63: Demons in the Abyss Party

While the others were still processing his words, G.S.D swung his sword again. This time, it wasn't an ice mountain, but exploding flames. A massive pillar of fire engulfed the Dragon-Men; not a single scream was heard, and after the light faded, only fly ash remained.

After clearing the monsters, G.S.D walked to the center of the room. He reached out to touch the steel pillar radiating an evil aura and smiled. "In the future, if you encounter an Abyss Party again, you can ignore it. As long as you don't touch this pillar, you can leave safely."

(I have to ask out of curiosity, is there really anyone who can resist fighting a random Abyss when they encounter one?)

He withdrew his hand and continued with a smile, "Hehe, of course, if you are confident in your own strength, you can try challenging it. If you can overcome it, it will bring you rich rewards!"

After saying that, G.S.D suddenly struck the pillar with his sword.

Upon being attacked, the steel pillar was instantly covered in cracks. A white light seeped through the crevices, and then several skeletons wearing tattered cloth capes suddenly appeared.

Those skeletons emitted an evil aura. As they moved, their bones collided, making a clattering sound.

"Are these the demons from the Abyss?" Xiao Hongyuan asked.

"Hehe, these things? They aren't worthy!" G.S.D said. Suddenly, the complex runes surrounding his body vanished, and a massive surge of fluctuations erupted from within him.

The shockwave burst from G.S.D's body, spreading out in every angle and direction around him.

The skeletons were hit by the shockwave and instantly fell apart, their scattered bones flying everywhere.

"Watch closely. This is a skill unique to us Asura: Wave Manifestation Burst!" G.S.D explained with a relaxed smile.

"Alright, now... let's see the strength of this demon." G.S.D smiled slightly and struck the fully cracked pillar of light once more!

A roar echoed from the distant Void Realm, and a tall demon covered in flames suddenly emerged from the pillar.

A long single horn grew from its head, red hair flowed down to its back, and its tall frame was packed with muscles.

"Hehe, it seems this is a high-difficulty Abyss; even the Flame Demon Blanz has come out." G.S.D wasn't nervous at all, speaking with a smile on his face.

As soon as the Flame Demon appeared, the surrounding temperature immediately soared, and meteorites actually began to fall from the sky.

The meteorites did not disappear upon hitting the ground; instead, many Fire Spirits crawled out of them. They looked like simple flames, yet they possessed eyes and mouths.

"Little ones, step back," G.S.D instructed.

The four of them stared at the demon burning with raging flames, completely stunned. They didn't even notice that just by being near it, their own bodies had begun to catch fire.

Jian Wuxie shouted, "Retreat quickly! Just being close causes burn damage!"

The group finally snapped out of it and hurriedly ran into the distance.

Just as they reached a safe distance and stood still, they suddenly felt the environment grow dark. They quickly turned their heads to find the cause.

"Look!" Quan Wudi's mouth hung open as he pointed toward G.S.D. At that moment, G.S.D had activated some unknown skill, turning the surroundings pitch black. He smiled, placing his sword behind his back, and was slightly gathering power.

G.S.D shouted, "Asura Evil Light Slash!" In the next instant, a massive Sword Qi swept directly toward the Flame Demon.

Wherever that giant Sword Qi passed, whether it was meteorites or the Fire Spirits born from them, everything was pulverized.

The tall demon known as Flame Demon Blanz couldn't withstand the massive Sword Qi either. The moment it made contact, it let out a wail, collapsed, and vanished.

Just as the four thought the battle was over, several human figures suddenly appeared in the room following the Abyss Demon's death.

“Pfft!” Quan Wudi spat out the saliva he had forgotten to swallow, pointing at the figures in the center. “Jian Wuxie, your relatives are here!”

The three looked closely and saw four people appearing in the field, all wearing Doll Suits just like Jian Wuxie.

Upon closer inspection, there was a giraffe, a cat, a fox, and even more ridiculously, a middle-aged man wearing the same lion Doll Suit as Jian Wuxie.

As soon as those people appeared, they immediately began to attack G.S.D.

Especially the middle-aged man in the lion suit; he was actually wielding a large wooden stake carved with complex totems.

As if he had expected this, G.S.D stood his ground with a slight smile. Countless eyes suddenly appeared in the surrounding black sky, staring intently at the crowd below.

Then, a shattering sound rang out, as if the barrier between reality and the Void Realm had broken. The eyes in the sky were covered in cracks, and with a 'clack,' the dark Domain instantly exploded.

The people in Doll Suits within the Domain seemed to suffer massive damage. They screamed one after another, collapsed to the ground, and died.

The moment the lion doll fell and died, a series of clattering sounds rang out as a significant amount of equipment actually dropped.

The four watched the scene before them, frozen in place, not daring to make a move for a long time.

Finally, G.S.D spoke, "Where is that rude brat? Come here. I heard the Abyss monsters dropped quite a few things. Pick them up and take a look. An old man like me has no use for them, so you lot can divide them up."

Upon hearing G.S.D's words, Quan Wudi immediately acted like a different person, running over with a fawning smile to support G.S.D.

While holding one of G.S.D's arms, he said flatteringly, "Senior, you've worked hard. How are you? Are you tired? Do you want to take a rest?"

G.S.D shook off Quan Wudi's hand and teased, "Eh? Where is that rude brat? Who are you?"

“Hehe, look at what you're saying. Wasn't I just young and ignorant? Please bear with me,” Quan Wudi explained with a face full of smiles.

"Alright, I still prefer your arrogant and unyielding look. Why don't you... revert back?"

"Oh, I wouldn't dare! I was just being ignorant back then. You wouldn't hold a grudge against me, right?" Quan Wudi said immediately.

"Alright, enough nonsense. Go pick up the items and see if there's anything good." G.S.D helplessly extended a leg and kicked Quan Wudi to the side.

Quan Wudi walked closer and looked at the items scattered across the ground. First, he bent down to pick up two orbs. Holding them in his hand, he saw a strange vertical eye inside the orbs staring at him, making him feel a bit uneasy.

He curiously checked the attributes and then shared them with everyone.

He put the orbs away and looked at the other items on the ground.

There was a piece of armor, a pistol, the totem-covered club that the middle-aged man had used, and most conspicuously, a long sword glowing with a faint light.
