186: Chapter 184

Just as everyone was at a loss, the production team's "cheat" prompt arrived once again:

[The confusion of Aries has received a response from its bonded constellation—sagittarius!]

[Star Envoy of sagittarius, Lee Chaeyeon, please provide assistance!]

[Assistance method: Sacred Bow and Arrow Reconfiguration! Please shout the skill name out loud to activate the 'Green Ray Sight'!]

Lee Chaeyeon (sagittarius): "...As expected, I still can't escape the embarrassment of shouting slogans!!!"

Although she complained, as a member of the main dance line, her sense of responsibility and quick reflexes made her step forward immediately. She looked around but didn't see any bow or arrows. But the prompt said "reconfiguration"... Her gaze fell on several bottles of XX brand juice (Brand F) scattered on the ground, which Kang Hye-won had knocked over earlier. The slender shape of the juice bottles... looked a bit like arrows?

With no time to overthink, she took a deep breath, cast aside her embarrassment, and shouted loudly into the air (actually imagining herself holding a bow):

“Sacred Bow and Arrow Reconfiguration!!!”

After shouting, she felt her cheeks burning. But miraculously (or rather, pre-arranged), as she shouted, several hidden spotlights around the venue immediately projected clear green crosshairs, precisely onto the Metal Kitty Catss! Each Hello Kitty's chest was marked by a green crosshair!

“Wow! It's a sight!” Jang Wonyoung exclaimed.

“As expected, for things that rely on aim, we need a sagittarius!” An Yujin nodded as well.

Looking at those green crosshairs, Lee Chaeyeon instantly understood her role—it wasn't to actually shoot arrows, but to "guide"!

“Hye-won Unnie!” Lee Chaeyeon immediately shouted to Kang Hye-won, who was still looking dazed. “Look at the green crosses! Aim at those and hit them!”

Kang Hye-won looked at the swaying green crosses, nodded half-understandingly, and picked up another "flame bowling ball." This time, she aimed at the nearest Hello Kitty marked with a green cross and threw it again!

“Whoosh—Bang!”

This time, her aim was much better, and the bowling ball hit the Hello Kitty! The Hello Kitty fell over (with the cooperation of internal staff), making a "clatter" sound.

“It worked!” Kang Hye-won's eyes lit up.

However, another problem arose. There were too many Metal Kitty Catss, and the green cross markers were constantly moving (controlled by staff). Kang Hye-won hitting them one by one was too inefficient, and those Hello Kittys were still closing in.

“Damn, there are too many enemies, what should we do!” Kwon Eunbi looked at the approaching metal phalanx, feeling a bit anxious.

Just then, Jang Wonyoung (aquarius), who had been quietly observing, suddenly spoke up, her voice clear:

“Ah! I've got it!”

She pointed at the Metal Kitty Catss: “Look! Although these Hello Kittys are all metallic, if you look closely, the colors of the bows on their chests are different! There's red, blue, yellow, and green!”

Everyone looked closely, and indeed! On the chests of those reflective Metal Kitty Catss, the decorative bows (possibly stickers or light strips) were of various colors.

Jang Wonyoung's brain worked rapidly. Combining the phenomenon of hitting one bowling ball and the different colored ones nearby not falling, along with concepts like "geometric shapes" and "chain reactions," she quickly came to a hypothesis:

“Maybe... we need to hit Hello Kittys of the same color with the bowling ball! Just like... hitting pins in bowling, if they are arranged in a pattern, it might trigger a chain reaction! Lee Chaeyeon Unnie's rays can be used for geometric design to help Hye-won Unnie plan a strike path!”

Her analysis left everyone stunned, but then they felt it made sense! This was very much in line with Jiang Zhiyu's style of setting up "mini-games" and "puzzles"!

The production team also seemed to acknowledge this "discovery" by not refuting it.

Lee Chaeyeon immediately understood. She tried her best to concentrate (actually signaling the staff member controlling the spotlights) and attempted to make the green crosshairs stop marking randomly. Instead, they began to mark groups of Hello Kittys with the same bow color in a regular pattern, outlining simple, hypothetical "strike paths" as geometric shapes (connecting the lines briefly with rays).

“Hye-won Unnie! Hit the group with red bows! Those three where the rays form a triangle!” Lee Chaeyeon directed.

Although Kang Hye-won still had that "clumsy" charm, the instructions were clear this time. She took aim at the center of the triangular area formed by the three red-bowed Hello Kittys marked by Lee Chaeyeon's green rays and rolled the "flame bowling ball" with force!

The bowling ball followed the "path" indicated by the rays and precisely struck the first red Hello Kitty!

“Bang!” The first one fell.

Immediately after, the bowling ball continued forward after knocking down the first one. Due to the angle and the arrangement of the Hello Kittys (actually with the staff's cooperation on the falling direction), it hit the second one of the same color nearby!

When the second one fell, it knocked down the third one right next to it, which also had a red bow!

Crash~!

Three same-colored Hello Kittys fell in succession! Moreover, because they collided with each other as they fell, and perhaps due to a slight slope in the venue (designed that way), two nearby Hello Kittys of different colors (blue and yellow), despite not being directly hit by the bowling ball, were "affected" by the falling same-colored ones and wobbled before falling over too!

chain reaction!

“It worked!” everyone cheered!

“So that's it! Hit the same color to trigger a chain reaction!” An Yujin suddenly realized.

“Wonyoung is so smart!” Kwon Eunbi praised as well.
