86: Chapter 86 Handing it over to the state

"This... this is not just a Cultivation Technique?"

"This is clearly an inexhaustible mountain of gold!"

"The annual copyright royalty income would likely easily exceed the total annual profit of all the Lin Family's industries!"

"Hahaha!"

Lin Yun was so excited he couldn't control himself; he grabbed Su Yingxue, who was beside him, and pulled her tightly into his arms.

He planted several heavy kisses on her delicate cheeks.

"Yingxue! My good wife! You truly are my lucky star! No, you are my God of Wealth!"

Su Yingxue was bewildered by his kissing, but seeing him so happy, she also started to smile:

"Husband, what good news have you thought of? Why are you so happy?"

"A tremendous piece of good news!"

Lin Yun released her, his eyes flashing with excitement, and immediately gathered all his wives to explain his idea in detail.

After hearing Lin Yun's plan, the women were stunned, then erupted with immense surprise and excitement.

"Heavens! If it's really as you say, Husband, then won't we never have to worry about money again?!" Chen Yuwei's eyes were wide open.

"Not just worry-free! We could practically Cultivate while lying on a pile of money!" Zhao Qingyue also couldn't hide her excitement.

"Husband's master... the Cultivation Technique he gave is too amazing!" Lin Qianxi covered her mouth, her eyes full of admiration.

Shen Youqing smiled gently: "This is great. Husband can Cultivate with peace of mind, and we can provide the best conditions for the babies."

Wu Qingya was calmer: "However, this Cultivation Technique was taught by Husband's master after all. Is it really okay for us to hand it over to the official authorities like this? Will there be..."

After the excitement, Su Yingxue also voiced the same concern, looking at Lin Yun: "Yes, Husband, this 'Five Hearts Toward Heaven Method' was given to you by your mysterious master. Is it really okay for us to take it out and exchange it for money without permission? Will Master be unhappy?"

Lin Yun waved his hand dismissively, full of confidence: "Of course it's okay!"

"What kind of existence is my master? He is a peerless powerhouse capable of crossing the starry sky with his Physical Body!"

"A mere Yellow-grade Cultivation Technique is probably no different from a stone on the side of the road to him."

"Besides, since Master gave it to me, it's for me to use."

"Being able to promote it, benefit more Martial Artists, and solve our practical problems... Master might even praise me for being clever if he knew!"

He once again skillfully trotted out his "cheap master" as a shield.

Anyway, he couldn't talk about the System, and this fictional, incredibly powerful master was the best source for an explanation.

"Crossing the starry sky with his Physical Body?!"

The women all gasped in unison, their eyes filled with shock and longing.

What kind of great power must that be? Exploding stars? Perhaps it's really possible!

Seeing that he had successfully changed the subject, Lin Yun struck while the iron was hot: "However, for the sake of caution, let's ask Sister Wen Yan for her opinion first. She knows more about the official authorities and higher-level matters than we do."

The group immediately went to find Wen Yan, who was cultivating in her small building.

They listened to Lin Yun's idea and concerns, mainly regarding the source of the Cultivation Technique and the safety of handing it over.

Wen Yan pondered for a moment, thought carefully, and then nodded affirmatively: "The grade and value of the 'Five Hearts Toward Heaven Method' are beyond doubt."

"Handing it over to the Empire's official authorities in exchange for rewards and royalties is a common way for many powerful Martial Artists or ancient Families to handle non-core Legacies. It is very standard practice."

She paused and continued her analysis: "As for safety, there's no need to worry."

"First, you are only handing over a Yellow-grade Cultivation Technique. Although it is top-tier, it is not enough to arouse the covetousness of those true giants."

"Second, the Empire's official authorities have extremely strict protection for intellectual property rights; this is the foundation of maintaining their rule and attracting talent."

"Finally."

She glanced at Lin Yun, then at the several wives behind him with extraordinary auras, the corners of her mouth curling slightly.

"Given your and the Lin Family's current strength, potential, and... your 'special' Family situation."

"Slightly revealing a bit of 'background', such as that master of yours who can give away such a Cultivation Technique, can actually make some small-time villains think twice."

"On this planet, the strongest are only at the Fourth Rank. I am currently at the Third Rank, which counts as an expert in one region. Protecting you and this income is more than enough."

With Wen Yan's affirmation, Lin Yun was completely relieved.

He did not hesitate anymore and immediately logged into the official website of the Imperial Martial Arts Resources Management Bureau, finding the "Cultivation Technique Submission and Contribution" channel.

Following the requirements, he filled in the details for the 'Five Hearts Toward Heaven Method', including its name, grade, characteristics, and cultivation requirements.

And uploaded the complete content of the Cultivation Technique.

The entire process required a preliminary official review, estimated to take a few hours.

Lin Yun and his wives waited with anticipation and a little trepidation.

Three hours later.

"Ding-dong!"

The Advanced communicator on Lin Yun's wrist emitted a crisp notification sound; it was a notice of a large fund change in his bank account.

He hurriedly clicked to view it.

[Imperial Central Bank Notification: Your account ending in XXXX has received a transfer of 1,000,000,000.00 Yuan (One Billion Yuan exactly). Transferor: Imperial Martial Arts Resources Management Bureau (Cultivation Technique Contribution Reward). Current balance...]

"It worked!"

Lin Yun couldn't help but exclaim in a low voice, his face filled with wild joy.

One billion!

A one-time reward of one billion!

This was even more than he had expected!

He immediately refreshed the personal page on the official website and sure enough, saw a new status:

[The Cultivation Technique 'Five Hearts Toward Heaven Method' (Yellow-grade Top-tier · Channeling Formula) you contributed has passed the preliminary review and has been officially included in the Imperial Martial Arts Basic Resource Library (Yellow-grade section).]

[Contributor: Lin Yun (ID: ...).]

[Subsequent sales royalty agreement has been generated; please review and confirm in a timely manner.]

[Current estimated rating: A+ (Extremely High Potential).]

The Cultivation Technique was added to the library!

As long as he confirmed that electronic royalty agreement, the continuous flow of copyright income would be automatically deposited into his account quarterly or annually!

"That's great!"

Su Yingxue and the others also gathered around; seeing the information on the screen, everyone beamed with joy.

This sudden windfall not only completely solved their financial dilemma upon first arriving at the Prefecture City.

But it also meant that a stable, vast, and infinitely promising path of gold had already unfolded before them!

Lin Yun looked at the one billion added to his account, then at the "A+ (Extremely High Potential)" rating on the official website, feeling that his future was bright.

The trip to the Prefecture City seemed to be not just as simple as seeking education...

Perhaps, it was also the starting point for him to truly begin accumulating capital and levering open a larger world.

"Wives,"

Lin Yun turned around, looking at their flower-like smiling faces, and a sense of pride surged within him.

"Get ready, we will be leaving soon, to the Prefecture City, to the Martial Arts University! There, a broader world will be waiting for us!"

The wives responded in unison, their eyes filled with longing and confidence for the future.

With this "Midas touch" Cultivation Technique income as a foundation, they had no more trepidation about the coming new life, only full anticipation.
