304: Chapter 284 Collapse

What caught her eyes was a document link sent by Producer Jiang Zhi Yu.

Upon opening it, Kim Yeri's eyes widened instantly.

The document was densely packed, categorizing detailed information and promotional requirements for over a dozen brands!

From a promotional code for a well-known food delivery app (requiring a verbal plug), to a high-end bottled water brand (requiring the bottle and logo to be displayed), to a new product from a fried chicken chain (requiring a taste test and a "happy" reaction), and even the high-end coffee brand they had just been drinking (requiring mention of its "refreshing" effects), as well as... the chain dessert shop belonging to the empty strawberry milkshake cup in Jiang Zhiyu's hand (requiring the empty cup to be shown and the brand slogan to be recited)!

How is this ordering food? This is clearly a mobile advertising sales pitch!

And it had to be naturally (?) inserted into their "the collapsed daily life"!

Kim Yeri jerked her head up, looking across the distance at the control console with an intense gaze that screamed, "Producer Jiang Zhi Yu, are you kidding me?"

Jiang Zhiyu seemed to have anticipated her reaction. He calmly raised the empty strawberry milkshake cup—the one he had finished, but with its logo still prominent—and shook it towards Kim Yeri. He flashed a "you know" smile, then pointed to his phone with his other hand, then pointed at Kim Yeri, and mouthed the words, "Fighting, it's up to you."

The empty cup reflected a faint light under the lamps, as if silently emphasizing: Look, even the drink I casually had is from a sponsor. Everyone just drank coffee (also a sponsor), so since you've "replenished your energy," isn't it time to get up and "work" (advertise)?

Kim Yeri received this naked hint and "encouragement." Her little face scrunched up, and she rolled her eyes at Jiang Zhiyu—a huge, unmasked eye-roll that fully expressed her inner breakdown and complaints.

However, thinking of the temptation of that "distant" cameo role (and the oppressive feeling of Producer Jiang Zhi Yu's "smile hiding a knife"), Kim Yeri took a deep breath and resigned herself to her fate.

She started wriggling on the sofa like a little meat worm, slowly inching over to Kang Seulgi, who was hugging a pillow with a vacant look in her eyes, seemingly still reminiscing about "Shanghai Disneyland" or "Chinese food."

"Seulgi Unnie~" Kim Yeri started with a sweet, slightly suggestive tone.

"Hmm?" Kang Seulgi snapped back to reality, looking blankly at the maknae who had suddenly leaned in close.

"Unnie, do you know what the most important thing we humans must do every day, every single day, is?" Kim Yeri blinked her big eyes, trying hard to create an atmosphere of "about to reveal the truth of life."

Kang Seulgi tilted her head and thought for a moment, answering very seriously, "Hmm... brushing teeth?" She thought Kim Yeri was about to talk about hygiene tips.

"Nope~" Kim Yeri shook her head, drawing out her tone.

Joy, who was next to them, didn't even open her eyes and lazily interjected, "Sleeping? Or... spacing out?" This fit her current state perfectly.

"That's not it!" Kim Yeri pouted, expressing her dissatisfaction with her sisters' lack of cooperation.

Wendy, who had been zoning out, was pulled back by their conversation. Subconsciously, she chimed in with a flat, academic tone as if discussing a scholarly issue, "Pooping."

The air instantly froze.

Kim Yeri: "..." Kang Seulgi: "..." Joy opened her eyes.

Even Bae Joo-hyun, who had been in a vacant state, slowly turned her head and looked at Wendy with an expression of disbelief.

"Yah! Son Seung-wan!!" Joy was the first to shout, "You really are... how can you say that word so naturally?!"

Kang Seulgi's face also flushed slightly, and she muttered, "Wendy Unnie..."

Kim Yeri was so choked up by this answer that completely deviated from the script that she almost lost her breath. She clutched her chest with a look of collapse, "Ah—seriously! Unnies! It's eating! Eating!!!"

She finally gave up on the buildup and shouted the core theme directly, because if she didn't say it now, who knows where the topic would drift off to!

"The most important thing for humans every day is eating! So we..." Kim Yeri tried hard to pull the topic back, raising her phone. The screen was lit up, showing the flashy interface of a food delivery app, "Let's order takeout! There's a super great discount event today! And! It's a Red Velvet exclusive coupon channel! The kind only we can use!"

She tried hard to make her voice sound excited and tempting, as if this were some incredible stroke of luck.

