431: Chapter 484 Domino's seems to be missing my Arknights merchandise.
(Working overtime on May Day, suddenly realized I ran out of backlog for the previous content.)
—
Late autumn in Seoul, the night wind already had a bone-chilling coldness. In the private room of the barbecue restaurant, the heating was on full blast, but at this moment, the air seemed to be frozen. Im Yoona was still standing there, with a drunken flush on her face and an expression as innocent as a child's, still muttering "What does it mean that the bed collapsed?" Meanwhile, the others had no idea how to respond.
Shibal, what on earth did I just hear? Sunny cursed in her heart, the flush on her face not yet fully faded. Looking at Im Yoona's innocent look and remembering Kim Soo-yeon's line on the phone, "I'm very strong, I don't care if it collapses," her ears began to burn again. She took a deep breath and decided not to think about those messy things, and to deal with this drunkard in front of her first.
Yuri was the first to snap out of it and cleared her throat, saying, "Um... shall we end it here for today?" Her tone carried an urgency of "let's wrap this up and get out of here." Sooyoung immediately nodded in agreement and had already started packing her bag. Hyoyeon also stood up, but her gaze kept scanning back and forth between Im Yoona and Kim Taeyeon, a look that clearly said, "The information tonight is too much, I need to digest it." Seohyun lowered her head and pretended to tidy her clothes, but her bright red ears betrayed her—she was just a child, after all; those words just now were too shocking for her.
Now the question was—what to do with Im Yoona.
Sunny took a deep breath and said in a "let's solve the practical problem" tone, "Alright, alright, forget about the bed for now. The problem now is—who's going to take Yoona back?"
Yuri immediately raised her hand: "I've been drinking, I can't drive."
Sooyoung also raised her hand: "I've also been drinking."
Hyoyeon nodded: "Me too."
Sunny rolled her eyes: "I've also been drinking! Who here hasn't?!"
Everyone fell silent for a second, then simultaneously looked at Seohyun.
Seohyun blinked and said softly, "I... I only had one glass."
Sunny's eyes lit up: "That's perfect! Seohyun, you take Yoona back!"
Seohyun looked at Im Yoona, then at the others, and nodded: "Okay."
Kim Taeyeon stood aside, listening to their discussion. Just as she was about to say something, her phone suddenly vibrated. She looked down, and the screen clearly displayed three words—Jiang Zhiyu. Her heart skipped a beat instantly, and her face turned bright red as if it had been burned by fire. She subconsciously glanced at the others—thankfully, they were still discussing Im Yoona's matter, and no one noticed her abnormality.
Kim Taeyeon gripped her phone and secretly walked a few steps away, turning her back to the group. Her finger hovered over the answer button for a second, she took a deep breath, and then pressed it. She held the phone to her ear, her voice as quiet as a mosquito's buzz: "Yeo... Yeoboseyo..."
From the other end of the phone came that familiar voice: "Noona." Just two words, but they made Kim Taeyeon's ears turn red instantly. Her heart was thumping, so fast it felt like it would jump out of her chest. She bit her lip, trying to make her voice sound normal, but that "Mhm" got stuck in her throat and wouldn't come out.
"I heard from Soo-yeon that Yoona Noona is drunk?" Jiang Zhiyu's voice was very calm, as if he were saying the weather was nice today.
Kim Taeyeon froze for a moment. Soo-yeon? Kim Soo-yeon? How did she know Yoona was drunk? Oh right, Yoona had called Kim Soo-yeon just now. That call was heard by everyone. Those dialogues flashed through Kim Taeyeon's mind—"the bed collapsed," "I'm very strong," "I don't care if it collapses"—and her face turned even redder.
"Where are you guys now?" Jiang Zhiyu asked, "I'll come pick you up."
Kim Taeyeon's head buzzed. Without thinking, she blurted out, "No, no, no—" Her voice was so urgent and fast that she even startled herself. There was a second of silence on the other end of the phone, and then Jiang Zhiyu's voice sounded again, still calm but with a certainty that made it impossible to refuse: "Noona, it's a dinner to discuss cooperation. If we're photographed, we can just say that." He was even thinking of an excuse for her—Girls Generation members meeting the President of TG Entertainment late at night; if it were a business dinner, it would indeed be plausible.
Kim Taeyeon's heart beat even faster. She knew he was right, knew it was a reasonable excuse, knew he meant well—but she just didn't dare. "No, no, no—" She said "no" three more times, her voice getting smaller and smaller, until it was almost only audible to herself.
