140: Mirror room

Xiao Hongyuan cooperated with A Fei, replacing Jian Wuxie to recover his health.

Xiao Hongyuan initiated with Uppercut, launching the Red-Haired Yaksha into the air. Then, she wielded her light sword with Ghost Sword Technique, rapidly slashing at the Yakshas in mid-air.

A Fei, meanwhile, charged his Spirit Devouring Ghost Slash, ready to attack the falling Yakshas at any moment.

Seeing that A Fei's Ghost Slash was fully charged, Xiao Hongyuan immediately retracted her Ghost Sword Technique.

The Yakshas immediately fell from the sky, directly hit by the dark Sword Qi and ghost god phantom of A Fei's well-prepared Spirit Devouring Ghost Slash.

After the Ghost Slash, Xiao Hongyuan saw that the Red-Haired Yaksha was still alive, so she immediately used Army Breaker Rising Dragon Strike. A barrier of light appeared in front of her as she charged towards the Yakshas, then fiercely swung her light sword upwards.

The Red-Haired Yaksha, which had just landed and been attacked, was once again struck into the air.

Xiao Hongyuan quickly followed with a Flowing Heart Ascent, her light sword rapidly moving upwards, dealing further damage to the Yaksha in mid-air. But before it could land, Xiao Hongyuan launched an Aerial Chain Slash, and silver-white sword light descended.

The Yakshas let out a scream before they even landed, then fell to the ground motionless, clearly dead.

Xiao Hongyuan's fluid execution left Quan Wudi, who was watching from the side, dumbfounded. He exclaimed, "That's amazing! You can combo like that? That whole sequence was too smooth!"

Xiao Hongyuan chuckled softly, "Hehe, it's nothing, I was just experimenting. I didn't expect it to succeed."

The four rested for a bit in the room. A Fei curiously looked at the Red-Haired Yaksha's corpse and said, "These monsters didn't disappear after dying. This must be what Great Master G.S.D called Aislie, right?"

Jian Wuxie walked over and observed curiously, finding a bone spur on their backs that was a different color from the rest. He curiously gripped it and pulled it out, and indeed, it came out.

As the bone spur was pulled out, the Yaksha's corpse transformed into a white light and vanished.

Jian Wuxie examined the bone spur in his hand.

Divine Claw

"Indeed, it's the Divine Claw. I'll bring some back to Great Master G.S.D later," Jian Wuxie said, tossing the Materials to A Fei.

A Fei nodded and stepped forward to pull out the bone spurs from the other two.

The four continued forward. They didn't encounter any new monsters along the way, and nothing unexpected happened, except for a grey-skinned, green-furred Yaksha that could command other Yakshas to scream together, which caused them a little trouble.

The four fought their way through until they reached the last room.

What appeared in the room were gbl cultists, and among them, a Cultist dressed in black and grey caught A Fei's attention.

"It seems that's the holder of the Dark Prophecy Book!" A Fei said.

Jian Wuxie, however, looked at the monsters in the room and wondered, "Strange, why don't I see the boss?"

Xiao Hongyuan replied, "It seems we took the wrong path at the very beginning. The other path from the initial room leads to the boss."

"Never mind, this is fine too. We still need to find this Prophecy Book anyway!" Quan Wudi said, then charged forward.

These gbl cultists naturally posed no threat to the four and were quickly dealt with by their combined efforts.

A Fei picked up the dropped Dark Prophecy Book and put it in his bag, saying, "Let's go, it seems we have to go back the way we came this time."

The group returned to the initial room and entered the other door.

As soon as they entered, they all made sounds of confusion.

It turned out that the layout of this room was exactly the same as the first room they had entered on the other side.

A Fei stepped forward and smashed all the jars, and sure enough, he found the Dark Elemental Spirit behind them.

After dealing with the Dark Elemental Spirit, Jian Wuxie, not believing it, smashed another row of jars. What greeted his eyes was indeed the familiar pink little octopus.

"Strange, it's so familiar," Jian Wuxie said.

The four cleaned out this room, not rushing into the next, but discussing the identical layout of the two rooms.

"I think it's a mirror image!" Xiao Hongyuan was the first to offer her opinion.

"This temple is built entirely as a mirror image, so the layout is the same," Xiao Hongyuan analyzed.

"The room layout being the same is understandable, but the monsters are also the same?" Jian Wuxie questioned.

"There's something that can prove it," A Fei thought for a moment, then continued, "That Yaksha Hunter!"

A Fei whispered, "If we encounter that Yaksha Hunter again later, it means this place is not just simply the same layout!"

Hearing A Fei's words, everyone nodded in agreement, deciding to continue forward and see.

Since these monsters had already been killed once, the four knew their fighting styles and weaknesses, making their progress much faster than before. They arrived directly in the room where they had encountered the Yaksha Hunter.

Listening to the familiar sounds of battle coming from behind the wall, the four exchanged serious glances, all falling silent.

Xiao Hongyuan, unwilling to give up, walked around the wall and saw the Ghost Swordsman wielding a red Greatsword fighting the Yakshas, finally losing all hope.

"It seems this place is indeed strange. These monsters are also exactly the same as over there," A Fei said.

Jian Wuxie watched as the Yaksha Hunter killed the Yaksha, then looked towards their side, spoke the familiar dialogue, and was about to step forward with his sword.

But suddenly, Quan Wudi placed a hand on his shoulder from behind and said, "I'll handle this one!"

Jian Wuxie looked at Quan Wudi's expression, helplessly stepped back two paces, indicating that Quan Wudi could go ahead.

Quan Wudi charged forward quickly, then leaped with a Vajra Shatter.

Seeing Quan Wudi make his move, the Yaksha Hunter immediately met him.

Quan Wudi's Vajra Shatter landed directly, followed by a Sand Throw.

Two handfuls of sand were thrown onto the Yaksha Hunter, causing him to fall into a blinded state.

The Ground Split Wave Sword he had just unleashed went completely off target, missing Quan Wudi entirely.

Quan Wudi jogged forward, first a poison needle, causing him to fall into a poisoned state, then a Brick Attack, the brick directly hitting the Yaksha Hunter's head, causing him to fall into a stunned state again.

Quan Wudi jogged forward two steps and activated Gale Combo. First, an elbow strike hit the Yaksha Hunter, then he rapidly threw a series of punches, causing him to lose balance and seemingly about to fall to the ground.

Quan Wudi immediately followed with an Uppercut, sending the Yaksha Hunter into an airborne state.

Before the Yaksha Hunter could land, Quan Wudi suddenly extended a claw, piercing into the Yaksha Hunter's body in mid-air, and lifted him, suspending him in the air with one hand.

Catching Moon Flame activated, and an explosion suddenly erupted from the Yaksha Hunter's body, sending him flying.

Quan Wudi quickly followed up. Before he could get up, Quan Wudi suddenly dropped down, clamping the Yaksha Hunter's abdomen with his legs, and activated Tiger Subduing Overlord Fist, rapidly hammering the Yaksha Hunter's face below him.

As the final punch of the Tiger Subduing Overlord Fist cracked the ground beneath, the Yaksha Hunter transformed into a corpse and slowly disappeared.

Quan Wudi's entire sequence allowed the Yaksha Hunter to only manage one Ground Split Wave Sword, and he was taken down by Quan Wudi's combo before he could even unleash a single ordinary swing.
