13: Thunder Fury

Lin Chuan fell into deep thought as he looked at the Experience Capsule he had received as a reward from the System.

"How do I use this thing? I can't just eat it, can I?" Lin Chuan asked the System in his mind.

After a long while with no response from the System, Lin Chuan looked again at the plastic-looking capsule in his hand and gritted his teeth, "Damn it, whatever. I'll eat it first and see!"

He gritted his teeth, tossed the capsule into his mouth, took a sip of water, and swallowed it.

After waiting for a long time, Lin Chuan blinked; he didn't feel anything at all.

"Crap, is it not meant to be eaten? What do I do now? Wait to poop it back out?" The thought made Lin Chuan feel a bit disgusted.

Unwilling to give up, Lin Chuan began to examine his body, wanting to see if there were any changes after all.

"Hmm? So fast? Someone has already reached the Thunder Ruins?" While surprised, Lin Chuan possessed the body of the lord, Lightning Kino.

He saw that the person before him was none other than the youth named A Fei. He hadn't expected that even though A Fei entered later than the others, his progress was much faster than Jian Wuxie and the rest.

A Fei was currently holding a red tachi, fighting the small monsters in front of him. His movements were as fluid as flowing water, killing one with just a few slashes; clearly, the weapon in his hand was excellent.

Lin Chuan chuckled inwardly, "Let me see how you, kid, are actually this fast!"

Controlling Lightning Kino, Lin Chuan stealthily circled behind A Fei, raising his hand to launch a sneak attack.

Unexpectedly, as if A Fei had eyes in the back of his head, he suddenly turned around and performed an Uppercut with his long blade.

Lin Chuan felt as if he were being restrained by a force, floating in mid-air, as dense sword shadows suddenly appeared around him, instantly dealing a massive amount of damage.

"Wave Split Slash? This kid is already Level 10?" Lin Chuan was startled.

As soon as Lin Chuan felt himself hit the ground, he immediately swung the curved blade in his hand, summoning a circle of falling lightning around him.

A Fei had clearly never seen a Goblin that could summon falling lightning. Caught off guard for a moment, he suffered for it.

Two bolts of lightning struck A Fei's body directly, scaring him into retreating repeatedly.

He took out a Wild Strawberry, put it in his mouth to eat, and looked at the White-skinned Goblin before him with a look of wariness.

Lin Chuan thought to himself, "This kid's reactions are indeed fast. I'll have some fun with him."

"Three-Stage Slash!" Lin Chuan naturally recognized the skill A Fei was using.

Arriving beside Lin Chuan, A Fei first used an Uppercut to knock Lin Chuan into the air, then stood in place, muttering something as he extended his hideous right hand.

A crimson magic circle appeared instantly, surrounding the two of them.

In the center of the circle was a phantom emitting an aura of evil and destruction, making Lin Chuan, who was currently A Fei's enemy, feel very uncomfortable.

"Kazans Blade Soul!" Lin Chuan silently recited the name of A Fei's skill.

What Lin Chuan didn't know was that A Fei was currently panting heavily, looking in surprise at the dissipating white light of the lord, where a brilliant pink light flew out, making it hard not to notice.

A Fei stepped forward hesitantly. Looking closely, a strange curved blade flickering with electricity lay on the ground—it was the very weapon the lord, Lightning Kino, had been holding.

The moment A Fei picked it up, everyone inside the Secret Realm heard a loud, emotionless announcement.

"Congratulations to trial-taker 'A Fei Works Very Hard Today' for obtaining the first Lord Artifact in this Secret Realm: [Thunder Rage]."

A Fei heard it himself, of course. Realizing his name was now heard by everyone in the Secret Realm, he couldn't help but blush at first, and then began to worry.
