362 Boss, you don't want me to take care of your sister-in-law and niece, do you?

Even if he had ten heads, he wouldn't have thought in that direction. After all, from what he knew, Hydra was not just a regional organization.

It was global; in the face of Hydra, his meager strength was simply laughable.

After thinking it over, he felt he had to use Eastern military tactics—of the Thirty-Six Stratagems, 'retreat' is the best. As long as the green mountains remain, one need not worry about firewood.

Going head-to-head with Hydra was clearly not a wise move.

"Pack up... forget it, don't bother packing. We're leaving through the secret passage right now."

Seeing him make a decision, everyone secretly breathed a sigh of relief, though there was a hint of disappointment. They were truly afraid the Poison King would get hot-headed and try to fight Hydra to the death.

If that were the case, they could only say: Boss, sorry, we'll take good care of your wife and niece for you, so you can die in peace!

Outside, the armed personnel were still resisting with all their might, unaware that their boss had already fled with his inner circle.

Instead, they were left here as cannon fodder. This is the tragedy of those at the bottom; they don't even know if they died for a cause or were just pitifully foolish.

Under the strafing of heavy machine guns, never mind mere flesh and blood, even robots would be blasted into spare parts.

Combined with rockets being fired desperately as if they cost nothing, they were riddled with holes and blown to bits before they could even poke their heads out!

The Hydra men drove their jeeps into the manor like a group of Grim Reapers, their weapons acting as scythes, frantically harvesting the lives of everyone inside.

Machine guns and rocket launchers ravaged the manor; explosions and wails formed a symphony that pierced the soul.

In a corner, the hands of three armed men holding rifles trembled slightly. Looking at the scene of corpses strewn everywhere outside, their eyes were filled with deep fear.

"fuck, where's the boss? Without anyone to command us, our people are like headless flies, unable to show any combat effectiveness. With the enemy's fierce firepower, we're dead meat if this keeps up."

"The boss? Heh, none of the leaders have shown their faces yet. They've probably already escaped."

"shit, I knew it. It's like this every time. What are we still fighting for? Let's run."

As he spoke, he turned to look outside, seemingly trying to see if there was a chance to leave. However, what met his eyes was a rocket.

Fear spread through his heart at that moment, the aura of death surrounding him. His legs felt as heavy as lead, and while his mind screamed to dodge, his feet refused to move.

The rocket hit the corner of the wall. After the explosion, only one of the three remained. The man who luckily survived looked at his companions—one had half his body blown away, and the other was bleeding uncontrollably, twitching twice on the ground before losing his breath.

"It seems... you guys won't be leaving. Don't worry, we're brothers for life. If I can escape safely, I'll take good care of your wives and daughters for you."

After whispering these words, he dragged his injured body and slowly retreated.

In less than half an hour, the entire manor became riddled with holes, with severed limbs scattered across the ground.

Looking from afar, smoke rose above the manor, and the gunfire gradually subsided.

Screech~

The sound of braking rang out as several jeeps stopped. The people on board quickly jumped out. Looking at the scene before them, they couldn't help but be somewhat moved; after all, who can remain completely indifferent in the face of death?

"Search... leave no survivors in the manor."

Outside!

After receiving the message from inside, the Hydra Minister turned and said, "The inside is mostly handled. Your men can go in and finish up."

Upon hearing this, the Major General immediately ordered his troops in. Just then, a communications officer ran over. "Report! News from the attack helicopter—no sign of the Poison King has been found within a ten-mile radius."

Hearing this, the Hydra Minister's brow couldn't help but furrow. The opponent was so cautious that he wouldn't have stayed in the manor to wait for death, and yet no news of his body had been found yet.

Seeing him remain silent, the Major General's expression also turned ugly. If the Poison King didn't die, he couldn't rest easy. There was a precedent for this; if the opponent didn't die, many others would.

"Minister... what should we do now? If we don't find him, I'm afraid it will be hard for Mexico to return to peace."

"Don't worry, we won't let you repeat the same mistakes. If he's not within ten kilometers, then expand the search to twenty, fifty, even the whole city! I want him found, dead or alive!"

Just as he finished speaking, his phone suddenly rang. He picked it up and his expression turned solemn, as it was a call from Hydra Headquarters.

Not daring to hesitate, he quickly answered.

The moment the call connected, a heavy voice came from the other end. "Surveillance across the city has not found the Poison King. He is either still in the secret passage, or the exit is in a desolate area. You can start from these two aspects. Handle this matter as quickly as possible."

Hearing this, the Minister said respectfully, "Yes, I understand!"

After hanging up, news came from inside the manor. As he expected, the bodies of the Poison King and the other high-ranking officials were not found.

Recalling the message from headquarters, the outskirts were the top priority. He checked the time and immediately ordered, "Have the attack helicopter focus on searching the outskirts. Ignore the city. Searching with helicopters alone is too slow. Send out the troops from here; we must find him today."

"Yes! I will personally lead the search. Even if we have to dig three feet into the ground, we will find him."

The troops left, leaving only Hydra's people around. The Minister then drove into the manor.

Looking at the scene inside, his heart remained calm; he was clearly used to such things.

He waved over a subordinate. "Have you found the entrance to the secret passage leading out of the manor?"

"Reporting to the Minister, we found it. Our men went down to explore, but unfortunately, the path was cut off not far in."

The path was cut off? It seemed the opponent wasn't a fool; he knew not to give them a chance to follow the trail.

"Fine, I understand. You guys go out and search too."

He didn't believe it. Unless the opponent hid in the secret passage and never came out, as long as he emerged, the Minister was confident he could find him in a very short time.

Suddenly, a flash of inspiration hit him, and he couldn't help but smirk. "You few, come with me. The rest of you, do as I just said."

After speaking, he turned back to the car and dialed a number.

The call was quickly connected. "Hello, this is Samodo, Minister of the Hydra Mexico Branch. Can you find the location of the Poison King's family?"

There was no reply from the other end, as if they were verifying his identity. A moment later, an electronically synthesized voice sounded, "Wait five minutes. Once found, the location will be sent to your phone."

Sure enough, in less than five minutes, a set of coordinates popped up on his phone.

Along with the coordinates was a message: "Sorry, we wanted to track the Poison King's location through his phone, but the opponent was very cautious and we were unsuccessful. Good luck!"