The other four members of Red Velvet's brains crashed for a second, processing this abrupt turn—from a philosophical discussion on "daily necessities for humans" to a commercial promotion for "ordering takeout + exclusive discounts"?

Then, almost simultaneously, the four pairs of eyes turned in unison toward the figure behind the console who was sitting at ease.

Jiang Zhiyu was resting his chin on one hand, watching this side with a smile. Meeting their "it's you again" gaze, he wasn't the least bit guilty. Instead, he tilted his head slightly, his lips moved silently, and he clearly mouthed two words, accompanied by an extremely annoying emoticon: "Fighting~ (^ω^)"

That silent encouragement and that sparkling emoticon with cute blushing cheeks were like a small hammer, precisely striking Bae Joo-hyun's extremely fragile nerves at that moment.

Fighting your head! (^ω^) your ghost! The little person inside Bae Joo-hyun exploded with rage, a surge of evil fire mixed with shame, annoyance, helplessness, and deep powerlessness rushing straight to the top of her head. She felt her cheeks starting to heat up uncontrollably again.

So annoying! She glared fiercely at Jiang Zhiyu. Is this guy really here to film a variety show, or is he deliberately here to piss me off and torture me?!

From the test shoot until now, every single minute, he has always been able to hit her buttons in various unexpected ways, making her unable to maintain her composure, making her expressions lose control, making her points soar... Now he's even using this infuriating way to "encourage" the maknae to advertise!

Looking at Jiang Zhiyu's "all according to plan," everything-is-under-control smile, Bae Joo-hyun gritted her teeth in anger, yet felt completely helpless.

She could even imagine that Wendy's "pooping" line from just now, Kim Yeri's eventual shout of "eating," and her own flustered expression right now had surely been captured by that broken system, turning into new points and "laughing stock" for future broadcasts.

On this side, Kim Yeri was still trying hard to promote (or rather, execute the mission): "Unnies, hurry up and decide! Fried chicken? Pizza? Chinese food? Dessert? This strawberry milkshake is also delicious!" She didn't forget to point at the empty cup by Jiang Zhiyu's side.

Joy had already given up struggling and waved her hand listlessly: "Whatever, whatever... as long as you don't make me use my brain again..."

Kang Seulgi was attracted by the keywords "fried chicken," "Chinese food," and "dessert." Her eyes began to focus, and she said softly, "Then... should we order a bit of everything?"

Wendy was still immersed in a slight annoyance at having blurted out a "non-idol word" just now, and pushed up her glasses: "Hmm... let's just order it."

Bae Joo-hyun looked at her sisters who had either "defected" or "given up," the maknae who was still trying hard to "stir up trouble," and the "culprit" in the distance. In the end, she could only close her eyes and take a deep, deep breath.

Forget it, let it all be destroyed, hurry up. If we're ordering takeout, then order it. If we're advertising, then advertise.

At least... we'll get to eat.

A "Red Velvet the collapsed daily life ordering meeting," sparked by "daily necessities for humans" but actually full of commercial schemes and the director's bad taste, was forced to begin in this eerie yet funny atmosphere.

And the points leaderboard was presumably silently preparing new bonus items for the upcoming "verbal ad plugs" and "food reactions."

Under the "encouraging" gaze (and the temptation of a cameo role) of Jiang Zhiyu, Kim Yeri bit the bullet, phone in hand. Adhering to the principle of "PD said we need to show diversity and reflect the love of our sponsor daddies," she ordered almost every takeout category on the list Jiang Zhiyu sent—from fried chicken to pizza, from Chinese food to high-end Hanwoo sets, from salads to desserts (including the strawberry milkshake), and even hangover soup and ginseng chicken soup—she ordered! Every! Single! One!

As she ordered, she wept silently in her heart: How much money is this going to cost... Although Producer Jiang Zhi Yu said the company would reimburse it (sponsor deduction), this is just too exaggerated!

Not long after the order was completed, the doorbell began to ring one after another.

TG Entertainment staff transformed into diligent "takeout receivers." Under Jiang Zhiyu's instruction, they didn't take the food directly to the dining table, but instead—neatly arranged it in the center of the spacious living room floor!

Consequently, the Red Velvet dormitory living room was soon occupied by colorful takeout bags and packaging boxes printed with various brand logos, stacked layer upon layer, almost covering the entire floor.

