist, a top-tier existence in the Qilin Kingdom, but in the face of this pressure, he felt like an ant.

The Soul Ant also lay flat on the ground, all six legs bent and its head lowered, not daring to look up.

Lin Yun paid them no mind.

He stretched his body, feeling every joint, every muscle, and every scale.

He was very satisfied.

Then, he turned his head to look at the eggshell.
