92: Chapter 92 Unveiling the Mystery of Aliens on the Moon
Su Fan opened the spaceship hatch, and what came into view was a small cockpit.
"It seems the layout of this alien spaceship is completely different from our own."
Su Fan deployed an Android from his mecha and, controlling it with the mecha, placed it inside the alien spaceship's cockpit.
Both the kunpeng no. 1 and kunpeng no. 2 have side-opening doors, but this alien spaceship has a top-opening hatch.
Su Fan transferred his consciousness into the Android's body and then controlled it to explore the cockpit.
There was so much equipment in the cockpit, densely packed, that it made Su Fan dizzy just looking at it.
Apart from this equipment, the cockpit was only about twenty square meters in size, much smaller than the captain's cabin of the kunpeng no. 1.
There were three seats in the cockpit.
Beside one of the seats, an alien skeleton, consisting only of the upper body, lay quietly on the floor.
Directly in front of the alien skeleton, a dark, gaping hole had pierced straight through the cockpit and out the back.
Seeing this, how could Su Fan not understand?
This dark, gaping hole was the very same one that had pierced through the entire spaceship.
Su Fan had Red Queen perform a simple calculation to compare the angle of the hole in the cave with the hole in the ship; the angles matched perfectly.
"These three aliens had truly incredible luck—skewered all at once by the Star-Devouring Beast. In such a vast universe, this kind of coincidence is simply illogical!" Su Fan shook his head with a sigh.
Especially this alien in the spaceship; he didn't have to die, but his luck was so absurdly bad that he got shot from such a distance. One has to wonder if he did something truly heinous in his past life.
"The two aliens in the cave lost their upper bodies, and the one in the spaceship lost his lower body. Well, put them together, and you could barely piece together a complete one," Su Fan thought, feeling fortunate.
After exploring the cockpit thoroughly, Su Fan pushed open the small door leading deeper into the spaceship and dove inside.
Just over ten minutes later, Su Fan emerged again.
The space inside was mostly filled with food, along with some other scientific instruments and miscellaneous items.
Su Fan couldn't understand any of it because he didn't recognize the writing of this alien civilization, and neither could Red Queen.
"It seems I must immediately recruit some experts in linguistics. Otherwise, relying solely on Red Queen won't be enough to decipher this alien script," Su Fan resolved.
With that, Su Fan finished his brief exploration of the spaceship and left, having already arranged for professional personnel to continue the exploration and research.
Additionally, he called the Great Elder and asked him to arrange for some archaeologists and linguistic deciphering experts to go to the Nanshan Base.
These experts would arrive on the Moon via Androids to decipher and study the text and culture of the alien spaceship. To increase their deciphering speed, Su Fan had Red Queen assist these old scholars.
...
Time is like flowing water; you cannot grasp it, and it does not linger for you.
A month later, thanks to the research of numerous experts and the powerful computing assistance of Red Queen, the deciphering work on the alien spaceship was successfully completed.
In a small conference room at the Nanshan Base.
Su Fan, the Great Elder, Zhou Xiaoxiao, and Zhang Qiling were holding a meeting in the conference room.
Zhang Qiling stood in front of the large screen in the conference room, reporting on the recent research and deciphering work regarding the alien spaceship.
"Chairman Su, Great Elder, President Zhang, I will now introduce this newly discovered—and currently only—alien civilization!" Zhang Qiling said solemnly.
"First, after discussions with Chairman Su, we have named this alien civilization the Lizardman Civilization."
"The reason we call it the Lizardman Civilization is that, through paleontologists reconstructing the alien skeletons and utilizing the remaining data in the spaceship, we have successfully restored their appearance while they were alive."
Zhang Qiling pressed the remote control in his hand, switching the image on the large screen. A picture of a ferocious and terrifying Lizardman appeared before the eyes of Su Fan and the others.
"Lizardmen generally resemble upright lizards, with a height of approximately 1.4 to 1.6 meters, which is shorter than humans."
"Unlike humans, Lizardmen have four arms and two legs, though their upper body proportion is larger, and their lower body proportion is smaller."
"Their legs are short, thick, and powerful. Of their four arms, the upper two are thick and long, while the lower two are thin and long."
"Their feet only have four toes, and their hands have only three fingers."
"Their skin is a strange dark red, like magma."
"The eyes of the Lizardmen are a strange yellow with vertical pupils, like a snake's eyes."
"Their noses are large and covered in densely packed, tiny nostrils."
"Their mouths are even larger, occupying a full half of their face. When opened, they can swallow their own heads!"
"Their teeth are extremely sharp; the front teeth are like a shark's, with several rows, while the back teeth are like a monkey's, capable of grinding food."
"Lizardmen do not have ears, but according to the remaining data and the judgment of biologists, their hearing is extremely developed—at least much more developed than humans!"
Zhang Qiling continued his presentation.
"The above is an introduction to the physical characteristics of the Lizardmen. Next, we will talk about the Lizardman Civilization established by the Lizardmen!"
"The Lizardman Civilization is a Level 1 Civilization in the Proxima Centauri star system; they are a troglodytic race." Zhang Qiling switched the image on the large screen to a view of the starry sky.
"Through astronomical telescopes, we know that the closest star system to our Solar System is the Proxima Centauri star system, which is a complex triple-star system."
"Among them, Proxima Centauri is a yellow dwarf star, smaller than the Sun, and also has a lower temperature and lower radiation than the Sun."
"It also has two companion stars, Alpha Centauri A and Alpha Centauri B. These two stars form a binary system, orbiting a common center of mass."
"Proxima Centauri is only 4.2 light-years away from Blue Star and is recognized as the closest star to Blue Star."
"It has two planets, Proxima Centauri b and Proxima Centauri c."
"Among them, Proxima Centauri b is a terrestrial planet. Although it is only 0.05 astronomical units away from Proxima Centauri, because Proxima Centauri's size and temperature are far smaller than Blue Star, scientists infer that it is still possible for it to have liquid water."
Although the few people in the conference room already knew these basics, they still listened with great interest.
"The Lizardman Civilization we are talking about today is the civilization that comes from Proxima Centauri b."
"The Lizardman Civilization lives underground, communicating through interconnected underground caves."
"Through Chairman Su's introduction, we know that their civilization has reached the Level 1 Civilization level in the universe."
"A Level 1 Civilization is stronger than the former Blue Star, but now, it cannot be compared to us at all."
"Moreover, theoretically speaking, a Level 1 Civilization generally operates within its planetary system, or at most wanders around within its star system."
"After all, the speed limit holds them back tightly; who knows when they would ever fly out of their star system." Zhang Qiling's expression became increasingly serious.
"So, that brings us to a key question: how did the Lizardman Civilization on Proxima Centauri b, 4.2 light-years away from Blue Star, manage to come to the Moon of Blue Star in such slow-moving spaceships?"
