125: Chapter 125 Bringing the Whole Family
"Li Ming, you... did you bring your entire family?"
"Not exactly? I just thought it wouldn't be good for a child at home to miss class." Li Ming held an A6, shaking her slightly.
A6 hung limply in his arms like a fish that had lost its dreams, looking at Teacher Stuart with lifeless eyes.
"Ah, right..." Stuart recalled Li Ming's family address—all the family records were blank.
This was probably her sister?
But the tail behind her... is she from Chizuru?
What a cute child.
"Try not to be too noisy, okay?" She reached out and touched A6's hair clip.
Although A6 didn't know her, since Li Ming showed no hostility toward her, she probably wasn't someone to avoid.
So A6 just held onto her hair clip but didn't resist.
"Mm-hmm, so well-behaved." Teacher Stuart smiled. "Li Ming, put her down. Don't bully her."
"How did it become me bullying her?" Li Ming looked innocent but still set A6 down.
A6 steadied herself, then looked at Li Ming.
"Alright, let's find a place to sit." Li Ming patted her head—she showed an expression of enjoyment.
Teacher Stuart felt quite hurt.
But soon she picked up her lecture notes; she still had to teach over a thousand people and couldn't afford to waste time.
The Auditorium was noisy and chaotic. Li Ming scanned the bustling scene, trying to spot where Alert and Anshan had run off to.
A6 tugged on his sleeve and pointed in a direction, allowing Li Ming to finally find Alert, who had been waving at him.
Z23 wasn't a student, so she didn't come. A6 was only allowed to sit in as a young family member.
However, Alert and Anshan had only managed to secure one extra seat. Li Ming had to sit between the two of them, holding A6 while listening to the lecture.
Fortunately, there was no need to take notes, or it would have been quite troublesome.
Anshan naturally had no intention of listening; she took out her phone and started playing games.
After playing for a while, she felt something wasn't quite right.
Turning her head to look, wow, how long had it been?
Alert was leaning on Li Ming's shoulder, sound asleep. A6 was half-asleep, looking like she'd drift off any moment.
As for Li Ming, he seemed to be listening, but he had actually fallen asleep a while ago.
A sigh. Just look at this attitude toward class.
Although Anshan wasn't much better herself.
Forget it, I'll sleep too.
Anshan slid down the backrest, pushed aside the armrest on Li Ming's side, and leaned against him as well.
Fujian? What's Fujian? Just a white-haired loser.
Meanwhile, at Horizons Edge, Plata Port.
Fujian, who was in the middle of a conversation with the newly appointed director of the Plata Port Ship Girl Bureau, suddenly felt a chill for no apparent reason.
Let's shift our perspective back. Several hours passed, and it was time for class to end.
Li Ming woke up relatively early, but with Alert and Anshan leaning against him on either side and A6 sprawled on top of him, he couldn't move easily.
But then again, A6 was sleeping so soundly—sure enough, all teachers' lectures have a hypnotic effect, right?
Checking the time, it seemed about right. Li Ming rubbed his chin against A6's hair clip.
Her tail seemed to twitch, then she looked up at Li Ming.
"Class is almost over." Li Ming whispered, then shook himself left and right to wake up Anshan and Alert.
Following the crowd out of the Auditorium, the four soon found a relatively less crowded spot.
"The four of us are amazing. We actually slept through the entire three-hour first lecture together."
Li Ming felt a bit ashamed about sleeping in class.
Alert's gaze wandered; she had been gaming until 2 a.m. the previous night, so she fell asleep as soon as she sat down.
Anshan had no reaction; for her, such courses were meaningless.
A6 was her usual self, but her tail swayed back and forth, showing she was actually in a good mood. Clearly, she hadn't paid any attention to the teacher lecturing.
Li Ming sighed helplessly, "Let's head back... What are we doing tonight?"
"You." Anshan replied.
"Huh?" Li Ming was stunned.
Alert froze, then suddenly blushed.
"Just kidding." Anshan pulled out a cigarette pack. "I'm going for a smoke. You guys head back first."
"...Alright, remember to call me if anything comes up."
"First, turn off your phone's silent mode."
"I have vibrate on, okay."
Anshan shrugged.
Watching the three leave, she lit a cigarette and held it between her fingers.
What kind of garbage is this local tobacco?

"No, we must create a new series!"
Li Ming looked at Finn's enthusiastic expression, momentarily unsure what to say.
Stopped by these lively characters halfway home, he could only stand with A6 and Alert, watching Finn and Ronan passionately discuss without any chance to interject.
A6's face was expressionless, but she was clearly getting annoyed. Alert looked troubled, glancing at Li Ming with eyes asking what they should do.
"I'm saying, are you two done arguing here?" Li Ming rubbed his temples. "Instead of endlessly discussing here, why not talk about it tomorrow at the Club?"
Finn and Ronan looked at each other, then simultaneously wore awkward smiles.
"Oh right, Li, we came to ask if you have time tonight!" Finn finally remembered why they were there.
"What's up?" Li Ming raised an eyebrow. "Aren't you going on a date with Olena tonight?"
"Yeah! But..."
Finn suddenly grew flustered. "Well... I don't know how... I've never been on a date with a woman before..."
Li Ming frowned. Seriously, as if I have...
"So how do you expect me to help you?"
"Give me some advice, Li!" Finn leaned in, causing Li Ming to take another step back in alarm. "You have so many girls, you must have some secret, right?"
Seeing him act cute, Li Ming felt a chill, then raised his fist and thumped him on the head.
"There's no secret." Li Ming withdrew his hand. "Just treat her sincerely, understand?"
"Ugh... Li, how can you be so cruel?" Finn whimpered, putting on a pitiful look. "Are you completely unmoved by such a cute Little Hawke?"
Now it wasn't just Li Ming who felt a chill; Alert hid behind Li Ming, and A6's tail bristled. If she hadn't sensed no hostility, she would have already thrown a punch.
Ronan quickly took a few steps back to distance himself.
"Acting Sub-Lieutenant Hawke~"
Finn seemed to hear the whispers of an ancient god, his whole body stiffening as he slowly turned his head.
Olena, in casual clothes today, looked very beautiful, except her smile was still as 'nuclear' as ever.
Although it wasn't clear what happened, Finn was dragged away regardless.
Li Ming watched from afar and sighed.
