204: Chapter 203 The Lucky One

Gu Han took the pact from the Dragon-Lizard Ant-man's hands. Its texture was rough, exuding a familiar fluctuation.

He opened it and glanced at it twice; this gadget was even cruder than the pact obtained from Tang Wuying.

However, business came first, and he would study it later. Gu Han turned his head and gave an order.

"Kill all the Flame-Holding Skulls and take them back as nourishment. Ier, you lead the wounded to withdraw first. Old Gu, you go back first as well and keep up the good work."

Ier nodded, waved his staff to whip up a gentle breeze, and lifted most of the heavily wounded Titan Ant-man.

Gu Yanxiao looked at the mess all over the ground, gave a few instructions to be safe, and then left with Ier.

Once the wounded withdrew from the Divine Kingdom, Gu Han turned around and went straight behind the magma waterfall.

Watching Cui Shi's Divine Kingdom Core floating in mid-air, a faint divine fire burned upon it. Golden light circulated inside the core, and visible Power Of Faith flowed slowly within it.

Gu Han simply sat quietly in front of the Divine Kingdom Core, not rushing to extract it.

He was still waiting for the Ant-men to scavenge for supplies.

With the Yanhuo Tribe guiding the way and helping, tons of nuclear fire crystals were dug out from the depths of the mine tunnels and piled up in the cavern hall.

In less than half an hour, the cavern hall was piled so high that there was nowhere to step. There were at least hundreds of tons of nuclear fire crystals and hundreds of thousands of tons of fire crystals. There were also all kinds of fire-type divine plants, divine buildings, and so on that he had never seen before.

Gu Han waved his hand, sweeping all the supplies into more than a dozen loading cards.

After finishing this, he took out the marching card and retrieved all the Yanhuo Tribe and Ant-man Race members.

The huge underground space instantly fell silent.

Gu Han twisted the tail behind him, removing the pact stuck between the bone spurs of his tail.

"Let me see what kind of thing this actually is."

He directly activated the pact and summoned the pact's bound person.

Before long, a flash of light appeared.

A decent-looking young man walked out from the Divine Kingdom passage.

The man raised his head, and his entire body froze.

Before him was a hundred-meter-tall giant monster covered in burning flames, overlooking him from high above.

Due to the size difference, he couldn't even see the full picture of the Dragon Fist Titan and could only retreat to the corner of the wall, his face filled with terror.

The man opened his mouth wide, snapped out of his confusion, looked at everything empty around him, and shouted a string of words in a gurgling manner.

Gu Han couldn't understand; this clearly wasn't the Xia language.

He opened the smart assistant's translation function.

"Who are you? What did you do to Cui Shi?" An electronic voice came out from the translator.

Gu Han narrowed his eyes, sizing up the man.

Combined with the previous intelligence, this person was most likely Cui Shi's younger brother, Cui Yuan.

No wonder Cui Shi dared to hand such a hot potato to someone else to test the goods; he had thought it was deep brotherly affection.

But no matter how deep it was, the fewer people who knew, the better. Gu Han had been wondering earlier, but it turned out there was a pact tightly binding them.

"Cui Shi is already dying." Gu Han controlled the Dragon Fist Titan to speak, its massive sound wave echoing in the cavern and causing falling rocks to roll, "Where are the things? Hand them over."

Cui Yuan trembled in fright, retreating several steps against the rock wall.

"I don't know what you're talking about!" He shouted somewhat flusteredly, "Don't kill me! I'm very useful! My skill is an SSS-rank [Great Fortune], which can bring you good Luck and encounters!"

Gu Han was greatly shocked inside. Real or fake?

His original plan was very simple: probe the bottom, ask for the truth, have this younger brother send out the modified version of huanyi, and then kill him so there would be no dead bodies left as evidence.

Unexpectedly, he actually picked up a big treasure this time.

[Great Fortune]? SSS-rank?

Gu Han's thoughts raced like lightning.

As an ordinary deity, how on earth could Cui Shi get his hands on unformed heavenly fire? How could he enslave the Yanhuo Tribe carrying secret techniques? The resources of the entire Divine Kingdom were extremely well-matched, those divine plants were not ordinary items either, and there were even mythological creatures like the Flame-Holding Skull.

