6: Try it, the 1982 Lafite.

The next morning.

David was woken up by a polite and restrained knocking sound.

He opened his eyes, glanced at the dazzling sunlight outside the window, and then peeked at the sofa.

The two women who had been sent over last night were gone, and the blanket on the sofa was neatly folded.

David had only told them to shower, one sleeping on the sofa and one on the floor, while he locked the bedroom door and slept soundly.

He wasn't a Liu Xiahui, but in a place like this, he wouldn't let any uncertain factors come within three meters of him.

"Come in."

David sat up, his voice still hoarse from sleep.

The door was pushed open, and Pedro's tall figure appeared at the doorway, his expression as stern as ever.

"Boss, Jorge is waiting downstairs."

"Got it."

David nodded and walked into the bathroom.

The cold water splashing on his face instantly drove away all sleepiness.

He looked at himself in the mirror, his eyes sharp.

The main show was about to begin.

Ten minutes later, David changed into a clean casual outfit and walked out of the room feeling refreshed.

Downstairs, Jorge was anxiously pacing back and forth. Seeing David descend, he immediately greeted him with a beaming smile.

"Mr. David, did you rest well?"

"Not bad," David replied casually.

"That's good, that's good! The Boss has been waiting for you for a long time. Shall we leave now?"

Jorge rubbed his hands, his attitude overly respectful.

"Lead the way."

The motorcade started again. This time, the destination was a manor in the suburbs of Santa Ana City.

The further they drove into the suburbs, the more hostile the atmosphere became.

More and more armed personnel stood guard along the road, almost all carrying an AK47, their eyes vigilantly scanning every passing vehicle.

This was Gomez's kingdom.

When the motorcade approached a massive manor surrounded by high walls and electric fences, David knew they had arrived.

At the entrance of the manor, two rows of armed personnel holding AKs stood stiffly on either side, looking menacing.

The motorcade slowly stopped.

Jorge rushed out of the car immediately and jogged to open the rear passenger door.

"Mr. David, we have arrived."

Just as David got out of the car, an exceptionally tall man strode quickly from the villa entrance.

The man had a gleaming bald head and was wearing a flashy beach shirt, a warm smile on his face.

But the scent of blood from years of combat was impossible to conceal.

Without a doubt, he was Gomez.

"Mr. Gomez, this is the Mr. David I mentioned to you," Jorge quickly introduced.

"Welcome, my friend!"

Gomez laughed heartily, extending his large, fan-like hand and gripping David's tightly.

"I waited all night for you! Your list is simply... a gift from God!"

His strength was immense, and his palms were rough, covered in thick calluses.

David's expression didn't change as he politely responded.

"Mr. Gomez, you are too kind. I am just a businessman who happens to have the goods you need."

"Hahahaha! What a businessman! I like that!"

Gomez put his arm around David's shoulder and enthusiastically led him into the villa.

"Come, come! I have fine wine that I've collected for years; you must try it today!"

The villa's backyard was breathtakingly luxurious.

The massive pool shimmered with turquoise water, flanked by comfortable lounge chairs and parasols.

Gomez personally poured David a glass of dark red wine, its aroma filling the air.

"Try this. It's '82 Lafite. I went through a lot of trouble to get it."

David picked up the glass, gently swirled it, but did not drink.

He looked at Gomez and spoke plainly.

"Mr. Gomez, I think we should discuss business first."

The smile on Gomez's face froze for a moment, then quickly returned to enthusiasm.

He put down his glass, leaned forward slightly, and stared intently at David.

"Alright! I like people who get straight to the point!"

His voice dropped significantly, carrying an eager excitement.

"David, let me ask you one thing: the items on the list... that Ka-50 Attack Helicopter, can you really get it?"

The corner of David's mouth curved slightly upward.

"Ka-50?"

He casually uttered two words.

"That's child's play."

"As long as the money is right, forget the Ka-50, I can even get you an f-15 'eagle' fighter jet."

The moment that sentence left his mouth, the air by the pool instantly solidified.

The smile vanished completely from Gomez's face, replaced by extreme shock and suspicion.

He stared intently at David, his gaze turning sharp as a knife.

"What kind of joke are you playing?"

An F-15?

That's the US Air Force's main fighter jet! It's one of the most elite aerial killing machines on the planet!

Forget a cartel leader like him; even the king of a small country couldn't easily acquire strategic weapons of that caliber!

Was this Chinese messing with him?

"Mr. Gomez."

Meeting his scrutinizing gaze, David calmly picked up the wine glass and took a sip.

"I never joke about things like this."

"My business is based on capability. If you can afford the price, I can deliver the goods."

"Of course, you know better than I do how much trouble an F-15 can bring."

He paused, then changed the subject.

"However, when I do business, I only worry about delivery. As for whether the customer buys it for collection or for war..."

"That's outside my scope of concern. I only require money."

He was desperately short of money.

System upgrades required money, expanding the African and Middle East markets needed startup capital, and maintaining his team was a bottomless pit.

That was why he dared to accept this crazy order.

Risk means nothing! As long as the profit was big enough, he'd even sell the lawn of White House!

Gomez fell silent.

He looked at the young man before him. The calm in the other party's eyes was terrifying, and that confidence was definitely not faked.

He had been in this game for so many years and had seen countless desperadoes and ambitious figures.

But none of them dared to talk about selling an F-15 as easily as selling cabbage, like David did.

After a long time, Gomez slowly let out a breath and forced a smile back onto his face, though this smile now carried a hint of reverence.

"My apologies, Mr. David, I lost my composure."

He raised his glass, signaling to David.

"I apologize for my earlier suspicion."

Only then did David realize that this notoriously cruel and tyrannical drug lord was perhaps not as unreasonable as the rumors suggested.

At the very least... he knew how to size up a situation.

"Forget the F-15," Gomez shook his head, forcing a wry smile.

"That thing is too flashy. I fear that before it even takes off, the Americans' Tomahawk Missiles will arrive at my home first."

He drained the red wine in his glass and set the cup down heavily.

"But!"

His gaze became fervent again.

"I am very interested in your Ka-50!"
