74: Elementalist Dream

A Fei, having finished charging his power, unleashed a Spirit Devouring Ghost Slash. The black Sword Qi was larger than usual, striking the Ghost Swordsman squarely in the back and knocking him down.

Before the Ghost Swordsman could stand up, a phantom of Kazan suddenly flew out from A Fei's Ghost Slash, carrying A Fei along as he charged toward the fallen Ghost Swordsman.

First, Kazan's phantom swept over the Ghost Swordsman on the ground, and then A Fei, following closely behind, slashed at the fallen body.

Just like that, the Ghost Swordsman was finished off by a single Ghost Slash from A Fei.

Quan Wudi climbed up from the ground, looked at his health bar which had dropped by more than half, and said, "Damn, that Ghost Swordsman's attack power is really high. He nearly took half my life."

Xiao Hongyuan said with great interest, "That Ghost Swordsman is very impressive. Even though he only used basic skills, they were incredibly powerful in his hands."

Jian Wuxie looked at A Fei with intense interest and asked, "How did your Ghost Slash skill change after your Class Advancement?"

"That's Spirit Devouring Ghost Slash; it's a special skill for the Ghost Cry," A Fei said with a light chuckle.

At that moment, the Grim Reaper appeared again. He first waved his hand to restore everyone's status to full, then left a faint message: "Nimble footwork is the foundation of battle. Go up!" With that, he vanished.

As the four continued upward, Xiao Hongyuan said, "The difficulty of each floor is gradually increasing. Let's all attack together from now on."

Upon reaching the fourth floor, they saw four Minotaur Giant Beasts inside the tower, staring at them and breathing heavily.

Xiao Hongyuan immediately cast her newly learned skill, Overdrive, to buff herself.

A Fei reached out again, activating Afterimage Keiga and Ghost Shadow Step.

Jian Wuxie was not to be outdone. He activated his newly learned Blood Frenzy and Berserk states. A faint blood-colored aura surrounded his body, and his eyes became bloodshot. With a slightly crazed look, he stared directly at the four Minotaur Giant Beasts.

Feeling the change in the trio's auras, Quan Wudi shot them an envious glance. He then quickly released his Nen Qi Wave, which was only the size of a quail egg. With a flash of silver light, he hurriedly slapped the Nen Qi Wave apart, causing wisps of lightning to coil around his hands.

"Don't lose face even if you're outmatched," Quan Wudi thought silently to himself, with lightning still flickering on his hands.

Little did he know that the other three didn't even look at him; they charged straight at the four Minotaur Giant Beasts, making Quan Wudi feel like a clown.

He could only give an embarrassed cough and run toward the last remaining beast.

Xiao Hongyuan was the first to close in using Five-Stage Slash. The sword light from her light sword was incredibly fast, leaving five wounds on the Minotaur Giant Beast in the blink of an eye.

The Minotaur Giant Beast immediately raised its arms and slammed them down toward Xiao Hongyuan.

"Back Hop Slash!" Xiao Hongyuan shouted. As she hopped backward, she also delivered a swift slash with the light sword in front of her.

This not only dodged the Minotaur's hammer strike but also left another wound on its arm in the process.

Jian Wuxie's side was even more exaggerated. In his Blood Frenzy state, he held a Greatsword in his right hand, while his blood-red Ghost Hand on the left now held a Blood Sword that seemed to be condensed from fresh blood.

Ignoring the Minotaur Giant Beast's attacks, he hacked and slashed at the beast with both swords like a madman, leaving numerous wounds and causing blood to flow freely.

Seeing the blood made Jian Wuxie even more excited. He unleashed a massive Cross Slash; not only was it larger, but after the blood-colored Sword Qi struck, it had a second stage that sliced straight into the Minotaur Giant Beast's body, causing a bleeding status and a massive spray of blood.

Jian Wuxie let out a wild laugh and reached out with his left Ghost Hand, suddenly grabbing the Minotaur Giant Beast. A powerful suction force pulled the blood from within the beast toward the Ghost Hand.

With a 'bang', the gathered blood was suddenly sprayed back out by a massive force, turning into blood spikes that pierced through the Minotaur Giant Beast's body, dealing massive damage.

Jian Wuxie tilted his head back and took a deep, intoxicated breath. He felt his Ghost Hand absorb the life essence of the Minotaur Giant Beast, making his own strength grow. This sudden surge of power was truly addictive.

When A Fei approached his Minotaur Giant Beast, he didn't rush to attack. Instead, he first summoned the phantom of Kazans Blade Soul. The Formation beneath the phantom's feet covered more than half of the tower's floor.

Everyone felt a jolt of spirit as they received buffs within A Fei's Formation.

A Fei reached out again. This time, a yellow-green Formation appeared beneath his feet, and a green ghost god phantom appeared in the center of the Formation. When the phantom appeared, its eyes seemed to glance at A Fei, though he wasn't sure if it was just an illusion.

As the yellow-green Formation spread, the defense and status resistance of the four Minotaur Giant Beasts began to drop.

After summoning two ghost god phantoms in a row, A Fei immediately stepped forward and shouted, "Full Moon Slash!"

A Fei seemed to release a Moonlight Slash, the bright silver sword light slicing through the Minotaur Giant Beast's body and making it howl in pain. Just as the Moonlight Slash finished, A Fei's long blade swept around his body in another circle.

If the Sword Qi of Moonlight Slash was like a crescent moon, sharp and elegant, then A Fei's third slash was like a full moon. The Sword Qi appeared like a bright moon, illuminating the small space within the tower and heavily wounding the Minotaur Giant Beast once more.

Watching the trio show off their Divine Might, Quan Wudi muttered, "Hmph, just you wait. Once I complete my Class Advancement, I'll show you what I'm made of too."

The four Minotaur Giant Beasts were quickly cleared out. Jian Wuxie and the others had become initially familiar with their new skills, and they all nodded in satisfaction.

The Grim Reaper appeared again, restored their status, and laughed, "Jie jie jie, the path ahead will require you to put your lives on the line. Are you ready?"

The expressions of the four became serious. They knew this so-called Grim Reaper was definitely not joking; every floor hereafter would only get harder.

They arrived at the fifth floor, where a young girl stood in the center of the tower. A staff floated behind her back. She wore a short skirt, a purple-red cloak, and a flower hairpin in her hair, looking very playful and cute.

Above her head was a line of introduction.

Meng Ye, Elementalist

Although the girl looked cute, the four didn't dare to be careless and immediately prepared for battle.

The little girl gave a cute laugh and waved her staff. A star trailing light flew toward the four of them.

"Flashy but useless. It's pretty, but how much attack power can this thing have?" Quan Wudi chuckled. He took the initiative to meet it, swinging his claws to swat away the small magic star.

With a soft 'thud', the star collided with Quan Wudi, shattering into a spray of tiny stars that looked exceptionally beautiful.

"Ow!" Quan Wudi cried out in pain and tumbled to the ground.

"Brother Quan, isn't that a bit much?" Jian Wuxie teased, seeing Quan Wudi's pathetic state on the ground.

"Watch out, I lost a third of my health!" Quan Wudi quickly warned.
