167: Chapter 166 Zhenjiang Zhenjiang Zhenjiang!!

The first group was explosive, the second was hilarious, and the pressure was snowballing onto the upcoming third group—Jang Wonyoung (aquarius) and Kang Hye-won (aries).

In the waiting area, the atmosphere between the two was a bit more solemn than the previous two groups. Jang Wonyoung unconsciously rubbed the cold, hard mini-bottle of the "Crown Aquarius" on her head, as if she could draw a bit of courage (or coolness) from this "crown" worth four hundred thousand. Kang Hye-won appeared relatively "calm," holding a pack of instant noodles provided by a sponsor, printed with a cute sheep pattern (Brand E, specializing in "rich milky flavor"), absentmindedly studying the instructions on the packaging while muttering something, seemingly pondering over something.

"Unnie, are we... really going to do what you thought of?" Jang Wonyoung’s voice was a bit weak as she looked at the pack of instant noodles in Kang Hye-won’s hand, recalling the "brilliant (?)" idea the other had just whispered to her.

Kang Hye-won looked up, her pure and beautiful face showing a Zen-like expression mixed with a hint of eagerness: "Wonyoung, since we have to do product placement anyway, why don't we do something different? Look, you're the noble (?) aquarius Saintess, and I'm... well... the Fluffy Gluttonous Little White Sheep (a name she gave herself). Our styles can contrast, but we can merge in the end."

She pointed to Jang Wonyoung’s crown: "You'll be responsible for being 'noble,' dancing, and showing off your water bottle. I'll be responsible for... 'gluttony' and 'creativity,' using these instant noodles to pull some tricks. Finally, we'll do a simple hip-hop dance together and naturally integrate the product."

"Pulling tricks... meaning?" Jang Wonyoung had an ominous premonition.

"For example... rapping?" Kang Hye-won blinked.

Jang Wonyoung: "..." Hye-won Unnie’s rapping... she hadn't not heard it; it was a very unique, personal style of... well... narration? It had a milky and innocent quality, with a metaphysical sense of rhythm.

"Unnie, are you sure about rapping? And a rap about instant noodles?" Jang Wonyoung tried to make a final struggle.

"Don't worry, it's very short, just a few lines. The focus is on your dance and our joint dance." Kang Hye-won patted her chest, looking like a reliable figure who said "Leave it to me, no problem" (doubtful).

Jang Wonyoung looked at Unnie’s beautiful face that was hard to refuse and her clear (?) eyes, then thought about the "four-hundred-thousand crown" she couldn't get rid of... whatever, she'd just go for broke. At least Hye-won Unnie’s "creativity" shouldn't be more ridiculous than the "Benevolent Mermaid" and the "Blue Spirit Monkey"... right?

Just as they were doing their final "mental preparation," Jiang Zhiyu’s voice rang out across the venue again:

"The wonderful performances continue! Next, let's welcome the third charm display team—'aquarius & aries,' Jang Wonyoung! Kang Hye-won!"

Applause rang out from below, mixed with huge expectations and cheers for these two high-popularity members, especially for Jang Wonyoung with the dazzling "crown" on her head.

The two took a deep breath and walked towards the stage. Jang Wonyoung tried to straighten her back to make the water bottle crown on her head look more "noble." Kang Hye-won held her instant noodles, a harmless sweet smile on her face.

The stage setting had been changed. The background was replaced with a simple deep blue curtain, with several large, fluffy white cloud-shaped cushions (props) scattered randomly on the floor, and... a white single sofa chair that looked very comfortable.

The music started.

It wasn't an intense dance track or funny sound effects, but a piece of ethereal, melodious instrumental music with some electronic graininess and water droplet sound effects. The rhythm was slow and the melody dreamy, faintly matching Jang Wonyoung’s setting as "aquarius" and the "Star Spring Guide."

