7: The situation is about to erupt!

Upon hearing this, David put down his wine glass, the bottom of which clinked against the table with a crisp sound.

He leaned back in his lounge chair, a languid posture, but his words made Gomez's heart skip a beat.

"I have Ka-50s. And more than one."

Gomez's breath hitched, and he stared intently at David.

"How many do you have?"

David held up his fingers, gesturing.

"Not many, just fifteen."

Gomez felt as if his heart had been fiercely squeezed.

Fifteen Ka-50 Black Shark Attack Helicopters!

This was enough to form a fully-staffed attack helicopter squadron!

This force, let alone dealing with other cartels, would be more than enough to contend with the Government Forces of Mexico!

He suddenly stood up, pacing back and forth by the pool, his expression shifting erratically.

"Fifteen… You… Is the person behind you a Russian interest group?" Gomez's voice trembled slightly.

Besides that massive country, he couldn't imagine who could have such a grand gesture, daring to sell active-duty equipment of this caliber.

David smiled noncommittally.

"Mr. Gomez, you don't need to know my source. You just need to know that I can get you everything you want."

He picked up his wine glass and took another sip.

"Within three days, fifteen Ka-50s, along with their matching ammunition, will all be delivered to Bolivia."

"You just need to tell me the exact coordinates for delivery."

Gomez was shocked again.

From Russia to transport fifteen attack helicopters to South America, and then stealthily deliver them to landlocked Bolivia, all in just three days?

How the hell was that done? Did they fly over?

This smuggling capability was simply heaven-defying!

The fanaticism in Gomez's eyes gradually cooled, replaced by deep apprehension and suspicion.

He stopped pacing, turned, and stared intensely at David, his gaze becoming incredibly sharp.

"Who exactly are you?"

"Three days to deliver fifteen attack helicopters to Bolivia… This kind of capability isn't something an ordinary arms dealer possesses."

"Are you CIA? Or an undercover agent sent by the DEA? Trying to lure me in this way, then round me up?"

His voice grew colder and colder, and the atmosphere by the pool instantly dropped to freezing point.

"Splash!"

Before he finished speaking, the armed personnel around them, who had been disguised as gardeners and bodyguards,

simultaneously pulled out pistols and submachine guns from under their clothes, their dark muzzles all pointed at David and Pedro.

A chilling aura filled the air.

However, almost at the same instant they drew their guns!

Pedro, who was standing behind David, and several other seemingly casual bodyguards, moved like lightning!

They didn't bother with the small fry pointing guns at them.

Pedro's desert eagle was steadily aimed at Gomez's forehead.

And the other pistols were locked onto Arce, Gomez's top confidant, respectively.

The entire process was fluid and fast, too quick for anyone to clearly see the movements!

These people's reaction speed and tactical choices were definitely not those of ordinary bodyguards!

Gomez's pupils suddenly contracted; he could feel a chill emanating from his brow.

It was a scent of death, truly from someone who had emerged from a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood.

He had no doubt that if he spoke another word, the opponent's bullet would unhesitatingly blow his brains out!

The scene was on the verge of breaking out!

"Everyone, calm down."

Breaking the deadly silence was David.

He didn't even turn to look, just waved his hand casually.

"Pedro, put your gun away. We're here to do business, not to fight."

Pedro was expressionless, but he obediently put away his desert eagle.

The few team members behind him also holstered their guns simultaneously, as if nothing had happened.

But their sharp eyes remained fixed on Gomez and Arce.

David slowly stood up, straightened his clothes, a trace of disappointment and mockery on his face.

"Mr. Gomez, it seems you lack the most basic trust in our cooperation."

"In that case, I don't think we have anything more to talk about."

"There are plenty of people in this world who want to buy my goods; you're not the only one."

With that, he turned to leave.

At this moment, Gomez was truly flustered.

He could see that David was really going to leave!

The fearless madness and the composure of facing death on this young man were definitely not faked!

He couldn't afford to gamble!

Miss this village, and there might never be this shop again!

"Mr. David! Please wait!"

Before Gomez could speak, Arce, who was beside him, quickly stepped forward and blocked David's path.

"This is all a misunderstanding!"

Arce was drenched in sweat, bowing repeatedly and apologizing to David, then turned and gave Gomez a look.

Gomez, being a shrewd person, immediately reacted and waved his hand, telling his subordinates to put away their guns.

He forced a warm smile back onto his face and quickly walked up to David.

"Mr. David, it's my fault! I'm too suspicious, I apologize to you!"

"Please don't take it to heart, we… we'll continue talking, continue talking!"

David glanced at him, a cold sneer in his heart.

He hadn't intended to leave; this Gomez was a super client, crucial to his grand plan of system upgrades.

What he had just done was merely a strategic retreat to subtly warn this suspicious drug lord.

He took the hint from Arce and sat back down in the lounge chair.

"Mr. Gomez, I hope this is the last time." His tone remained cold.

"Of course! Of course!" Arce quickly nodded and bowed, personally refilling David's glass.

"Mr. David, let's discuss the details of the transaction. For example, the payment method?"

Finally, they got to the point.

David picked up his wine glass and slowly said, "It's simple, a forty percent deposit."

"What?" Arce was stunned for a moment.

Gomez also frowned.

A deposit is standard practice in arms deals, but asking for forty percent all at once is not a low proportion.

David saw their doubts and calmly explained.

"Mr. Gomez, you're not asking for a few hundred AKs, but fifteen attack helicopters."

"Orders of this magnitude require massive capital turnover to mobilize the supply."

"I need to see your sincerity and your financial strength."

What he was thinking was that the fifteen Ka-50s in the system store had clear price tags.

With a total value of hundreds of millions of dollars, if he didn't collect some deposit first, how was he supposed to buy them?

Gomez and Arce exchanged glances, then nodded.

A forty percent deposit, while high, was not excessive for fifteen Ka-50s.

If the other party could truly procure the goods, this price was worth it!

"No problem!" Gomez decided, "I agree to a forty percent deposit!"

He completely let down his guard, his eyes once again burning with fervor.

"Mr. David, besides the fifteen Ka-50s, I also need thirty-five humvees equipped with m2 heavy machine guns."

"One hundred and twenty smaw rocket launchers!"

"You can get these too, right?"

"Small problem." David replied casually.

Gomez took a deep breath and asked the question he cared about most.

"Then… do you have anti-aircraft missiles that can take down an f-15 'eagle' fighter jet?"

He was still thinking about David's previous boast, after all.

David smiled.

"Of course."

"I'll give you two options."

"The first is the 'Stinger' anti-aircraft missile. Its advantage is portability; one person can operate it, shoot and scoot, very flexible."

"It's suitable for guerrilla warfare. Its disadvantage is limited range and power; it's fine against low-flying helicopters and attack aircraft."

"To hit a high-speed f-15, it depends on whether the pilot cooperates."

"The second option is the 'Buk' anti-aircraft missile system."

"Its advantages are long range, powerful, radar-guided targeting, and high automation. Let alone an f-15, if operated properly,"

"Even an F-22 would have to think twice. Its disadvantage is… it's a system, including a command vehicle, radar vehicle, and launcher vehicle."

"The target is too large, easily detected, and once locked onto by the enemy's air force, it's basically a pile of scrap metal."

David spoke eloquently, like the most professional sales consultant.

"It just depends on what you want, Mr. Gomez."
