106: Chapter 106 Explosive Debut

When the Green-Haired Teacher returned, she glanced at the time. It was just right, with about five minutes left.

She tossed the empty milk tea cup into the trash and looked toward the rest area.

Only one person?

She walked in and saw Li Ming sitting alone, looking at his phone.

"Trainee Li Ming?"

"What is it, teacher?"

"Where's Alert?"

"Oh, I had my other Ship Girls take her to buy daily necessities first."

"Other Ship Girls... Oh, I see."

So he was a lucky kid who had managed to 'fish up' Ship Girls.

"There are about five minutes left. Are you still planning to sit here?"

"You're right, teacher. Indeed..."

He stood up and walked toward the Construction Platform.

"Boom!"

?

Li Ming froze on the spot, exchanging a bewildered look with the equally confused teacher.

"Boom!"

The sound was coming from the Construction Platform area.

"Stay here, don't move. I'll go check."

The teacher deployed her rigging and cautiously approached the construction zone.

"Boom!"

Li Ming pulled a pistol from his pocket while simultaneously raising his left hand to check his wristband.

The internally stored resources were online, ready for construction at any moment.

"Boom!"

He followed slowly behind the teacher, who had already quickened her pace toward the Construction Platform.

"Thud!"

At that moment, a sudden anomaly occurred.

Sensing something was wrong, the teacher quickly dropped to the ground.

The exit door of the Construction Platform... flew off its frame and slammed into the opposite wall.

Dust flew everywhere instantly, mixed with gas and smoke, causing Li Ming to cough violently.

Alarms blared immediately, red lights flashing above Li Ming's head, but he still had no idea what was happening.

Was this a construction failure, or...

As the dust settled, the teacher also stood up. A new woman had appeared outside the Construction Platform.

As his vision gradually cleared, Li Ming could confirm she was equipped with rigging.

"Hey! Don't move, disarm!"

The Green-Haired Teacher immediately stood up and aimed her ship's guns, "Hurry up... Ugh!"

The woman's speed was terrifyingly fast. Her pink hair fluttered, but before Li Ming and the Green-Haired Teacher could react, she instantly flashed in front of the teacher, delivering an uppercut that sent her flying.

Then, turning her fist into a palm, she swung down and severed half of the teacher's rigging. With her other hand, she yanked her down, used her right foot to smash the other half of the rigging, and finally threw her into a corner.

The Green-Haired Teacher was unconscious, apparently knocked out...

Because only three seconds had passed in total, Li Ming hadn't processed what happened at all.

"Don't point that scrap metal at me, tch..."

The Ship Girl lady stood before him, retracting her beautiful silver rigging adorned with small squares and a single-mounted ship gun. The bow section was marked with the white number 103.

Her pink hair stopped flowing. Her similarly light pink pupils gradually shifted to a gem-like sky blue, staring directly into Li Ming's bewildered, vacant eyes.

Her expression held a hint of mockery and disdain, as if looking at some kind of trash.

"Well, if it isn't our dear Commander? Been a while. What brings you back to the military academy? Finally decided your waterlogged brain needs a refresher on military basics?"

"Uh..."

Li Ming was somewhat dazed. Of course, he recognized this one, but she wasn't even from a secondary creation...

"What? Don't remember me?" She stood right in front of Li Ming. "That's just awful, little fatty."

"Anshan... Of course, I remember..." Li Ming answered with some difficulty. "How did you..."

"'How do I exist? How did I appear here?'" She chuckled softly, the blue eyes of her combat stance growing even more dazzling. "Well, of course, I'm just a 'convenient' character designed by you and your online friends, right? In every script, I'm responsible for loving the protagonist you control~"

"Just like this time." She patted Li Ming's shoulder. "The cute little male lead once again encounters a powerful, loyal, and devoted girl."

"...It's my fault." He took a step back. It seemed people were arriving outside.

"No, no, no... Of course it's not your fault~" She pulled him back. "Who asked me to have such a wretched fate, being dragged around by you all? But you seem to have forgotten..."

"'Arrogant and calm'—that's what you all set for me." She smiled, but there wasn't a trace of warmth in her eyes. "My dear Commander, I'm back."

"Gulp..."

Hurried footsteps sounded from outside the door. "Don't move! Disarm!"

Stuart, with her rigging deployed, along with a dozen other Ship Girls, blocked the entrance. "You! Get away from him!"

"Oh~ It's you again..."

"Anshan! That's enough..."

"Are you going to speak up for them?"

"They are my teachers... Teacher Stuart! Can you please take that teacher for treatment first? Can you leave this to me?"

"But..."

Stuart looked into Anshan's eyes. She wore a slight smile, but it sent a chill down Stuart's spine.

Even though her rigging had no fuel and couldn't be powered at all.

"Little battleship, you'd better listen to him, or I can't guarantee what might happen~" Anshan said with a smile, patting Li Ming's shoulder again.

"Teacher, trust me, I can handle this." Li Ming gave a thumbs-up.

"...Be careful." Stuart gritted her teeth. Axiom was already on the way. As the strongest combatant and chief decision-maker, it was more appropriate for her to handle the situation upon arrival.

Carrying away the Green-Haired Teacher, Stuart had the Security Team seal off the surrounding area.

The alarm sounds also ceased, and the surroundings instantly fell quiet.

"It's quiet now." Anshan patted his shoulder again.

"I..."

"What, scared?"

"...To be honest, yes."

"That's just awful."

"Yeah."

"My sudden appearance makes you uncomfortable?"

"Not really..."

She sat on the Construction Platform. "So you're saying you don't welcome me?"

"Absolutely not!"

"Heh, so it's because I'm strong after all." She forcefully pulled him to sit down. Her blue eyes had, at some point, reverted to their usual pink color.

"Mmm..."

"Just kidding, I know you're not that kind of guy." She sighed. "Although I'm not actually clear on what happened—what I told you was just my deduction from some clues... But you better remember..."

"My feelings are not toys. Even if they were just settings written for a script, you better always, always remember."

"I... Of course, I'll remember."

"Feeling pressured again? Alright, my Commander, shall we go out? After all, I've caused a bit of a mess again, haven't I?"
