11: Can I go up and take a look?

As soon as he finished speaking, he was about to wave his hand and tell this group of annoying guys to get lost.

"Boss..." A maid's timid voice sounded from the doorway, holding a phone, her expression somewhat nervous.

Gomez frowned; his mood was at its worst.

He roared impatiently, "Can't you see I'm in a meeting! Why are you so rude!"

"It's your private phone..." The maid's body trembled in fear, and she explained in a low voice.

A private phone? Gomez was stunned for a moment, knowing that the people who had this line were few and far between, and all of them were his most core partners.

He suppressed his anger and snatched the phone from the maid's hand.

"Who?!" His tone was still ice-cold.

From the other end of the phone came the voice of a young man, unhurried and even carrying a hint of a smile.

"Mr. Gomez, why are you so angry? Business is here, be happy."

It's that Chinese person! David!

Gomez's pupils shrank sharply, and his entire aura instantly shifted from rage to an extremely dangerous calm.

The other leaders in the conference room held their breath, staring fixedly at their boss's expression, not daring to breathe.

"Where is my goods?" Gomez lowered his voice and asked, word by word.

"Of course it's ready." David's voice was as relaxed as if he were talking about the weather. "Mr. Gomez, money for goods, I know the rules. The location is Arana Canyon, bring your men and the final payment over."

Arana Canyon?! Gomez's brain buzzed.

He was all too familiar with that place; it was right in the heart of his own territory!

For dozens of kilometers around, it was all his informants and patrols.

Not to mention that all the intersections leading there were watched tightly by his men and certain "friends."

How did he transport such a large batch of heavy equipment right under his nose without anyone knowing?

Could it be... he has a smuggling route that even I don't know about, one that can bypass all checkpoints?

Once this thought emerged, Gomez's heart couldn't help but beat wildly.

If he could control this route... the value would be far greater than this batch of arms!

"Good!" There was an irrepressible excitement in Gomez's voice. "I'll be there immediately!"

Hanging up the phone, he stood up abruptly and scanned the leaders under his command, his eyes as sharp as knives.

"Did you all hear that?!" "Heard it, boss!"

"Everyone! Immediately gather our best fighters, bring your gear! Load all our cash onto the cars!"

Gomez roared orders, "Target, Arana Canyon! Hurry!"

The entire manor instantly sprang into action; countless orders were passed down, and the engines of car after car roared to life.

Countless armed personnel emerged from every corner, and the entire Santa Ana Cartel, because of this one phone call, turned into a high-speed war machine.

Arana Canyon. David looked at the one hundred newly recruited Death Sworn in front of him and nodded with satisfaction.

Products from the system are guaranteed to be high quality.

Each of these men had a firm gaze and carried an aura of iron-blooded, murderous intent; they were clearly tough guys who had rolled through a hail of bullets.

"You, step out." David pointed at a Latin American man in his thirties with a scar on his face and the sharpest eyes.

"Boss!" The man immediately stepped forward, his posture straight.

"What's your name?" "Reporting to boss, Jose!"

"Very good, Jose." David patted him on the shoulder.

"Now, I appoint you as the commander of this detachment. You take these ninety-nine brothers."

"Immediately disperse into the ridges and dense forests around the valley, and find the trickiest shooting positions for me to set up an ambush."

David's eyes became serious. "Remember my order! Without my signal, even if the sky falls, you must stay put!"

"Even if you see someone pointing a gun at my head, you are absolutely not allowed to fire! Understand?!"

"Yes! Boss! Guarantee to complete the mission!"

Jose didn't hesitate at all, gave a salute, turned around and roared, "Everyone, follow me! Execute the boss's orders!"

The team of one hundred people silently broke up into smaller groups and quickly disappeared into the surrounding mountain forests, blending in with the environment.

Watching their professional tactical movements, the heavy stone in David's heart dropped halfway.

Doing business with this bunch of outlaws, if you don't keep a few trump cards, you're really asking for death.

He also called over the two Death Sworn who had previously been replaced and were guarding the entrance of the valley, and let them join Jose's team.

After doing all this, David called another Special Forces Deathsworn to his front.

"Pedro." "Boss!"

"Later, when Gomez's people arrive, you will be responsible for receiving them."

David instructed, "Just tell him I have an urgent matter, and you are fully responsible for the transaction."