Jang Wonyoung immediately entered the state. She first lowered her head slightly in the center of the stage, her hands gently brushing over the crown on her head as if sensing the "Power of the Star Spring" within. Then, she raised her head, her eyes becoming cool and distant, taking elegant (and careful, for fear the crown would fall) cat-like steps toward the white sofa chair.

She slowly turned around, facing away from the audience, and sat down in an extremely elegant posture—leaning slightly, one hand lightly resting on the back of the chair, long legs crossed. After sitting down, she didn't look at the audience but slightly tilted her head up, her profile tracing a perfect arc under the light, her gaze seemingly cast into the distance. One hand still rested gently on the crown on her head, while the other rested casually on the armrest.

The whole posture was very much like a fashion shoot or a pensive girl in a classical oil painting. If one ignored the shiny mineral water bottle model on her head and the light blue sportswear adorned with sequins she was wearing, she did indeed have a bit of a "noble," "quiet," and "ethereal" temperament.

The audience fell silent for a moment, seemingly stunned by this sudden "change in style," and then erupted into warm applause and discussion.

"Wow! Wonyoung is so beautiful!"

"This pose! Like a goddess!"

"The crown is glowing! It suits her so well!"

"Even though I know it's an ad, it really looks good!"

Choi Yena’s commentary also rang out at the right time, filled with amazement: "Look at Wonyoung! She sat down! Like an aquarius goddess sitting on a throne! So elegant! So beautiful! This mineral water crown... it really looks like a gemstone under the lights! As expected of... well, that very expensive brand." She almost said the price again but braked in time.

Just then, light and lively bell sounds and cute sound effects like a sheep's "baa" were added to the music (the sound engineer worked hard).

On the other side of the stage, Kang Hye-won appeared.

She held the pack of instant noodles, with an innocent and slightly "gluttonous" smile on her face, skipping to the cloud cushions in the center of the stage. She first looked curiously at Jang Wonyoung, who was sitting on the noble throne (sofa chair) "looking into the distance," and then her attention seemed completely captured by the instant noodles in her arms.

She sat cross-legged on the cloud cushion, holding the instant noodles in her arms like a treasure, and then, with her unique, milky, and slightly sticky cute voice, she began her "instant noodle rap offering":

(The rhythm relied on her own feeling, barely hitting the light bell points of the background music)

"Yo~ The princess here (pointing to Jang Wonyoung) looks a bit thirsty~ (looking at the Crown Aquarius)

But I, the Little White Sheep, have a better suggestion~ (holding up the instant noodles)

Rich milky flavor~ Chewy noodles~ The savior of a hungry belly~ (reading the ad copy on the packaging)

From the grasslands~ No, from the factory~ A warm sentiment~ (rhyming randomly)

Although it can't turn into stars~ (pointing to the sky)

But it can keep you full of energy~ to continue shining bright~ (looking at Jang Wonyoung with sincere eyes)

So~ Noble aquarius Princess~ (reaching out in an offering gesture)

Would you like to try~ the Little White Sheep's~ treasured instant noodles~? (the last line drawn out, full of milky charm)"

Her rap had no technique to speak of, and the rhythm was quite casual, more like a child excitedly introducing her favorite snack. The words were simple, direct, and even a bit childish, but combined with her pure face and non-aggressive soft voice, it actually produced a peculiar and hilarious cuteness.

The audience was stunned at first, then erupted into huge laughter and cheers!

"Hahaha! Hye-won! What are you singing?!"

"Milky rap! So cute!"

"Instant noodle rap! An offering to the princess?!"

"What kind of train of thought is this! But it's so adorable!"

Even the members in the waiting area were doubled over with laughter. An Yujin pointed at the stage and said to Kwon Eunbi, "Unnie, Hye-won Unnie’s rap is still so 'characteristic'!" Kwon Eunbi was also laughing uncontrollably.

Choi Yena laughed even harder: "Hye-won Unnie! Is she recommending instant noodles to Wonyoung? With a rap? A milky rap? Hahaha! But it sounds like these instant noodles are really delicious? Should our Grilled Sausage Stall also release a rap commercial song?"