There was a second of silence on the other end. Then Jiang Zhiyu's voice sounded again, this time with a hint of helplessness: "I'll bring Tima along."
Kim Taeyeon bit her lower lip, her voice even softer: "Forget it, don't bother..."
Before she could finish her sentence, the phone in her hand was snatched away.
"Zhiyu!"
Sunny's voice was loud and clear, full of energy. Kim Taeyeon turned her head sharply, staring at her with wide eyes. Sunny completely ignored that murderous gaze and continued into the phone: "We're waiting for you at the entrance of the XXX restaurant! Come quickly! Yoona is done for! If you don't come, she's going to perform the Merlion in the street!"
After saying that, she hung up the phone decisively and stuffed it back into Kim Taeyeon's hand.
Kim Taeyeon held the phone, completely petrified. It took a few seconds before she came to her senses, her voice changing pitch: "Lee Soon-kyu! What are you doing!"
Sunny shrugged, looking innocent: "Helping you."
"Who asked for your help!" Kim Taeyeon stomped her feet in frustration.
Seeing her like that, Sunny couldn't help but laugh: "Taeyeon, Jiang Zhiyu has even found an excuse, brought a third wheel, and even prepared a shield for you, yet you're still there saying 'no, no' and 'forget it'—if you're not anxious, I'm anxious for you."
Kim Taeyeon opened her mouth but couldn't speak. Yuri added leisurely from the side: "Taeyeon, your face is as red as a tomato right now."
Sooyoung nodded: "Redder than Yoona's."
Hyoyeon also joined the commentary: "Your heart must be beating very fast, right?"
Being teased by them, Kim Taeyeon wished she could find a hole to crawl into, but the slight upward curve at the corner of her mouth couldn't be hidden no matter what. She lowered her head, pretending to look at her phone, but her reddened ears betrayed her.
Seeing this scene, Seohyun sighed inwardly: Taeyeon Unnie is really... too easy to read.
At this moment, Sunny had already started directing: "Yuri, clear the wine bottles on the table. Sooyoung, open the window to air it out. Hyoyeon, help Yoona tidy her clothes. Seohyun, go to the door and see if the car has arrived."
The several of them were ordered around by her, but no one complained. After all—watching the drama between Kim Taeyeon and Jiang Zhiyu was more interesting than anything.
While clearing the bottles, Yuri whispered, "What kind of expression do you think Jiang Zhiyu will have when he arrives later?"
Sooyoung lowered her voice: "He'll definitely look at Taeyeon first."
Hyoyeon added: "Then pretend nothing happened."
Seohyun said softly: "He's like that every time."
The four of them looked at each other and laughed simultaneously.
Standing by the window, Sunny looked at the street outside, feeling very proud of herself: Jiang Zhiyu, oh Jiang Zhiyu, I've helped you to this extent. If you still can't get it done, you can't blame me.
She turned her head again to look at Kim Taeyeon. She was still standing there, head lowered, gripping her phone, looking as nervous as a young girl on her first date. Sunny couldn't help but shake her head and smile.
Sunny walked to her side and said in a low voice, "Taeyeon, you know, your biggest problem is thinking too much. Jiang Zhiyu has already said that much—'I'll bring Tima along,' even preparing a third wheel for you. What are you still hesitating for?" Kim Taeyeon bit her lip and didn't speak. Sunny sighed, her voice even softer: "He really cares about you. Otherwise, why do you think he'd still come over this late? Just because he heard you guys were drunk?"
Kim Taeyeon's heart skipped a few more beats. In her mind, the face of that person appeared. That day at the entrance of the izakaya, when he said "Noona, I miss you" with those bright eyes. That day outside the Practice Room, the way his gaze lit up instantly when he saw her. And these days, every time he sent a message, it was always late at night, always just a few words—"Sleep early," "Don't be too tired," "How was your day?" He never said too much, but he never forgot to say it.
Kim Taeyeon lowered her head, looking at the name on the phone screen. Her finger gently stroked the edge of the phone as she said softly, "I didn't say I wouldn't wait."
Sunny smiled, a smile filled with relief, pride, and a sense of satisfaction that said "That's more like it." She patted Kim Taeyeon's shoulder and turned to pack up.