"Keep a high profile; we are a seller's market, no need to coddle him. Inspect the goods, test the guns, test the aircraft."

"They can test however they want, satisfy them."

"What about the money?" Pedro asked.

"150 million US dollars for the final payment, not a penny less. Let them bring the cash in, our people will count it."

David sneered, "If they dare to play any tricks, you just tell him that our people are watching from the sky."

"Understood." Pedro nodded expressionlessly. "Go."

After arranging everything, David picked up a sniper rifle and high-magnification binoculars, turned around, and ducked into a dense forest on the side slope with an excellent view.

He wasn't used to handing his life completely over to others. Watching personally was the safest.

Time ticked by, and the heat in the valley made people drowsy.

After four in the afternoon, whispers from the sentries at the valley entrance finally came through David's headset.

"Boss, the convoy is here! A very long convoy, at least dozens of cars!"

David's spirits lifted, and he immediately raised his binoculars.

He saw that on the dirt road in the distance, a long dragon composed of dozens of pickups and SUVs was kicking up smoke and dust, driving aggressively toward the canyon.

"Jose, the enemy has entered the field. Tell the brothers to keep their butts tight and don't show any flaws."

"Received, boss. They have already entered the ambush circle."

About fifteen minutes later, the screeching of brakes echoed through the valley.

Dozens of cars formed a temporary circular formation in the center of the open space, and the car doors opened one after another.

Two or three hundred gunmen holding various automatic weapons jumped down, each looking fierce and evil, warily surveying their surroundings.

The crosshairs of David's binoculars locked onto the stretched bulletproof SUV in the very center.

The car door opened, and a man wearing a floral shirt with a golden desert eagle tucked into his waist walked out, surrounded by a group of bodyguards.

It was Gomez. David raised an eyebrow.

Hey, this old guy actually came in person? It seems the attraction of this batch of goods to him is even greater than he imagined.

After Gomez got out of the car, his hawk-like eyes immediately began to search the crowd, but he didn't see the person he wanted to see.

He frowned and asked Pedro, who was walking up to him, directly: "Where is that Chinese person? Where is David?"

Pedro, following David's instructions, answered neither humbly nor arrogantly.

"Mr. Gomez, our boss has an important matter to handle temporarily, so he entrusted me with full responsibility for this transaction. You can call me Pedro."

A flash of undisguised disappointment and displeasure crossed Gomez's face; he snorted, clearly very dissatisfied with David's absence.

But when his gaze swept past Pedro and saw that "jungle" made of steel, all his displeasure vanished in an instant.

His eyes were shining!

He strode over, as if caressing a lover, stroking the heavy armor of the humvee combat vehicles one by one.

He picked up an RPG-7, weighed it in his hand, and a look of obsession appeared on his face.

"Good stuff... Hahaha! It's all good stuff!"

The leaders and gunmen under his command were also dumbfounded, their Adam's apples bobbing as they let out bursts of exclamation.

These were all military-grade genuine products, far stronger than the junk they had in their hands by who knows how many times!

Gomez's gaze finally fell on the fifteen Ka-50 Black Shark Attack Helicopter parked quietly there.

That highly aggressive coaxial rotor design, those smooth yet menacing fuselage lines, those rows of rocket launcher pods mounted on them...

Gomez felt his breathing become rapid.

He pointed to one of them and turned to Pedro, saying, "Can I go up and take a look at this?"

"Of course you can, Mr. Gomez." Pedro nodded.

Gomez was not satisfied yet; he grinned and made a bolder request. "I want to fly a circle!"

"Boss!" A confidant beside him turned pale and hurriedly tried to dissuade him, "This is too dangerous! What if..."

"Shut up!" Gomez waved his hand impatiently, "What's there to fear! This is on my territory!"

He looked at Pedro with a provocative gaze, wanting to see the other party's reaction.

Pedro's expression didn't change at all, he just said calmly, "No problem. We have the best pilots."

He beckoned to the side, and a pilot who was also a Death Sworn immediately understood, took off his helmet, and strode toward the Ka-50 Black Shark Attack Helicopter.

This decisiveness and confidence made the look of appreciation in Gomez's eyes even stronger.

He laughed loudly and patted Pedro on the shoulder. "You've got guts! I like it!"

After speaking, he walked impatiently toward the steel beast.
