24: Chapter 24 introduces the two women; Wen Yan is unusually ruthless today, using eighteen times the force of gravity.

After breakfast, the two set off for the Lin family residence.

When they arrived at the Training Room, it was exactly nine o'clock.

Pushing open the door, the sounds of intense fighting drifted from inside.

In the center of the combat zone, two figures were exchanging blows rapidly.

One of them was Su Yingxue; her movement technique was agile, and her Phantom Steps had already reached a considerable level of proficiency, leaving faint afterimages on the field.

The other figure was Wen Yan. She simply stood there, easily neutralizing any attack Su Yingxue launched from any direction.

Shen Youqing's gaze was immediately captivated.

This was the first time she had seen an intense battle between Martial Artists with her own eyes; the exquisite movement techniques and powerful Aura left her deeply shaken.

Lin Yun introduced her in a low voice: "That is Sister Wen Yan, a Second-Stage Perfection Martial Artist."

"The reason Yingxue and I were able to become Martial Artists so quickly is entirely due to Sister Wen Yan's careful guidance."

As he was speaking, the sparring match ended.

Wen Yan used only one finger to tap Su Yingxue's forehead.

If this were a real battle, that single finger would have already decided life and death.

"So amazing..." Shen Youqing murmured.

Su Yingxue stopped her training and ran over with a grin: "Sister Youqing is here! Sister Wen Yan, this is Teacher Shen Youqing, the one I told you about."

Shen Youqing hurriedly bowed: "Hello, Teacher Wen Yan."

Wen Yan looked her over a few times and nodded: "98 points of Blood Qi; your foundation is quite solid."

Su Yingxue playfully grabbed Wen Yan's arm: "Sister Wen Yan, please give Sister Youqing some pointers~ She's been stuck at 98 points for several months now."

Wen Yan glanced at her without speaking, but walked toward the center of the training area.

Shen Youqing followed nervously.

"Perform a set of your most proficient Cultivation Technique," Wen Yan said indifferently.

After steadying herself, Shen Youqing assumed a stance and performed a set of Basic Palm Techniques.

This was something she had learned in middle school; she had practiced it for seven years and was very proficient.

After finishing the set, she looked nervously at Wen Yan.

"The third form's center of gravity is unstable, the seventh form's exertion of power is too early, and the twelfth form's retraction is too hurried," Wen Yan pointed out concisely.

"Again."

Shen Youqing was shocked.

She had actually sensed these problems that Wen Yan pointed out herself, but she had never known how to fix them.

She performed the set again, paying special attention to the areas Wen Yan had mentioned this time.

"Improvement, but still not enough."

Wen Yan personally demonstrated the third form.

"This form is not just a simple forward palm strike; it requires sinking your center of gravity first and then rising, driving the power of your entire body. Watch closely—"

She slowly executed a palm strike; it looked simple, but Shen Youqing could feel the shifts in force contained within that strike.

Shen Youqing thought deeply and tried again.

This time, her movements were significantly more fluid, and the transmission of power was more complete.

"Continue," Wen Yan said.

Shen Youqing performed it over a dozen more times, and each time, Wen Yan pointed out a few minor issues.

Gradually, her palm technique became more and more refined. Although it was still the Basic Palm Techniques, its power had increased by at least twenty percent!

"That's enough," Wen Yan finally nodded.

"Your foundation is very solid; the most important thing now is to polish your Blood Qi and raise it to 100 points as soon as possible."

"Once you break through that barrier and become a Martial Artist, the power of these Combat Techniques will naturally increase."

"Thank you, Teacher Wen Yan!" Shen Youqing said excitedly.

Being able to receive personal guidance from a Second-Stage Perfection Martial Artist was something she hadn't even dared to dream of!

For the rest of the day, Su Yingxue accompanied Shen Youqing in using various equipment to polish her Blood Qi.

She patiently taught Shen Youqing how to use each piece of equipment and shared her own experiences in Cultivating.

As for Lin Yun, he was engaged in sparring training with Wen Yan.

"Today we are practicing the practical application of the Stone-Splitting Fist," Wen Yan said. "Attack with full force; don't hold back."

Lin Yun nodded and assumed his stance.

He knew that Wen Yan was very strong, so he attacked with his full strength from the start.

The rigidity and domineering nature of the Stone-Splitting Fist were displayed to the fullest by him, with every punch carrying the sound of breaking through the air.

But Wen Yan merely moved her feet casually, avoiding every attack.

Her movement technique looked simple but was actually incredibly exquisite; she always dodged at the very last moment, making Lin Yun think he was about to land a hit, only for him to miss every time.

"Too slow," Wen Yan evaluated. "You have plenty of strength, but insufficient speed. Again."

Lin Yun gritted his teeth and continued to attack.

He noticed that Wen Yan was being exceptionally ruthless today; in previous sparring sessions, it usually took about thirty minutes to knock him down.

But today, only ten minutes had passed, and he was already gasping for air, knocked to the ground and unable to move.

"If you're knocked down, get back up," Wen Yan said expressionlessly. "Go to the Gravity Chamber to recover; 18x gravity."

18x gravity! This was currently Lin Yun's limit!

Recovering in that environment was extremely efficient, but also extremely painful.

Lin Yun gritted his teeth and walked into the Gravity Chamber, circulating the Five Hearts Toward Heaven Method under 18x gravity.

Every inch of his muscles was wailing, and every cell was enduring immense pressure.

But he persisted, because he knew that only in this way could he become stronger.

When he emerged from the Gravity Chamber, he had fully recovered.

Then Wen Yan made him continue sparring...

This high-intensity training was seen by Shen Youqing.

She was shocked in her heart—so the young master of the Lin family's progress was bought with such sweat!

She consciously increased her own training intensity to her limit as well.

Sweat soaked through her training clothes, and her arms were so sore she couldn't lift them, but she gritted her teeth and persisted.

"Sister Youqing, take a break," Su Yingxue advised. "Haste makes waste."

"It's okay... I can still keep going..." Shen Youqing said, panting. "Lin Yun is so strong and still works so hard; I can't be too far behind..."

Su Yingxue looked at her determined eyes and stopped trying to persuade her, simply staying with her silently.

Because she was afraid that Shen Youqing would feel embarrassed to go to the main residence for meals, Su Yingxue arranged for both lunch and dinner to be served in the Training Room.

Auntie Liu brought a few maids to deliver a sumptuous meal, and the three of them dined in the small dining area next to the training zone.

"Eat more, Sister Youqing." Su Yingxue kept putting food on Shen Youqing's plate. "You expended a lot of energy today; you need to replenish well."

Shen Youqing looked at the table full of delicacies and was moved.

These ingredients were all very precious, especially the Yao Beast meat, which had a miraculous effect on replenishing a Martial Artist's Blood Qi.

At home, she wouldn't get to eat such good things even a few times a year.

After dinner, it was already late.

Su Yingxue spoke as usual: "Husband, please take Sister Youqing home."

Shen Youqing hurriedly refused: "No need for the trouble. Lin Yun's training intensity was so high today; he should rest early. I can just take the bus back myself."

Su Yingxue retorted proudly: "Don't worry, Sister Youqing. My husband is very strong! This bit of training is a minor issue!"

Lin Yun cooperated by releasing the pressure of a First-Stage Middle Stage Martial Artist.

The thick Blood Qi fluctuations permeated the air, causing Shen Youqing's breath to hitch.

Looking at Lin Yun himself, he was spirited and full of vitality; where was there any sign of fatigue?

Only then did Shen Youqing agree.
