214: Where does wealth come from if there are no prodigal sons in the family?

Wei Jinhua turned his head to look at his only son and smiled, "That's right, this is the Wang Family of your classmate. Watch more and speak less once we are inside."

That's right, the young man beside Wei Jinhua was Wei Tianan, the classmate of Wang Shaojun's cousin, Wang Xiaochen.

"Don't worry, I'm not a child anymore."

Although he was still in high school, growing up in such a family meant he had been subtly influenced and understood what needed to be done in different situations.

Seeing this, Wei Jinhua carried the gifts and walked toward the main gate.

Before they could get close, a Bodyguard at the entrance quickly stepped forward and asked, "Are you President Wei?"

"Yes, I am Wei Jinhua."

"Hello, President Wei. Butler Wei has informed us. Please leave your car parked outside; we have a dedicated car to take you inside. This way, please."

After speaking, they moved aside and led Wei Jinhua and his son through the Xitan Palace gate, entering the grounds.

A rolls-royce had already been waiting for a long time.

After Wei Jinhua got into this seemingly ordinary rolls-royce, he felt that something was different about it.

Yet he couldn't quite place it; he just had an overwhelming sense of security.

A moment later, the car stopped by the lake. Through the car window, Wei Jinhua saw a butler standing by the lake. Although he didn't know the butler's full name, he knew the man was Wang Shaojun's personal butler.

It seemed he was called Butler Wei. After getting out of the car, he quickly led Wei Tianan forward and smiled, "Butler Wei, thank you for waiting. This is my son, Wei Tianan. Tian'an, this is the butler beside President Wang. Hurry and greet Butler Wei."

Upon hearing this, Wei Tianan instantly understood: this was the butler accompanying Wang Shaojun, not just the Wang Family's butler. In their view, there was a significant difference between the two.

To be kept close by Wang Shaojun, he was naturally no ordinary person. Thinking this, he quickly gave a polite smile and said, "Hello, Butler Wei."

Butler Wei didn't say much about Wei Jinhua bringing his son along; he was aware of the relationship—the young man was Wang Xiaochen's classmate.

Turning his head, he first assessed the young man for a few moments, then praised him unreservedly, "You must be Young Master Xiaochen's classmate, right? Not bad, you look quite presentable. Come, follow me. The Young Lord is in the pavilion in the middle of the lake."

With that, the group of three headed toward the pavilion in the middle of the lake.

Along the way, the father and son were involuntarily drawn to the images displayed on a large screen nearby. When they saw the Flying Sword Fish, their expressions showed slight surprise.

They wondered, "What kind of fish is this? I seem to have never seen it before. It's so strange. It looks a bit like a sea fish, but why can we see it in this lake?"

Just then, a school of Seven-Colored Koi appeared before the camera and was immediately displayed on the large screen.

As a major boss, koi were naturally not uncommon to Wei Jinhua, and he had seen many precious ones, but this was the first time he had seen Seven-Colored Koi like these. Moreover, their sizes seemed almost identical.

Or rather, it was difficult to distinguish them with the naked eye. If there were only a few like this, it wouldn't have surprised him so much.

But for dozens of them to be like this, it was truly astonishing.

If Wei Jinhua was surprised, Wei Tianan beside him was even more so. But compared to his father, he didn't think as much; he just found the koi very beautiful, and looking into their eyes, they seemed particularly spirited.

Finally, when the Left Shark appeared, Wei Jinhua could no longer hold back. He pointed at the large screen and curiously asked, "Butler Wei, are the images shown here truly the scenery at the bottom of the lake?"

Butler Wei looked at the expressions on their faces and chuckled slightly, "President Wei is right. The scenes displayed are indeed images from the bottom of the lake. These fish were all sourced by the Young Lord from abroad; they are rare treasures."

Treasures?

They certainly reached the level of treasures, because even he had never seen them, let alone others.

Sourced from abroad? No wonder they aren't seen domestically. It looks like they must be rare even overseas.

His gaze returned to the Left Shark. Seeing its massive body, Wei Jinhua secretly grumbled internally: "It probably took a global search just to find three of these."

If someone accidentally fell in, wouldn't they be eaten by it?

The more he thought about it, the more likely it seemed. After all, by visual estimation, this fish was four meters long. What kind of concept was that? It was comparable to an ordinary crocodile, but slightly larger in size.

He truly couldn't understand why Wang Shaojun would raise something like this in his lake. Did all great figures enjoy keeping large animals?

What was even stranger was that these creatures seemed to coexist harmoniously with the other fish in the lake.

Filled with questions, he soon followed Butler Wei to the pavilion.

Upon arriving at the pavilion, Wei Tianan's gaze was involuntarily drawn to two beautiful figures. He saw two women, whose appearances resembled celestial maidens, sitting cross-legged on a Soft Couch, brewing tea. Their movements were skilled, and every action was pleasing to the eye.

So beautiful!

The moment he saw the Maidservants, these three words involuntarily popped into his mind.

It was praise straight from the heart. It was no exaggeration to say that they were the most elegant and charming women he had ever seen.

Seeing his son's gawking, Wei Jinhua secretly cursed him internally: "Worthless!"

He immediately nudged his son's arm discreetly. Only then did Wei Tianan snap out of it, quickly shifting his gaze to the young man standing by the edge of the pavilion, scattering fish food.

This must be Wang Xiaochen's cousin, right? Without a doubt, he was an extremely successful cousin.

That's why everyone in the Wang Family praised him. Where there is success, there is naturally failure.

Just like the person he saw on TikTok recently, whose luck was slightly worse and became the failed cousin.

Judging by that video, he understood well that it was nearly impossible for ordinary people to turn their lives around, because everyone around them would pressure them.

If you succeed, they will say you are far-sighted and articulate!

If you fail, they will say you are overly ambitious and glib!

In this world where success dictates heroism, heroes across the land are as numerous as the fish crossing the river.

Even the dragons among men struggle to advance, let alone those who are alone in the world.

They never considered that if there are no prodigal sons in the family, how can wealth be generated.

From Wei Jinhua, he had gained some understanding of the Wang Family, and thus greatly admired Wang Xiaochen's cousin.

Naturally, no one knew about the storm raging in Wei Tianan's mind. Butler Wei walked up to Wang Shaojun and respectfully said, "Young Lord, President Wei has arrived."

Hearing this, Wang Shaojun put down the fish food in his hand, took the hot towel handed to him by a Maidservant, wiped his hands, and turned to Wei Jinhua, smiling, "President Wei, long time no see. You look much younger."