Kim Taeyeon stood by the window, looking at the night outside. Not far away, Yuri and Sooyoung were still whispering something, their gazes glancing over from time to time. Hyoyeon had already started putting on her coat. Seohyun silently helped Im Yoona tidy her wrinkled clothes. Im Yoona was still drunk, leaning on Seohyun's shoulder, muttering drunken words like "I want to be the president."
Watching this scene, the corners of Kim Taeyeon's mouth unconsciously curled up. Her finger slid across the phone screen, opening the chat interface with that person. The most recent messages were from a few days ago—she sent an "Are you there?", and he replied "Yes" in a second. Then she thought for a long time, typed and deleted, deleted and typed, and finally only sent a "Goodnight." He replied: "Goodnight, Noona."
Very short. But every time she saw it, her heart would beat very fast.
The phone vibrated. She looked down and saw a message from Jiang Zhiyu: "Arriving in ten minutes." Kim Taeyeon stared at those four words, the curve of her mouth impossible to suppress. She thought about it and replied with one word: "Mhm." She thought about it and added a period. She thought about it and deleted it. Finally, she just left a "Mhm" and sent it.
The moment she pressed the send button, her heart beat like a drum. She didn't know what to say when they met later, didn't know if her face would be too obviously red, didn't know if she would be like last time, unable to say anything and just standing there like a fool.
But there was one thing she knew—he was on his way. That was enough.
Outside the window, the night was as thick as ink that wouldn't dissolve. Streetlights lit up one by one, casting a dim yellow light in the late autumn night wind. Kim Taeyeon looked at the night and let out a soft breath. White mist condensed on the glass, blurring her vision. She reached out and drew a small smiley face on the mist.
Behind her, Sunny's voice came: "Taeyeon, come help! Yoona is too heavy, I can't support her alone!" Kim Taeyeon turned her head and walked towards the group of sisters who were in a mess. Im Yoona was hanging entirely on Yuri, still muttering "A female CEO can't fall." Hyoyeon was laughing at her from the side, and Sooyoung was recording with her phone. Seohyun stomped her feet in anxiety: "Unnies, stop messing around, hurry and help her to the door!"
Kim Taeyeon went over and grabbed Im Yoona's other arm. Im Yoona opened her eyes dizzily, looked at Kim Taeyeon, and suddenly smiled. That smile was drunken but somehow sincere: "Unnie, your face is so red." Kim Taeyeon froze for a moment, then subconsciously touched her face—it was burning. Im Yoona continued, her voice slurred: "Are you... thinking of someone?" Kim Taeyeon's face turned even redder; she didn't respond, just helped Im Yoona walk out. Behind her, Sunny's laughter came, a laughter full of the pride of "I know everything."
Kim Taeyeon took a deep breath and decided to ignore her. Her gaze fell on the glass door at the end of the corridor. Outside the door was the parking lot, and further away was the street. Ten minutes, he said, ten minutes. Now, two minutes had already passed.
Eight minutes left.
—
At the entrance of the restaurant, the night was deep.
The streetlights cast a warm yellow halo on the glass door, separating the inside and outside into two worlds. The heat of the barbecue restaurant gradually dissipated, replaced by the unique chill of a late autumn night, drifting in through the door crack, carrying a faint scent of osmanthus.
On the sofa next to the front desk, Kim Taeyeon sat there, her arm tightly held by Im Yoona.
Im Yoona leaned her whole body on her, her head tilted to one side, her mouth slightly open, her breathing steady and long. She had completely fallen asleep, totally unaware of where she was or that she was pressing her entire weight onto Kim Taeyeon's shoulder. Occasionally, she would let out a muddled murmur, as if dreaming of something, and then sink back into a deep sleep.
Kim Taeyeon didn't move.
It wasn't that she didn't want to move, but that she couldn't. She sat there stiffly, her back ramrod straight, even her breathing deliberately lightened. She didn't dare move randomly, fearing she would wake Im Yoona, and even more—fearing that once she relaxed, that wildly beating heart would jump out of her throat.
Her hand was sweating.
Her fingertips were icy, but her palm was burning hot.
Her heartbeat was too loud. Thump-thump, thump-thump, like someone beating a drum in her ear, making her dizzy. She even suspected the staff at the front desk could hear it; the sound was so loud she herself found it ridiculous.
It's just a meeting.
Kim Taeyeon said to herself in her heart.
[part:gemini-3.1-flash-lite]
Just here to pick someone up, not specifically to see you, don't be nervous, don't be nervous...