Combined with what Cui Yuan said, he faintly had some guesses. Cui Shi hadn't told the truth from the beginning.

Gu Han suppressed the fluctuations in his heart and kept his guard up to trick him: "Your brother Cui Shi has already confessed everything. Confess honestly what you obtained from the corpse. If there are any discrepancies, you're dead meat."

Cui Yuan furrowed his brows deeply, cold sweat pouring down. He looked up at the giant beast and swallowed a mouthful of saliva.

"I... after I got the things, that boatman accidentally fell into the water and was swept away by the river. Later, I gave all the things to my brother."

Cui Yuan spoke at an extremely fast speed, afraid of being stepped to death if he spoke too slowly, "Afterwards, he asked me to find someone to inspect the goods. I just came back too, and the house suddenly caught fire. The fire was huge, and before I had time to put it out, I was called in by you."

He paused for a moment and quickly added: "The items are in my hands right now! I can give them to you at any time!"

After hearing these words, Gu Han fell into deep thought. It was indeed roughly similar to what he had imagined.

The outline of the matter was roughly clear. No wonder he always felt something was a bit off yet couldn't put his finger on it—it turned out there was strong Luck added to the body.

Moreover, boatmen usually knew how to swim, so being inexplicably washed into the water and carried away meant there was a high probability he was dead. When the house caught fire just now, this Cui Yuan was not inside the house.

Is the [Great Fortune] skill this awesome?

With his younger brother blessed by Great Fortune, perhaps the unformed heavenly fire in this Divine Kingdom, the Yanhuo Tribe with secret techniques, and even the mythological creature Flame-Holding Skull were all brought to him by his younger brother.

This pair of brothers was very likely going to make a fortune using the modified version of huanyi, if they hadn't run into him, the rightful owner.

A Divine Lord skill capable of affecting reality and the Divine Kingdom—this person could no longer be described as a big treasure; he was simply a Child of Luck.

Perhaps he could keep him around for a bit and see.

But he still had one biggest doubt in his heart: it might be possible for someone blessed with strong Luck not to be noticed during Awakening, but being enslaved by his own brother was a bit hard to justify.

"Since you awakened such a powerful skill, why weren't you spotted and invested in by major forces, but instead enslaved by your own biological brother with a pact?"

Cui Yuan froze for a moment, opened his mouth just as he was about to answer.

At that very instant, Gu Han's heart thumped violently, and he cried out loudly.

"Wait."

An inexplicable sense of crisis washed over his entire body. It was as if something extremely dangerous was about to happen, and he suddenly had a premonition of fearing that dragging things out would lead to complications.

It was too bizarre. He didn't need to wait for anything anymore, and even felt that Cui Yuan was stalling for time. Securing the gains in his bag was safer after all.

Gu Han directly raised his hand to suck dry the divine source and the Power Of Faith. The entire Divine Kingdom collapsed and contracted, and the two of them instantly entered another world.

Afterwards, Gu Han raised his massive fist and directly crushed Cui Shi's Divine Kingdom Core floating in his palm.

The core instantly shattered, and the golden light scattered, signaling that Cui Shi was thoroughly dead.

The two of them were currently inside Cui Yuan's Divine Kingdom, and there was a one-way Divine Kingdom passage on the pact.

The size of the Dragon Fist Titan controlled by Gu Han shrank once again, and his vision gradually became clear.

Before him was a hazy sky, and the air was filled with a dry, sandy scent.

This place was desolate to an appalling degree.

There was only an endless expanse of yellow earth, with a few withered and yellow weeds growing sparsely on the ground.

Inside the entire Divine Kingdom, only some Yanhuo Tribe members were raised.

These crimson-skinned humanoid creatures were gathered in the distance, looking timidly this way. The number was not large, probably only a few hundred people, but they were all uniformly Tier 4 transcendents.

"With this SSS-rank skill of yours, you managed the Divine Kingdom into this miserable state?" Gu Han couldn't help but complain internally.

Cui Yuan gave a bitter smile: "I don't want to either. My brother took all my resources."
