Don't forget, we are a social cancer.

When the other Hydra members in the vehicles saw that it was their own people, their morale lifted significantly.

They were not lone wolves; they still had companions, and even in death, they would not feel alone.

Mo Ruxian did not get out of the vehicle, but instead exchanged a glance with the other party and gave a slight nod, acknowledging them.

Immediately, the two convoys merged into one and headed in the direction of Brother Dao.

On the other side!

The housing area where Brother Dao and his men were located was now surrounded by the Enforcers and the Scorpion Gang.

Watching one Hydra member after another die before his eyes, Brother Dao's expression was extremely grim; the casualty count for this operation was arguably the highest in their history.

"Minister, we're running out of ammunition. The brothers are having trouble holding on."

A subordinate clutched his arm and reported the dire situation, the intense pain from the gunshot wound making him feel somewhat numb.

Facing a situation where they were outnumbered, they had only managed to hold on this long by relying on their advantage in weaponry; otherwise, they would have been completely wiped out by now.

But even so, their ammunition was limited, and now it was critically low. If a gun had no bullets, what difference was there between it and a fire poker?

They couldn't just get close and stab the enemy in the ass.

"Is there any news from the Deputy Minister? Where have they reached?"

Without ammunition, he could only pin his hopes on Mo Ruxian now.

"Minister, we... might not be able to wait for the Deputy Minister and the others to arrive. The fastest they can get here is fifteen minutes, and we might..."

He didn't finish the sentence, but everyone knew what it meant.

Hearing such disheartening words, the others couldn't stand it and spoke up.

"Damn it, it's not that time yet, why say such disheartening things? Besides, ever since I joined the organization, I never expected to live long anyway. We've already enjoyed the good life, anyway."

"Yeah, that's right. When we were in Kokang, those big tycoons were always respectful when they saw us. I never imagined I'd have a day like that. I've enjoyed everything I should have, and I have no regrets. If I had to say, it's just a pity I didn't get to show off in developed countries like Sakura Country or the US."

"And another thing, I won't be able to see the scenery from the heights. They say the journey up the mountain is arduous, but the scenery at the summit is enchanting. I guess I won't see the summit scenery in this lifetime."

"Hey, you damn fool, the scenery up there isn't something we can just see whenever we want. I don't have such high aspirations; I'd be satisfied just reaching the halfway point. There's scenery to see there too."

"Hahaha, that's right. Although a soldier who doesn't want to be a general isn't a good soldier, we have self-awareness regarding our own abilities. Being able to climb to the halfway point would be a stroke of immense luck for our ancestors."

Everyone chatted back and forth, having a lively conversation that instantly diffused the tense atmosphere.

Seeing this, Brother Dao smiled sincerely. His men didn't blame him, nor did they regret joining Hydra, which made him feel very relieved.

But no matter the atmosphere, it couldn't change their current situation.

Outside!

The Scorpion Gang Boss, flanked by several subordinates, approached the person in charge of the Enforcers. He first looked up and glanced in the direction of Brother Dao and the others, then turned his head and said, "We can't drag this out any longer. Otherwise, once their reinforcements arrive, it won't be us surrounding them anymore; it'll be a case of wolves in front and tigers behind, and it'll be hard for us to escape."

Who would have thought that upon hearing his words, the Enforcer in charge would raise his eyelids and say coldly, "Are you trying to teach me how to do my job?"

"I wouldn't dare!"

Seeing him so humble, the other party was very satisfied. After pondering for a moment, he said indifferently, "What you said makes sense; we can't drag this out anymore. And looking at their firepower, it seems their ammunition is running low. How about this: send your men to attack, and we will follow behind."

Upon hearing this, the Scorpion Gang Boss's face turned ashen. Isn't this just asking us to act as meat shields for you?

Although he thought this way, he bit the bullet and nodded, replying, "Understood, I will have my men attack immediately."

When the Scorpion Gang members saw their boss ordering an attack, they were instantly dumbfounded.

"Wait, what? Attack? Us?"

"Otherwise what? If we don't go, should we let those Enforcers go? Don't forget, we are a cancer on society."

"Damn it, why do you say that so naturally?"

"Heh, that's because I have self-awareness."

"What kind of stunt is the boss pulling? Don't you see that every single one of those Hydra members is equipped with a rifle? With that firepower, if we just charge over like this, aren't we just being used to deplete the enemy's ammunition?"

"You can't say it like that. It's more likely that Hydra doesn't have much ammunition left. Don't you see that the gunfire isn't as intense as before?"

"That's right, Old Six is right. Brothers, the time for us to distinguish ourselves has come. Charge!"

Hearing this, everyone thought about it for a moment and felt it made perfect sense. How could the boss possibly send them to deplete the enemy's ammunition?

The boss would absolutely never do that!

"Brothers, charge! So what if they have rifles? It's all just a matter of one bullet for everyone. If you die, you die; if you don't, you live forever."

The Scorpion Gang Boss looked at these fearless subordinates and suddenly felt a bit ashamed.

The gunfire, which had been sparse a second ago, suddenly intensified, and the Scorpion Gang members running in the front fell like wheat.

This scene sobered up those behind them quite a bit, their eyes filled with deep fear. Looking at the corpses covering the ground, this was what you called a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood.

"Damn it, all the corpses I've seen in these twenty-some years combined aren't as many as I've seen today."

The pungent smell of blood in the air caused fear to grow deep within their hearts.

Just then, the gunfire from Brother Dao and his men's direction suddenly stopped abruptly.

This sent them into a frenzy of joy. "Brothers, don't be afraid! They're out of bullets! Whoever is fast gets the credit, whoever is slow gets nothing!"

Hearing this, everyone yelled and charged forward again, their faces flushed with excitement. To them, the Hydra members without ammunition were now like lambs waiting to be slaughtered.

They could both earn merit and vent their pent-up emotions.

In the distance, the Enforcer in charge saw this and immediately turned to shout at the Scorpion Gang Boss, "They're out of ammunition! Tell your men I want them captured alive! I must pry their mouths open and find out where Hydra's headquarters in Vietnam is, otherwise, like wildfire that cannot be extinguished, it will grow again with the spring breeze."

Hearing this, the Scorpion Gang Boss's expression darkened. Good grief, he really doesn't treat my men like human beings. The casualties were already high, and now he's adding to the difficulty.

However, he didn't dare to have any complaints; after all, his backer was the Enforcers.

It was just a pity for his subordinates, who were dying batch after batch.

Like leeks in the stock market, being harvested batch after batch!