She took a deep breath, trying hard to calm her racing heart. The breath was too deep, and the exhale too slow; she looked like a startled little animal, ears perked up, waiting for something.
The glass door of the restaurant was pushed open.
The sound of the door hinge turning wasn't loud, but to Kim Taeyeon, it was clearer than any other sound.
She jerked her head up.
Two people walked in.
Walking in front was Jiang Zhiyu.
He was wearing a dark hoodie, hood down, his hair a bit messy. Not the kind of messy that had been carefully styled, but truly messy—like he had just been dragged out of bed and rushed out the door after a quick ruffle. A few strands of hair stuck up on top of his head, swaying gently with his steps. He looked like he hadn't had time to tidy himself up, and there was a hint of sleepiness in his eyes, but that sleepiness quickly dissipated as he scanned the inside of the restaurant.
Behind him followed Lee Tima.
This kid's state was even worse; she looked like a small animal forcibly dragged out of hibernation. Her eyes were half-open and half-closed, she was swaying as she walked, as if she might collapse on the spot at any moment. Her hair was even messier than Jiang Zhiyu's, sticking up on one side and flat on the other, her hoodie hood was crooked, and the zipper was only halfway up. She followed Jiang Zhiyu's footsteps, moving entirely on instinct.
Kim Taeyeon watched the two of them, her heart skipping another beat.
Her mouth opened slightly, wanting to say something. Hello? You're here? Was there traffic on the way?
It swirled in her mind several times, but she couldn't say a single word. Her throat felt blocked by something, and she could only watch as Jiang Zhiyu walked towards her.
Jiang Zhiyu's gaze swept past the front desk, past the waiter nearby, and finally landed on the two people on the sofa. Im Yoona was leaning on Kim Taeyeon's shoulder, fast asleep, her mouth slightly pouting, her face flushed from the alcohol.
Kim Taeyeon sat there, her face flushed, her whole body as tense as a string about to snap.
Jiang Zhiyu looked at her and smiled.
The smile was light, the corners of his mouth only slightly upturned, but the amusement in his eyes couldn't be hidden. He stood there, the light spilling down from above, casting soft shadows on his face.
"Noona."
Just two words.
Kim Taeyeon nodded, her lips moved, and she finally squeezed out one word:
"Mm."
Her voice was as small as a mosquito's buzz.
She thought he would say something else, would ask her how Im Yoona was doing, would ask why she had drunk so much, would ask her—
But Jiang Zhiyu's gaze had already moved away from her.
He bent down slightly and looked at Im Yoona.
Im Yoona didn't know when she had opened her eyes, and was staring at him unblinkingly with those drunk, hazy eyes. That gaze was direct and dazed, as if she were trying to recognize something.
Jiang Zhiyu wasn't in a hurry either, just staying bent over, making eye contact with her.
After several seconds, Im Yoona finally spoke.
"Aish..."
Her voice was slurred, carrying a heavy scent of alcohol.
"You look quite a bit like that bastard Jiang Zhiyu."
Kim Taeyeon froze completely.
Jiang Zhiyu paused for a second, then couldn't help but laugh out loud. The laughter was exceptionally clear at the quiet restaurant entrance, carrying amusement that couldn't be hidden.
"Yoona Noona is very drunk." He straightened up, looked at Kim Taeyeon, his tone carrying a hint of helplessness, "How much did she drink?"
Before Kim Taeyeon could answer, Im Yoona had already struggled to sit up straight. She reached out and pointed randomly, her finger tracing an arc in the air, finally landing on Jiang Zhiyu.
"You!"
Jiang Zhiyu looked at her.
Im Yoona pointed inside the restaurant again, her voice urgent and loud:
"Go to the bathroom!"
Kim Taeyeon's face was already beet red. She subconsciously scooted to the side, wanting to get further away from Im Yoona, but her arm was held too tightly, and she couldn't break free at all.
Jiang Zhiyu wasn't angry; on the contrary, he was even more interested. He tilted his head slightly, watching Im Yoona's righteous expression, the amusement at the corners of his mouth deepening.
"Why?"
Im Yoona glared at him, her eyes full of disdain, as if to say, "How can you not understand this?" She took a deep breath, used all her strength, and announced loudly:
"I am the President of TG! My power is unlimited!"
The voice was loud and clear, echoing at the quiet restaurant entrance. The receptionist at the front desk couldn't help but look up, take a glance, and then quickly lower her head, her shoulders shaking slightly.
