The Last Dance at the Zheng Family Residence in Singapore

Just as Wang Jianguo was racking his brain for an answer, he saw the Landscape Crane in the lake suddenly move.

It hadn't flown or moved its feet, yet it was moving. This thoroughly confused Wang Jianguo, who momentarily thought he hadn't woken up yet.

He couldn't help but raise his hand to rub his eyes, but when he looked closely again, nothing had changed.

This piqued his curiosity. He quickly walked toward the pavilion in the lake. Only when he got close to the Landscape Crane did he realize that it was actually standing on a large fish.

Since the fish underwater was swimming, the crane naturally moved with it. Upon learning the truth, he didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

While eating breakfast in the Xitan Palace dining room, he couldn't help but mention it to everyone.

“Hey, that was really interesting. Did any of you notice something new at Xitan Palace?”

Hearing this, Wang Jianjun looked up and asked curiously, “What's new at Xitan Palace? Did a thief break in last night? That shouldn't be possible; there are so many people at home, and Bodyguards patrol at night. They couldn't have missed it.”

“Pfft~ You're so dense. If there was a thief, something would be missing. Would a thief not steal and instead bring you things?”

Zhang Yuyan couldn't help but chuckle when she heard her husband's remarkably simple answer.

Wang Jianjun smiled awkwardly upon hearing this.

As for Wang Shaojun, he naturally knew what his father was referring to and began to explain: “A white crane. Well, to be precise, it's called a Landscape Crane. This species isn't native to our country, and because of its rarity, I had people train it abroad and ship it back. You can go take a look after breakfast.

Oh, right, there's also a type of cicada at Xitan Palace called the Colorful Cicada. It glows. You might find it hard to see them during the day, but they are especially noticeable at night. Wherever you see colorful light, that point of light is them.

Just like the Landscape Crane, they are also rare species, extremely hard to find.”

Hearing his words, everyone's faces showed curiosity.

Being labeled as a rare species meant they must be very special, and the so-called Colorful Cicada was proof of that.

They had seen plenty of cicadas that chirp, but they had truly never seen one that glows.

As for whether Wang Shaojun truly imported them from abroad, they didn't care about the truth of the statement.

After all, before coming to Modu, none of them had lived the life of the wealthy. It was like someone who had never been to Heaven's Palace—how could they know what was inside?

Therefore, no one cared whether what Wang Shaojun said was true or false; they only cared about what they could see.

After breakfast, everyone came to the pavilion in the lake, where they saw two Landscape Cranes slowly approaching the pavilion, standing on the heads of the Left Sharks.

The Left Sharks stopped less than ten meters from the pavilion. Xiao Hei looked at the Left Sharks being stepped on by the Landscape Cranes and secretly laughed in his heart.

Thinking: You also have a day when you get stepped on.

As the Wang Family members were sizing up the Landscape Cranes, the cranes slowly spread their wings and bowed their heads slightly toward the crowd, like a gentleman greeting everyone.

“Hey, they are indeed trained. They look so smart. Not bad, not bad.”

“Did you see the black feathers on its wings? When it spreads its wings, it actually forms an ink painting. How amazing.”

“This must have been painted on, right? It makes it much more aesthetically pleasing.”

“It must be painted. Nothing natural could be so perfect. Didn't you notice? It's even more lifelike than the landscape paintings done by many masters.”

“Shaojun, you must have hired a famous master abroad to paint on them, right?”

Hearing this, Wang Shaojun nodded repeatedly. “Uh... yes, I hired someone abroad to paint it. And the ink used was specially formulated so it won't fade.”

What else could he do? They had already found the excuse for him, so he could only play along.

Seeing the beaming smiles on his family members' faces, he could only silently endure the pain of lying.

When the Wang Family saw him admit it, they couldn't help but sigh with emotion. Was this the life of the rich?

Sure enough, before coming to Modu, poverty had limited their imagination.

The veil of Heaven's Palace was gradually being lifted for them, and they realized with emotion that the scenery at the top was truly captivating.

Just as everyone was discussing happily, Butler Wei suddenly stepped forward and reported to Wang Shaojun: “Shaojun, Yi Zhongtian has arrived.”

Hearing this, Wang Jianguo and the others all looked over. They naturally knew who Butler Wei was referring to: the CEO of Heavenly Palace Group. In their eyes, he was definitely a great contributor to the Wang Family.

Of course, this was just what they thought, but it was understandable; anyone in their position would think the same way.

After all, since Yi Zhongtian was the CEO of Heavenly Palace Group, they naturally assumed he was indispensable to Wang Shaojun achieving his current status.

Hearing that Yi Zhongtian had arrived, Wang Shaojun turned his head to greet Wang Jianguo and the others, then turned and left the pavilion with Butler Wei.

In front of the main building, Yi Zhongtian stood respectfully facing the pavilion. Seeing Wang Shaojun approach, he quickly greeted him respectfully: “Shaojun!”

“Mhm, thank you for your hard work. Have you arranged everything at the Group?”

Looking at Yi Zhongtian's tall figure, Wang Shaojun smiled, stepped forward, and patted his shoulder.

“Please rest assured, Shaojun. I have clearly explained everything that needed to be instructed. They just need to execute according to my instructions.”

“Alright, let's go.”

After speaking, he got into the vehicle that Butler Wei had prepared in advance. After the car drove out of Xitan Palace, Wang Shaojun realized that Yi Zhongtian hadn't come alone but had brought several assistants—who, of course, were talents rewarded by the System.

This showed that Yi Zhongtian had clearly guessed why Wang Shaojun wanted to take him to Singapore... Modu Airport. A Boeing BBJ MAX7 flew into the sky.

Inside the cabin, Wang Shaojun glanced at the scenery outside the window, turned to Butler Wei, and said, “Have someone check if there is any land currently for sale in Singapore, or islands.”

“Yes, Shaojun!”

It must be said that having people at your disposal makes things efficient.

In less than ten minutes, Butler Wei received the information. “Shaojun, we found it. There is currently one plot of land for sale on the Main Island of Singapore, covering about one thousand acres.”

“Besides that, there are seven or eight islands for sale. The largest one is about fifteen square kilometers, and three of them are relatively close to each other, though they only total less than thirty square kilometers combined.

The good news is that we can obtain reclamation permits. If we connect all three islands, the area could more than double.”

“The report says they are highly sought after, so they are all being sold via auction. The auction time is noon the day after tomorrow.”

After listening to Butler Wei's report, Wang Shaojun had made up his mind.

A plot of land of one thousand acres was too small for him. However, the three islands were a decent size—over sixty square kilometers—enough to barely build a small city.
