130: We've fallen for their trap! Those bastards!

He pointed at the satellite cloud map on the screen.

"Tell the meteorological department, what will the weather be like for the next 48 hours?"

"Report! In the early morning two days from now, a small cold front will pass through, and the cloud cover will be very low."

Jameson's lips curved into a smile.

"Very good."

He stood up and gave orders to everyone in the command center.

"Notify the Damascus Air Force Base, and several other key airports, to immediately begin aircraft relocation!"

"Hide all our true treasures away in the cave hangars!"

"Then, take those inflatable dolls... oh no, those inflatable models, and place them prominently on the runways!"

"Put out as many as you can! Don't skimp on the camouflage nets either; cover everything!"

"Remember, make it look convincing! I want the ground crew to look busy, and don't turn off the tower lights!"

"They want to 'pull teeth'? Then I'll prepare a mouth full of dentures for them!"

In the early morning two days later.

The sky was ink-black, and the low-hanging clouds were suffocating.

Inside the Israel, the roar of engines broke the silence of the night at dozens of air force bases.

Over a hundred F-15 and F-16 Fighter Jets.

Under the cover of a dozen electronic warfare aircraft and drones, they swooped towards Damascus like a flock of bloodthirsty vultures.

Behind them, an E-2C "Hawkeye" Early Warning Aircraft.

was circling high in the sky, monitoring the entire battlefield like a cold eye.

"The wolf pack has been deployed! Repeat, the wolf pack has been deployed!"

"Target, Damascus!"

Excited and nervous shouts from the pilots came over the radio.

Meanwhile, in the Crescent Nation, at the temporary operational command post.

A piercing alarm sounded throughout the hall.

"Report! Radar detected a large number of unidentified targets rapidly approaching from the direction of the Golan Heights!"

"The number exceeds one hundred! It's an enemy fighter formation!"

The entire command post instantly fell into a tense atmosphere.

"Air defense units request permission to fire!"

"Minister! Give the order!"

The generals all looked toward Jameson, who was sitting calmly in the center.

Jameson, however, just stared at the dense cluster of lights on the screen and waved his hand.

"No rush."

His voice was unusually calm.

"Let them fly a little closer."

"A little closer."

He watched as those light spots crossed the border and entered the effective range of the anti-aircraft missiles.

"All air defense positions, keep radar silent, do not fire!"

"What?"

A general cried out: "Don't fire? Won't that let them bomb the airport into ruins!"

Jameson looked up, grinned, and showed a mouthful of white teeth.

"What I want is not as simple as shooting down a few planes."

"I want to... Trap the Dog and Beat It!"

Inside the Israel's E-2C "Hawkeye" Early Warning Aircraft.

The radar operator yawned. He stared impatiently at the faint, intermittent signals on the screen and waved his hand dismissively.

"Ugh, what kind of bird flock is passing by now?"

"Or are those damned drones malfunctioning again? Seriously, can't they let us rest in peace in the middle of the night?"

The technician next to him chimed in.

"Probably, Boss. This airspace occasionally has strange signals."

"Last time we thought it was a UFO, but it turned out to be a scrapped agricultural plane."

They didn't pay any attention to these "little dots."

They didn't know that these flickering signals on the radar were precisely the Crescent Nation's batch of "Rainbow-7s," as mentioned by Jameson.

These drones, like ghosts, silently traversed the high altitude under the cover of night and clouds.

They monitored the Jewish air force bases 24 hours a day, not letting even a fly escape their notice.

And now, they were secretly transmitting the movements of the Israel Air Force, frame by frame, back to Damascus.

The "wolf pack" roared, penetrating the low clouds. Over a hundred F-15 and F-16 Fighter Jets.

Under the cover of a dozen electronic warfare aircraft and drones, they irresistibly swooped toward Damascus.

"Report! 20 kilometers from the target airspace!"

The pilot's voice on the radio carried uncontrollable excitement. "Prepare to deploy!"

"Received! Prepare to deploy!"

Dozens of MK20 "Rockeye" Cluster Bombs rained down from the sky.

They tore through the air, emitting a sharp whistle, and accurately slammed into the "brightly lit" runways of the Damascus Air Force Base.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Huge explosions erupted one after another, and flames shot into the sky.

The "busy" ground crew on the runway were instantly engulfed by the sea of fire.

The "fighter jets" on the apron were also shattered by the explosions. Everything looked like a tragic massacre.

"Haha! Well done!" The Israel pilots cheered excitedly over the radio.

"Damascus Air Force Base is finished! The Crescent Nation Air Force has been completely 'de-fanged' now!"

In the Crescent Nation's temporary operational command post, the alarm was deafening. On the screen, the dense cluster of light spots had already crossed the border.

"Minister! They have entered effective range!"

A general was sweating profusely with anxiety. "If we don't open fire now, those airports will really be flattened!"

Jameson remained as steady as Mount Tai. He watched the light spots on the screen representing the enemy aircraft.

They had accurately hit their "target." A playful smile curved his lips.

"The time has come." He finally spoke, his voice calm yet carrying an undeniable force.

"Notify all air defense positions, turn on all radars! Free fire!"

"Have the JF-17 Thunder Block 3 fighter jet formation 300 kilometers away take off immediately! Target, Golan Heights!"

"Block all those rats in their holes!"

"Use the stinger and SAM-11 anti-aircraft missiles to swat every single mosquito out of the sky!"

As soon as the order was given, the entire command post instantly sprang to life.

"Yes, Minister!"

Outside Damascus, the previously silent air defense positions suddenly awoke like giant beasts.

Radar antennas began to rotate rapidly, emitting a low hum. Green scanning waves instantly covered the entire night sky.

"Target locked!"

"Launch!"

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Countless streaks of fire shot up from the ground.

Trailing long plumes of fire, they rushed toward the Israel fighter formation in the sky like a reversed meteor shower.

"Alert! Large numbers of surface-to-air missiles detected!" A piercing alarm suddenly rang out inside the Israel early warning aircraft.

The radar operator's face instantly turned pale.

He watched the dense cluster of red dots on the screen rapidly approaching their aircraft.

"This is impossible! Weren't they bombed? Where are these anti-aircraft missiles coming from?" he roared.

"Boss! We're locked on! So many missiles!"

"Evade quickly! Evade quickly!"

However, it was too late. The Crescent Nation's anti-aircraft missiles, as if they had eyes, accurately rushed toward their targets.

Boom!

An F-5 "Tiger" Fighter Jet instantly exploded into a fireball in the sky, scattering debris.

Immediately afterward, another F-16 was hit, its fuselage breaking apart, trailing thick smoke as it plummeted toward the ground.

"Damn it! We fell for it! These bastards!" Israel pilots screamed in terror over the radio.

The previous cheers instantly turned into wails.

They discovered that what they had attacked were merely a pile of inflatable models!

And they had plunged headfirst into the trap carefully prepared by the Crescent Nation.

"E-2! E-2! Requesting backup! We are surrounded!"

"Damn it! Their anti-aircraft fire is too fierce! We can't break through!"

Inside the Israel E-2C early warning aircraft, the radar operator completely panicked.