Kim Taeyeon covered her face.
She didn't really want to acknowledge this sister anymore.
Jiang Zhiyu looked at her stubborn expression of "I want to be the President," nodded with a smile, and said in a tone used to coax a child:
"Nae, nae, nae, you are the President, President Im."
He paused and reached out to Im Yoona.
"So, President Im, we should go home."
Im Yoona shook her head, the movement so big she almost slid off the sofa. Kim Taeyeon quickly steadied her, and she leaned on Kim Taeyeon, looking stubborn.
"I'm not going home!"
"Then where do you want to go?"
"I want to work!"
Kim Taeyeon finally couldn't hold it in anymore. She took a deep breath, trying hard to make her voice sound patient:
"Alright Im Yoona, let's go back first, we can work tomorrow..."
"I don't want to!"
Im Yoona's voice was even louder, like a child throwing a tantrum.
Lee Tima finally came back to her senses from her half-asleep state. She rubbed her eyes, walked to Jiang Zhiyu's side, and asked dazedly:
"Yoona Unnie, what work do you want to do?"
When Im Yoona heard this question, her eyes instantly lit up. She chuckled mysteriously twice, her smile carrying the pride of "I am a business genius."
She leaned in close to Lee Tima, lowered her voice, and said in a tone that suggested "This is a huge secret":
"I am going to control the fruit corn smuggling route in South Korea!"
Lee Tima blinked.
Im Yoona continued, getting more excited as she spoke, her voice getting louder and louder:
"Become the underground fruit corn queen of South Korea!"
Kim Taeyeon didn't just want to disown this sister anymore; she planned to escape this place immediately. She looked left and right, searching for an escape route, but Im Yoona's arm was still hooked around her, and she couldn't run away at all.
Jiang Zhiyu looked at Im Yoona's "I am a business genius" expression and couldn't help but laugh.
Not only did he not stop her, but he also bent down with interest and asked in a tone of discussion:
"Noona, do you plan to go by land or by sea?"
Kim Taeyeon stared at him with wide eyes.
What are you discussing with her?!
When Im Yoona heard this question, she rolled her eyes. That eye roll was big and round, and combined with her drunken face, it was inexplicably funny. After a while, she spoke, her tone carrying a hint of disdain as if to say "Why are you so stupid?":
"Stupid!"
She looked at Jiang Zhiyu with a disgusted face.
"By sea, you'll definitely get caught by customs! The risk is very high!"
She said, leaning in a bit closer, her voice suddenly lowering, carrying a sneaky "I am a genius" tone:
"We'll go by land."
Kim Taeyeon had completely given up struggling. She leaned back against the sofa, looking at the ceiling with a blank expression, with only one thought in her mind:
Neither of these two people is normal.
Jiang Zhiyu looked at her, the arc of his mouth deepening. He didn't laugh out loud, but his eyes were full of amusement. He nodded and said in a tone of "You make a lot of sense": "If we go by land... shouldn't we pass through North Korea?"
Im Yoona was stunned.
He paused, a mischievous smile curling at the corner of his mouth.
"Noona, that's treason."
Kim Taeyeon finally couldn't hold back, and with a "slap," she hit Jiang Zhiyu on the shoulder. The sound was crisp and loud, startling everyone. She glared at him, her face as red as a cooked shrimp, ashamed and angry, but unable to speak. How can you say that! How can this person dare to say anything!
Jiang Zhiyu shrank his neck from the slap, but the amusement at the corners of his mouth couldn't be hidden. Im Yoona didn't realize the seriousness of the problem at all. She tilted her head, frowned, and seriously thought about the "treason" problem. After several seconds, her expression changed.
It became resolute. It became solemn. It became as if she were making some major decision.
She raised her head, her gaze firm, and said word by word: "Loyalty. I will become the new era of the Korean Peninsula—Yi Sun-sin."
Kim Taeyeon was completely speechless. She looked at Im Yoona's face, which was filled with "I am sacrificing myself for the country," and suddenly wanted to laugh and cry at the same time. This person, who usually looked quite smart, how did she become like this when drunk?
Kim Taeyeon and Jiang Zhiyu exchanged a glance.
Then both of them laughed.
Not that reserved kind of laughter, but the kind that they really couldn't hold back. Kim Taeyeon shook her head while laughing, and Jiang Zhiyu's shoulders were shaking from laughter.
