61: Job change begins

"Be careful. Every once in a while, it will trigger the cold Qi inside your bodies to attack you. You must hit and run; don't get caught up in the fight!" Lin Chuan shouted his instructions.

Knowing Ghoulguish's traits, the four took turns stepping forward, retreating after a single strike. Lin Chuan's Silver Bullets and Jian Wuxie's +12 Greatsword posed a significant threat to Ghoulguish.

But it could do nothing against them and could only passively take the beating.

With the frequent use of skills, their mana dropped rapidly. If this continued, they would have to resort to ordinary slashes to deal with it.

Fortunately, Lin Chuan was prepared; he drank rum while fighting, which allowed him to endure.

Despite the freezing environment, the four of them actually began to sweat on their foreheads.

With a whimpering "Wuaa," Ghoulguish finally collapsed to its knees, and its head was chopped off by Jian Wuxie's blade.

Panting heavily, Lin Chuan cursed, "Our equipment is still a bit lacking. It takes quite an effort every time we fight this thing."

Then he looked at Quan Wudi and said, "You've been fighting for so long, why didn't you use Nen Qi Wave? That skill counters it perfectly. My little disciple helped me out a lot with it."

Quan Wudi felt a bit embarrassed and could only demonstrate it in front of Lin Chuan.

Looking at the quail-egg-sized Nen Qi Wave, Lin Chuan speechlessly patted Quan Wudi on the shoulder and said, "Listen to me, when choosing a class for Class Advancement, whatever you do, don't choose Qigong Master!"

Luckily, they cleared it without any mishaps. It was fortunate that the Dungeon Instance's Ranks hadn't been unlocked yet; if this had been a King-Rank Ghoulguish, even a few more people would have perished here.

After leaving the Dungeon Instance, Lin Chuan called back his two little disciples who had taken the Class Advancement quest and took Xiao Hongyuan through it again. This time, with Xiao Xiao's help, it was much easier.

"Damn, I don't feel guilty at all about earning these forty thousand gold coins!" Lin Chuan thought as he watched Xiao Hongyuan walk away carrying Ghoulguish's head.

With Xiao Hongyuan's quest completed, G.S.D looked at the four in front of him with satisfaction and said, "Since you have completed the final trial, it is time for you to choose the class that suits you."

As G.S.D finished speaking, a translucent light screen appeared before the four of them, showing what each class looked like after Class Advancement.

The four watched the demonstration videos for each class with curiosity.

Xiao Hongyuan watched as one of the classes skillfully used various magnificent sword techniques to weave through the enemy crowd. Finally, with a wave of the hand, twenty-four different longswords instantly formed a sword formation, firmly trapping the monsters within it in mid-air.

The surrounding longswords turned into flashes of sword light, passing through the enemies' bodies with the speed of lightning. Finally, they merged into a world-shaking blow; a massive Sword Qi slashed directly at the enemies in the formation, turning them into ash.

Xiao Hongyuan's eyes grew brighter as she watched. Wasn't this the ultimate Dao of the sword she had always pursued?

Nearby, A Fei looked solemn. From his perspective, a swordsman emitting the aura of ghosts and gods slowly walked out. As the purple-black light of the Ghost Hand flashed, various phantoms of ghosts and gods were summoned.

The summoned ghosts and gods stared intently at the swordsman, but were ignored by him. Instead, he manipulated the power of the ghosts and gods to inflict damage on his enemies.

Facing the terrifying gazes of both enemies and ghosts, the swordsman acted as if he hadn't seen them. He turned his back and waved a hand, and the once solid ground actually became muddy. A giant beast emitting pure evil suddenly burst out from the mud, crushing the swordsman's enemies.

A gentle breeze blew, and everything turned to ash. Only the swordsman, his body emitting a faint aura of ghosts and gods, looked up slightly at the sky, a slight smirk playing on his lips.

Watching the scene, A Fei thought of his left hand, which had been planted with a demonic seed, and gritted his teeth.

Meanwhile, for Jian Wuxie, a scene was playing of a shirtless man carrying a Greatsword, madly hacking through enemy Ranks.

With a crazed smile on his face and covered in blood, the man gripped an enemy's throat. The enemy's blood actually converged toward the man's Ghost Hand. With a wild laugh, the gathered blood suddenly erupted, bursting through the enemy's body.

The scene shifted. The man gave a cold snort, and a phantom sword hilt filled with a bloody aura appeared behind him. As the man slashed away, the enemies' blood was actually absorbed by the hilt, slowly growing into a blade.

As more blood accumulated, the longsword gradually became complete. In the next scene, at the moment the blood formed a complete sword, the man suddenly reached back, grabbed the phantom hilt, and threw it toward a large group of enemies.

The ground suddenly trembled, and a massive pillar of magma erupted from the earth, covering the large group of enemies.

After the magma pillar vanished, the enemies were long gone, with not even ashes remaining.

The man laughed wildly and waved his hand. The enemies' blood suddenly transformed into life essence and was absorbed by him, and the scars on his body healed at a visible rate.

"Now this is a real man!" Jian Wuxie watched, his blood boiling with excitement.

Quan Wudi looked at the three excited people and asked G.S.D in total confusion, "Old man, what's wrong with them? What did they see that made them so excited?"

Hearing Quan Wudi's voice, G.S.D cursed, "Are you stupid? I'm a swordsman. If you want Class Advancement, go find Pung Jin. What are you doing here with me?"

"Damn, you should have said so earlier!" Quan Wudi went to find Pung Jin with an embarrassed look.

As the scenes ended, G.S.D asked with a smile, "Well? Have you decided which class to choose?"

"I choose Sword Soul!" Xiao Hongyuan said firmly.

"I want to be a Berserker! That's a real man!" Jian Wuxie shouted.

G.S.D turned his head toward A Fei, waiting for his answer.

"I..." A Fei was very conflicted. After hesitating for a while, he finally said firmly, "I choose Ghost Cry! I will make the power of ghosts and gods my own!"

G.S.D smiled with satisfaction. "Good. The classes you've chosen are all very suitable for you."

"First, you need to give me some cubes. I need them to make items to awaken your potential," G.S.D said.

The three immediately handed over the cubes they had exchanged from Norton.

"Oh? It seems you prepared in advance. Very good!" G.S.D picked out some small white, red, and black cubes and put them away, then returned the rest to the three.

"Next, I originally needed you to go to the Tower of the Dragon People to find Dragon Eyes. However, as luck would have it, the Duke's daughter, Lorian, ran off to the Tower of the Dragon People alone to find gems. The Duke has asked me to find her and bring her back. In that case, I'll take you along with me and give you a lesson on what an Advanced swordsman is like!" G.S.D continued.

"Are you going to take action yourself?" Xiao Hongyuan asked in surprise.

"That's right! Follow me. We are going to Sky City, located on the West Coast," G.S.D said with a smile.