The crispy aroma of fried chicken, the oily fragrance of Hanwoo, the stir-fry scent of Chinese food, the milky sweetness of desserts... all kinds of smells mixed together, so rich it was almost suffocating.

The other four members of Red Velvet, who had been sprawled on the sofa, were unable to continue being "salted fish" due to the continuous doorbell ringing and the increasingly intense aroma of food. They sat up one after another, staring dumbfounded at the scene before them, which resembled a small food expo or a takeout warehouse.

"Mwoya..." Joy rubbed her eyes, doubting she was hallucinating, "When did our dormitory... become a takeout transfer station?"

Kang Seulgi swallowed her saliva, shocked by the quantity: "This... this is too much, right? Can the five of us finish this?"

Wendy pushed up her glasses, which were about to slide off, and rationally analyzed: "This clearly exceeds the scope of a normal order. It's... for the filming effect, right?" She said, her eyes sweeping over the conspicuous brand packaging bags on the floor.

Bae Joo-hyun was speechless. She looked at the takeout covering the floor, then looked at the maknae hiding in the corner of the sofa, trying to minimize her presence. Finally, her gaze locked onto Jiang Zhiyu, who was smiling behind the console, and her tone carried repressed anger: "Kim Yeri! Did you order so much because you plan to open a Hanwoo farm? Or do you want to turn the dormitory into a food court?!"

Kim Yeri was collectively denounced by her sisters. She shrank her neck and looked pitifully at Jiang Zhiyu, her eyes full of distress signals: "Help me, PD-nim! I can't take it anymore! Think of something quick!"

Jiang Zhiyu had been watching their reactions with great interest, holding back laughter as he appreciated this absurd scene.

Receiving Kim Yeri's plea for help, the smile on his face faded slightly, replaced by a serious, focused, and unquestionable expression.

He shook his head slightly at Kim Yeri, signaling that "it's not over yet." Then, his finger subtly pointed at the takeout on the floor, then at the camera. Finally, he mouthed a "GO" to Kim Yeri, his eyes conveying a clear instruction: It's your turn to go on, follow the plan, no backing down.

Kim Yeri understood. The expression on her face changed from pleading to despair, and from despair to a kind of resigned acceptance.

She covered her face, her shoulders slumped, and she let out a cry of misery: "Ah—!! Seriously!!!"

A few seconds later, she abruptly lowered her hands, a "death-defying" determination appearing on her face.

She took a deep breath, as if she were about to rush not to the living room floor, but to some life-or-death battlefield.

She stood up, and under the confused gaze of her sisters, walked to the mountain of takeout. She bent down and solemnly picked up a paper bag printed with the huge logo of a well-known food delivery app.

Then, she closed her eyes and took several more deep breaths.

Internally, she was frantically hypnotizing and brainwashing herself: This is for the drama role! For the TG Entertainment cameo! For the cute exclusive Lemm! For... for not being held accountable by Producer Jiang Zhi Yu later! Kim Yeri, you can do it! You are the best variety show star! Fighting!

After completing her mental preparation, Kim Yeri snapped her eyes open, her gaze burning with an almost tragic "enthusiasm."

She turned around, facing one of the main camera lenses directly, her face instantly switching to an incredibly bright, even slightly over-the-top, smile.

She held the takeout bag high in her hands, letting the app's logo clearly face the lens. Using a voice eight octaves higher than usual, filled with the passionate, inciting power of a TV shopping host, she began her "performance":

"Annyeonghaseyo! It's Red Velvet's Yeri!" She even bowed.

"Everyone! Do you sometimes, just like us, suddenly—get really hungry!!!" She drew out her tone, clutching her stomach with an exaggerated expression, and then quickly restored her energetic appearance.

"But! It's okay!!" She changed the subject, bringing the takeout bag's logo closer to the lens, and said with rapid but clear speed:

"Because! As long as you open your phone and go on the 'XX Delivery' app—" She recited the sponsor's name word by word, "Search for 'Red Velvet'!!!"

She paused for a second, as if waiting for the audience to follow along, then her face bloomed into an even bigger smile, her voice full of temptation:

"You can immediately claim the super—huge—benefit that we, Red Velvet, have secured for you! A super-value voucher for 5000 KRW off 10000 KRW!"

"This benefit, from today—that's right, starting now! It's valid until the end of next month! And! You can claim it once every day!" She extended her index finger, emphasizing "every day."