The receptionist nearby had completely lowered her head, but her slightly trembling shoulders indicated that she was also laughing.
Kim Taeyeon thought while laughing, will tonight's events be on the trending search tomorrow? The title would probably be something like "Girls Generation member claims she wants to be Yi Sun-sin after getting drunk." The corners of her mouth twitched, but the laughter still couldn't be suppressed.
Lee Tima was still standing there, her eyes half-open and half-closed, muttering: "Yi Sun-sin... is that... the Yi Sun-sin of the turtle ship?"
Im Yoona nodded proudly: "Yes! I! Im Sun-sin! I will sail the fruit corn ship, break through the blockade of North Korea, and transport the corn to—" She paused, seemingly thinking of a destination, and finally waved her hand, "Transport it to the whole world!"
Jiang Zhiyu finally couldn't help it. He pulled Im Yoona up, his movements fast and steady. Im Yoona stumbled, and just as she was about to protest, his other hand had already covered her mouth.
"Oh~ okay." He said, while half-supporting, half-dragging her towards the door, "Regarding the route issue, let's talk in the car first. There are too many people here, it's not convenient."
With her mouth covered by him, Im Yoona made muffled noises, saying something unintelligible. From the broken syllables, one could roughly make out words like "I am the President," "My power," "Fruit corn," and so on.
Kim Taeyeon finally took her hand off her face, watching the backs of those two, feeling both annoyed and amused. She took a deep breath, stood up, grabbed her bag, and waved at Lee Tima.
Lee Tima was still standing there, her eyes about to close again. Kim Taeyeon walked over and took her hand: "Let's go, Tima."
Lee Tima dazedly "Mm"-ed and followed her outside. The receptionist girl watched this group disappear at the door, stunned for a long while, then slowly put down her mouse and covered her face. Sibal, what did she just hear? Fruit corn queen? Yi Sun-sin? Treason?
She took a deep breath and silently told herself: I heard nothing. I heard nothing at all.
Outside the door, the night wind blew, carrying a hint of chill. Kim Taeyeon walked out holding Lee Tima's hand and saw that Jiang Zhiyu had already stuffed Im Yoona into the back seat. Im Yoona was still struggling, shouting things like "I am the President," "I want to have a meeting," "Let me go," but she was ignored by Jiang Zhiyu.
He closed the car door, turned around, and looked at Kim Taeyeon. The light from the streetlamp fell on him, outlining soft contours. His hair was still a bit messy, but that smile was as warm as the autumn sun.
"Noona," he said, "get in the car."
Kim Taeyeon looked at his face, her heart skipping a few more beats. She nodded and walked over, pulling Lee Tima. Lee Tima consciously crawled into the back seat, next to Im Yoona. When Im Yoona saw someone coming, she immediately leaned over: "Tima, do you know how to smuggle fruit corn most safely?"
Lee Tima closed her eyes and mumbled: "I don't know..." Im Yoona continued to ramble: "Let me tell you, you have to dig a tunnel at the border first..."
Jiang Zhiyu opened the passenger door and looked at Kim Taeyeon. Kim Taeyeon stood there, the light from the streetlamp falling on her face, her expression unclear, but those eyes were bright.
He smiled: "Noona, sit in the front."
Kim Taeyeon paused, then lowered her head, walked over, and sat in the passenger seat. The sound of the car door closing was exceptionally clear in the night. Jiang Zhiyu walked around to the driver's seat, opened the door, and sat in. The engine hummed softly, the headlights turned on, illuminating the road ahead.
In the back seat, Im Yoona was still rambling about her "fruit corn smuggling master plan," and Lee Tima had fallen asleep, her head leaning on Im Yoona's shoulder. Im Yoona didn't care at all and continued lecturing to the air.
Kim Taeyeon sat in the passenger seat, her hands on her knees, sitting straight. Her heart was still beating fast, but that nervousness had slowly turned into an indescribable sense of peace.
Then she heard Im Yoona's voice from the back seat: "I am the President... I am the fruit corn queen... I am Yi Sun-sin..." It was slurred, as if she were talking in her sleep.
Immediately followed by Lee Tima's voice: "Unnie, Yi Sun-sin is a man..." After saying that, she went quiet again.
Kim Taeyeon couldn't help but laugh. Jiang Zhiyu also laughed. Neither of them spoke, only the night wind outside the window and the faint, crisp scent in the car.
It's autumn. Kim Taeyeon said softly in her heart.
