These runes shared the same origin as those on the Ghost Gate Pass, being the most ancient law script of the Netherworld World.

Pushing open the doors of the main hall revealed a massive chamber.

In the center of the chamber sat a massive desk. The desk was crafted from sunken wood from the bottom of the River of Oblivion, pitch-black and smooth as a mirror. The Four Treasures of the Study were laid out upon it.

The brush, ink, paper, and inkstone each emitted a faint, eerie glow.

Behind the desk was a massive chair. The backrest was carved with a Yin-Yang Taiji pattern, and on either side of the armrests were statues of Bian, so lifelike they seemed ready to spring to life at any moment.

Statues stood on both sides of the chamber. To the left were the statues of the four judges: Department of Rewarding Virtue, Department of Punishing Evil, Inspection Division, and Yin Law Office. To the right were statues of Ox-Head, Horse-Face, Day Patrol Envoy, Night Patrol Envoy, Leopard Tail, Bird Beak, Fish Gills, and Wasp. These statues were carved from yin stone mined within the Underworld Space, each standing a hundred feet tall, solemn and majestic.