Finally, she put her hands together, making the classic please gesture towards the camera, blinking her eyes, trying hard to release cute waves: "Such a great deal, everyone must not miss it! Please, please support Red Velvet a lot! And use 'XX Delivery' a lot too! Kamsahamnida~"

Just as Kim Yeri's fiery, professional-level advertising plug reached its climax—

Jiang Zhiyu, behind the console, pressed a sound effect key without hesitation.

Solemn, grand, choir harmonies resembling a church chant, accompanied by organ music, once again resounded throughout the living room:

[Red Velvet!] [The~ collapsed~ daily~ life~!]

The sacred music, combined with Yeri's advertisement pitch full of mundane sales vibes, and the mountain of takeout food behind her—replete with the atmosphere of worldly life—created an extremely absurd, addictive, and memorable contrast!

The camera lens perfectly captured this classic scene:

Foreground: The little sales expert Yeri, with her devoted expression and exaggerated gestures, as if hosting some major shopping festival, along with the incredibly eye-catching takeout app bag in her hand.

Background: The sofa area—Joy remained sprawled in a "big character" shape, looking completely lifeless; Kang Seulgi hugged a pillow, staring blankly at Yeri's "performance"; Wendy held her forehead with an expression of "can't bear to look" while struggling to hold back laughter; Bae Joo-hyun turned her face to the side, covering half her eyes with her hand, her shoulders shaking suspiciously, unsure if she was angry or holding back laughter. The four of them, in various "collapsed" salty fish poses, formed the most ironic footnote to this fanatical sales scene.

The title "red velvets collapsed daily life," solemnly sung by a choir, was, in this situation, simply the most brilliant annotation and sublimation of the scene before them.

Jiang Zhiyu looked at the carefully designed and perfectly presented "advertisement side story" on the monitor, satisfied, and snapped his fingers. The background point system was surely frantically calculating the "collapse value" and "commercial contribution value" for Yeri's "epic hard sell" and the "vivid background" performance of the other four.

Having completed her task, Yeri slowly lowered her arms amidst the choral singing, the professional smile on her face instantly collapsing, replaced by a sense of exhaustion and the feeling of "it's finally over." Her legs went weak, and she almost sat directly into the pile of takeout.

"Phew... I'm alive again..." She muttered, then looked resentfully in the direction of Jiang Zhiyu.

Jiang Zhiyu gave her a thumbs up and said silently: "Well done."

Yeri returned a weak eye-roll, then her gaze landed on the delicious food covering the floor. Well, at least... after all that hard work, there really was tons of good food to reward herself with.

At this moment, the other four sprawled on the sofa were still processing the information-overload scene just now: the maknae's crazy sales pitch, the sacred yet bizarre background music, and the aroma of food filling the room...

In the end, all thoughts seemed to converge into one most simple, most "collapsed" desire—

So... can we eat now?

——

The lingering echo of the choir seemed to remain in the air, the aroma of takeout did not dissipate, and the living room was filled with the absurd afterglow and hunger following the advertising frenzy.

Just then, Jiang Zhiyu's voice sounded again through the sound system, with his usual gentleness and sense of control: "Alright, everyone, thank you for your hard work."

Everyone's gaze, including those still sprawled on the sofa, those who had just "performed" and were exhausted, and those whose stomachs were rumbling from the aroma, focused on the direction of the control console.

"Today's test shoot officially ends here." Jiang Zhiyu stood up and walked to the edge of the central living room area, with a professional smile on his face as the work came to a close, "Next, our technical team will stay here to carry out some follow-up work."

He explained clearly: "First, we need to calibrate today's point system data flow and analyze the matching degree between behavioral patterns and point triggers. Second, we will review the overall process and content of today's shoot and optimize the segment settings. Most importantly, we will conduct a comprehensive summary of error codes and algorithm updates for the AI capture recognition system to ensure it is more accurate and more 'intelligent' during the official shoot." He deliberately emphasized the word "intelligent," drawing a silent eye-roll from Bae Joo-hyun—this system was already "intelligent" enough to be annoying!

"The first official shoot is tentatively scheduled for next Wednesday." Jiang Zhiyu continued, "During this period, staff may come to the dorm to perform final debugging and checks on the installed fixed cameras and sensors to ensure everything is foolproof. Rest assured, before every visit, we will formally notify you through SM Entertainment and obtain your consent. If you feel disturbed, or are not used to having unfamiliar technical staff entering and leaving the dorm, we fully understand, and suggest that you can temporarily change your place of rest during this period, such as returning to the company dorm or staying with family for a few days."

