91: Chapter 91 Exploring the Mysterious Regions of the Moon

On the Moon.

Su Fan arrived at the mysterious zone piloting a mecha, followed by a full twenty other mechas.

Their physical bodies were back on Blue Star; for something this dangerous, they had to use remote control.

"First, move the alien spaceship away, then take out the Star-Devouring Beast inside. Don't get the order wrong! This is our only chance to understand an alien civilization in a short period of time!" Su Fan's tone was serious.

"Understood, Chairman Su!" the mecha pilots responded.

"Ten of you mechas block the cave entrance. The other ten, lift this alien spaceship and run," Su Fan continued to command.

"Alright, let's begin the operation!"

The twenty mechas immediately flew into the mysterious zone. Ten blocked the cave entrance, while the other ten hoisted the alien spaceship and took off.

The alien spaceship was 68 meters long, 36 meters wide, and 24 meters high—not even as large as a single mecha. With ten mechas lifting it into the air, it was incredibly easy.

The reason Su Fan deployed so many mechas was that he didn't want to end up in a 'Calabash Brothers saving Grandpa' scenario where they were picked off one by one.

With so many idle mechas available, it was safer to send more. He had no desire to experience a cliché plot where one or two mechas are sent to explore, get solo-killed, and then have to call for backup.

Fortunately, the Star-Devouring Beast inside the cave seemed to be in a deep sleep; the commotion of moving the alien spaceship didn't wake it.

Su Fan directed the ten mechas to transport the alien spaceship into the cargo hold of the nearby kunpeng no. 2.

As a cargo-type ship, the hold of the kunpeng no. 2 was massive; fitting a small spaceship inside was child's play.

Once the alien spaceship was safely transferred, Su Fan piloted his mecha to the front of the cave.

The cave wasn't small, but it wasn't large enough for a mecha to enter.

Therefore, the next step required sending in Androids to explore.

This was simple; each of the twenty-one mechas contained two Androids specifically prepared for this exploration.

If those weren't enough, there was a whole stockpile inside the kunpeng no. 2 spaceship nearby that could be transported over at any time.

Su Fan controlled his mecha to "spit out" an Android from the chest cockpit, and then remotely connected to it via a virtual pod.

The other mechas followed suit, one after another "spitting out" Androids from their cockpits.

Soon, twenty Androids stood neatly in front of the one controlled by Su Fan.

"Let's go, let's see what's inside!" Su Fan waved his hand and took the first step into the cave.

It was pitch black inside the cave, but fortunately, since they were Androids, their eyes not only had illumination capabilities but also night vision.

After walking a short distance, Su Fan and the others reached a corner.

On the rock wall at the corner, there was a massive hole that led directly to the outside of the cave.

"This must have been caused by the ray the Star-Devouring Beast fired at the aliens," Su Fan said, touching the edge of the hole.

Without stopping, Su Fan and his team rounded the corner, then another, and the cave ahead suddenly became larger and straighter.

They continued forward cautiously for about a kilometer until a narrow opening, just wide enough for one person to pass through, appeared ahead.

Lying right at the opening were two skeletons!

Su Fan hurried forward to examine them.

He saw that both skeletons were missing their upper bodies. The lower bodies had two legs, but the leg bones were thicker and shorter than a human's, the overall leg shape was somewhat bow-legged, and the feet were larger than a human's with only four toes.

"Zhang San, Li Si, Wang Wu, Ma Liu, Chen Qi—the five of you carefully take these two skeletons back to the ship and wait for news." Su Fan pointed to five members of the team.

"Take the damaged spacesuits, other clothing near the skeletons, and whatever they were holding as well."

"Yes, Chairman Su." The five acted immediately, two people per skeleton and the fifth carrying the miscellaneous items, walking carefully back toward the cave entrance.

"Alright, let's continue exploring." Su Fan stepped through the narrow area and continued forward.

These two aliens were extremely unlucky. Judging by their prone positions and where they were found, it was clear they had been skewered like a kebab by the Star-Devouring Beast.

If one were to simulate the scene at the time...

Two aliens were exploring the cave when they accidentally woke the Star-Devouring Beast and fled for their lives. Just as they reached this narrow passage, the beast happened to fire a ray attack. The two were skewered directly, and their upper bodies were instantly destroyed and vanished.

The angle of the ray then happened to hit the spaceship outside the cave, piercing through it as well.

Since Su Fan hadn't inspected the interior of the alien spaceship yet, he wasn't sure if there were other aliens inside the small craft.

Su Fan and his team continued their exploration. After walking about two more kilometers, they arrived at a massive underground space.

From a god's-eye view, there was a giant void inside a massive mountain that led straight down into the earth. In one of the upper corners of this space was a 'small' passage leading to the surface.

This small passage was the cave tunnel Su Fan and the others had just come through.

Standing at the end of the passage and looking down, Su Fan could see a giant Star-Devouring Beast deep in sleep.

Beneath the Star-Devouring Beast's body, there was a faint glow of reddened rock!

"This place is truly spectacular!" Su Fan said with a smile.

He was currently an Android, so he felt no pressure regarding his survival.

Even if he woke the Star-Devouring Beast, so what? The important alien spaceship and the remains had already been moved. If he died, it was just the loss of an Android body.

Su Fan and the others searched the vicinity for a bit longer. Finding nothing else, they turned back toward the cave entrance.

The exploration of the cave in the Moon's mysterious zone was complete. Next was to uncover the secrets of the aliens and their spaceship.

Returning to the lunar surface, Su Fan couldn't wait to pilot his mecha back into the kunpeng no. 2.

The kunpeng no. 2 flew halfway around the Moon and arrived at one of the Super God Group's bases on the lunar surface.

Currently, the Super God Group had many bases on the Moon, all of which were unmanned.

They weren't truly 'unmanned' in the sense of having no people, but rather they had no people physically present.

The staff of the lunar bases were all actually working from their homes on Blue Star.

Su Fan had provided each of these employees with a virtual pod installed in their homes, allowing them to work on the Moon from the comfort of their own houses. It was very humane!

Furthermore, most of the work at the lunar bases was controlled by the Red Queen, achieving fully automated production. The staff's work on the Moon was very easy, almost equivalent to a paid vacation.

The kunpeng no. 2, carrying the alien spaceship, landed lightly at Wu Gang Base.

Wu Gang Base—a name given by the naming-challenged Su Fan, which Zhou Xiaoxiao had criticized countless times.

Su Fan directed the staff, who were operating mechas, to carry the alien spaceship to an open area within the base.

Then, still in his mecha, he approached the alien spaceship.

He wanted to be the first human from Blue Star to open an alien spaceship!

The ship's hatch was tightly sealed, but that didn't stop Su Fan. He reached for the high-frequency vibration sword on his back, raising the greatsword as if to strike!

This scene terrified the people present. This was a precious alien spaceship; he shouldn't destroy the data with a reckless swing!

However, their worries were unnecessary. Just as the greatsword was halfway through its swing, its speed suddenly slowed.

Su Fan carefully controlled the high-frequency vibration sword, using the tip of the blade to gently cut into the spaceship's hatch.

The others let out a collective sigh of relief at the sight.

After ten minutes of meticulous cutting, the alien spaceship's hatch was finally opened.