At this point, his tone shifted, and his smile carried a trace of imperceptible... sales pitch?

"Ah, speaking of rest locations, we TG Entertainment have indeed invested in some potential real estate in Seoul recently. If you have any need to purchase or rent apartments in prime locations, if you don't mind, feel free to contact me or my assistant at any time." He blinked, "The locations are all very good, and security and privacy are guaranteed; it can be considered... an extension of employee benefits?"

Red Velvet members: "..." Jumping directly from variety show filming to real estate sales? Producer Jiang Zhi Yu, isn't your business scope a bit too broad? And who is your employee?!

However, finally hearing the words "test shoot over," the five of them breathed a simultaneous sigh of relief. Regardless, this long, chaotic, shameful, and exhausting afternoon was finally coming to an end.

Jiang Zhiyu didn't stay too long, gave a few instructions to his team members, and nodded politely to the five members of Red Velvet, lingering his gaze on Bae Joo-hyun for a moment (earning a quick averted gaze from her), before leaving the dormitory with some of the core staff.

Those who remained were mainly technical staff, who began to check equipment and collect data in an orderly manner. The members of Red Velvet finally climbed off the sofa, stretched their stiff limbs, and politely greeted the remaining staff, thanking them for their hard work.

Then, their eyes fell, in unison, on the "takeout mountain" on the living room floor, which was still exuding an enticing aroma but now seemed particularly out of place.

"Um..." Wendy, as the representative, tentatively asked a technician who was tidying up cables, "These takeout meals... did Producer Jiang Zhi Yu say how to handle them?"

The technician looked up, scratched his head, and looked blank: "Ah? This... President Jiang didn't say. However..." He thought for a moment, "There's so much, you surely can't finish it all, and it will go bad if left too long. How about... we help take care of it? For example... give it to other staff at SM Entertainment? Or trainees?"

"What? SM??" Joy raised her voice in surprise.

Bae Joo-hyun also frowned. Giving it to company colleagues? Although not wasting food was a good thing, doing it in this way... felt weird.

At this time, another young woman who looked like an administrative or outreach staff member walked over and said with a smile: "Leave this to me. I happen to be going to SM Entertainment later to coordinate with their publicity department regarding today's footage and follow-up promotional arrangements. I can take it with me, as a late-night snack treat for colleagues working overtime? TG Entertainment's treat."

This suggestion sounded much more reasonable. The members of Red Velvet looked at each other and nodded. Anyway, looking at this pile of food now, they felt complicated and didn't have much appetite (mainly because they were tired and a bit dazed from the previous ad bombardment), so it was good that it could be properly handled.

Thus, with the assistance of the TG Entertainment staff, the mountain of takeout was quickly and orderly packed up and removed. Soon, the living room floor returned to cleanliness, leaving only the lingering mixed food smells in the air, reminding them of everything that had just happened.

Shortly after the takeout was cleared away, the Red Velvet Manager rushed to the dormitory. As soon as he entered, he saw the five girls scattered in the living room in various "collapsed" poses, their faces full of exhaustion, lifelessness, and some residual shame and anger.

The Manager, however, had a strange excitement on his face, walked quickly to Bae Joo-hyun, and raised his voice by two degrees: "Irene! You... you're viral!"

Bae Joo-hyun lifted her eyelids, forced a smile, and said in a flat tone with a trace of self-deprecation: "Nae, Oppa, I now... also feel quite 'fired up'." Both the literal and implied meanings were there—angry enough to be "on fire," and possibly blushing hot from shame.

The Manager was stunned for a moment, then laughed, waving his hands repeatedly: "Ani ani, not that kind of 'fired up'! It's internet popularity! Explosive!"

Once he said this, the few who were still sprawled out perked up their ears.

Yeri reacted the fastest, immediately grabbing her phone and skillfully opening social media and the trending search list. The next second, her eyes widened, and she let out an exclamation: "Omo! Daebak! We... we really are on the trending list! And not just one!"

Everyone, sensing something bad (especially remembering those shameful moments captured), immediately gathered around, several heads leaning in front of Yeri's phone screen.

Seeing on the trending list, prominently displayed:

#Bae Joo-hyun peach shy anger# Trending

#red velvets collapsed daily life# Hot

#Farfetchd swordsman Joy#

#Yeri midnight fierce roach extermination captain#

#Bae Joo-hyun cant hold it#

#Wendy poop# (...)

#Kang Seulgi screaming and running away routine skilled#

Opening the related topics, the screen was full of various memes, GIFs, and screenshots of them captured in the afternoon. There was the "peach" Bae Joo-hyun glaring at the camera, the "Farfetch'd" Joy waving a green onion with her eyes closed, the "extermination captain" Yeri wearing a crown, their disheveled backs as they fled, the shocked expressions of everyone when Wendy said "poop," and even the edited clip of Yeri's passionate takeout advertisement just now, accompanied by the "red velvets collapsed daily life" choral BGM, doubling the addictive level!

The hot comments made their vision go dark:

"Hahahaha I laughed so hard the neighbors called the police! Are the babies like this in private? Too real!"

"Bae Unnie: My lifelong reputation... Producer Jiang Zhi Yu: No, you have a new kind of cuteness!"

"Which genius made that Farfetch'd Photoshop of Joy? Come out and get a kiss!"

"Yeri's ad is amazing, I almost believed that the takeout coupon really existed (although it seems it actually does)."

"I cracked up when Wendy Unnie said 'poop' with such an academic expression!"

"Am I the only one who feels bad for Seulgi? The scared bear baby wuwu..."

"I'm definitely following this variety show! It's so interesting! TG Entertainment is awesome! Producer Jiang Zhi Yu is a genius!"

"So... 'the collapsed daily life' is just watching a top girl group collapse in fancy ways? Love it, love it!"

"SM Entertainment actually agreed to film this? Transforming? But I like it!"

"Aish..." Joy covered her face and let out a wail.

Wendy also held her forehead, her ears turning red.

Kang Seulgi buried her face in a pillow.

Bae Joo-hyun felt her temples throbbing, those screenshots and comments spinning in her mind like a revolving lantern.

Yeri, on the other hand, had mixed feelings; on one hand, she felt so ashamed, on the other hand, seeing her "center-position ad" being discussed gave her a strange sense of achievement (as well as anticipation for her future guest roles).

The Manager looked at their colorful expressions and smacked his lips with emotion: "President Jiang... he truly lives up to his name as the industry's famous 'Midas touch'. This topic relevance and attention level are maxed out instantly. I heard from some familiar Managers over at IZ*ONE that their agency both loves and hates this President Jiang; they love the huge traffic and commercial value he brings, and hate that he can always 'toss' artists around until their image is 'subverted' while still making fans pay for it. I used to think they were making a fuss, but now that it's our turn... tsk."

This "tsk" of his contained thousands of complex emotions.

The Red Velvet members looked at the Manager in unison, their eyes mournful: "Thank you! Oppa! But right now we really don't want to know these!!!" They just wanted some quiet, and to think about whether their future idol path was really heading down some strange fork in the road.

Just then, a clear "grumble" sound broke the slightly heavy atmosphere.

Everyone's gaze focused—it was Kang Seulgi. She covered her stomach embarrassedly and muttered: "Ah... if I had known, I should have quietly kept a few takeout meals... so hungry..." Having gone through the afternoon's series of scares, chaos, advertisements, and internet impact, her physical energy consumption was huge, and now that she relaxed, hunger rushed in immediately.

However, as soon as she finished speaking, she felt an "icy" gaze lock onto her.

It was their Manager; the previous emotion and excitement on his face instantly vanished, replaced by a "terrifying" smile mixed with professional vigilance, disapproval, and a hint of "you actually dare to say this in front of me." He slowly pushed up his glasses, the lenses reflecting an eerie light.

"Seulgi..." Manager Oppa's voice was terrifyingly soft, "When saying such 'dangerous' things... could you, perhaps, wait until I've left?"

Kang Seulgi: "!!!" She instantly went silent, like a startled little animal, shaking her head repeatedly to indicate she hadn't said anything.

The other four silently averted their eyes, pretending not to hear. But in their hearts, they all inevitably thought: Yeah, after a whole day of tossing around, I'm really hungry... and those takeout meals really looked delicious...

Unfortunately, there was nothing left now. Only those "glorious" achievements on the trending list and Manager Oppa's "nuclear-kind" smile reminded them of what exactly today's "the collapsed daily life" test shoot had brought.

And the next official shoot was next Wednesday. Thinking of this, everyone just felt... the future (stomach-future) was pitch black.
