146: The boss's wife is not the boss's wife

Motion Capture is a very tedious process, both for humans and even more so for animals, let alone having Little Lion complete specific movements.

"Imagine if we used Motion Capture for all the monsters," a game monster designer from Zulong Studio said while watching Little Lion perform various actions.

"Stop that thought immediately," someone nearby said.

After two consecutive hours, Little Lion finally grew impatient, ran to Mother Xiaoli, and burrowed into her arms, refusing to come out.

"That's it for today." Li Qing was already surprised that it had cooperated for two hours; after all, it was a cat, not a human.

"Mother Xiaoli, I'll take you on a tour of the company," Shu Chang invited Liu Xiaoli.

"Alright." Liu Xiaoli also wanted to see the company.

Li Xiuwu was invited by Li Qing to see the preliminary composite clips.

In Shu Chang's footage, she shuttled through a golden Euphrates poplar forest, surrounded by a Thorn Aura, casting Voodoo Spells to clear demonic monsters. Holding a long Banner Staff, she looked petite and agile.

In Liu Yifei's footage, she was praying in a bamboo forest. The morning mist was hazy, and the sunlight filtering through created the Tyndall effect, making her appear even more holy.

The light and shadow effects of the spells were perfectly integrated into the live-action video.

The quality had already reached the level of a top-tier blockbuster.

Li Xiuwu was somewhat speechless; was this what he had in mind at the time?

"Well done, this is exactly the effect I wanted."

Hearing Li Xiuwu's satisfaction, everyone was immediately encouraged, feeling that their late nights recently hadn't been in vain.

With Li Xiuwu's affirmation, everyone's enthusiasm soared, and production became even more rigorous... "Mother Xiaoli, the staff meals at Dream Time are very famous at Tsinghua University and Peking University. Many students specifically come here to try them when they don't have classes."

"Really?" Liu Xiaoli followed Shu Chang and gained a comprehensive understanding of the company.

Dream Time currently has three licensed games generating profit, with new games in development. The company's scale is already quite large, making it the largest internet company in the Shangdi Technology Park.

"Look over there, those are people from nearby companies. Many studios come to negotiate, wanting Dream Time to expand the cafeteria's size. Even the management of the technology park hopes we expand. President Chi has been considering it."

The cafeteria was also one of the prides of Dream Time.

Liu Xiaoli found it interesting; it was the first time she had heard of a company being proud of its cafeteria rather than its works. Her interest was piqued by Shu Chang's description.

"I'll have to give it a good taste then."

"Mhm, what would you like to eat, Mother Xiaoli?" Shu Chang took Liu Xiaoli to get food.

"Hello Shu Chang, you're early today." Zhao Xiaofang, who was serving food in the cafeteria, knew Shu Chang. Hearing her call the woman in front of her 'Mother', he couldn't help but look closely.

Since Shu Chang called her 'Mother', she was either the boss's biological mother or the boss's mother-in-law; he had to take good care of her.

"Ma'am, is there anything you like? If you don't like any of these, we can stir-fry something fresh for you."

"No need, I'll just have a little of whatever." Liu Xiaoli pointed at a few dishes and took some of each.

Shu Chang took out her employee card to pay.

"No need, just put it on the kitchen's tab," the young man serving the food quickly declined.

Shu Chang didn't mind and took the food to find a seat.

"You brat, how long have you been working here to dare charge things to the account like that? Even the boss has to pay for his meals."

A tall, stout chef came over and slapped Zhao Xiaofang on the head.

"Master Gao, that might be the boss's mother," Zhao Xiaofang whispered.

"In this cafeteria, except for our kitchen staff, even the boss's wife has to pay!"

"Master Gao, it's not the boss's wife, it's the boss's mother."

"Huh?" Gao Yuan looked down and saw Liu Xiaoli chatting and laughing with Shu Chang.

He turned back to Zhao Xiaofang and said, "Starting tomorrow, all the shredding work is yours until I'm satisfied."

"You got it!" Zhao Xiaofang said with a look of surprise.

Zulong Studio gathered the company's technical staff to work through the night. Finally, they mixed in the song "Perfect World" performed by Li Xiuwu himself and finished rendering the twelve-minute and forty-seven-second live-action CG.

After consulting with Guo Fan, Ning Hao, and Li Qing, they finally decided to hold the screening at Golden Culture, which had a fully equipped screening room.

Li Xiuwu, Shu Chang, and Liu Yifei were invited over.

Inside the massive screening room of Golden Culture, Chi Yufeng, Han Zheng, Li Qing, and other executives from Dream Time, along with Ding Yan, Wu Jia, and other executives from Golden Culture, all came to watch the show.

The lights in the screening room dimmed, and the screen lit up.

It opened with a wide-angle bird's-eye view of the Perfect Continent. The camera plummeted rapidly through the clouds, appearing over Etherblade City, where sword immortals were soaring on their swords.

"I'm in this too?" Li Xiuwu was surprised; he didn't remember filming this scene.

Guo Fan explained, "We took a segment from the footage of 'Chinese Paladin' and synthesized a CG for the Human race's Blademaster class."

Li Xiuwu nodded without saying anything.

The camera followed Li Xiuwu's sword-riding figure, sweeping over mountains, rivers, cities, and villages, as well as flying monsters faintly visible in the sea of clouds.

His sword light flew into the territory of the Untamed race, where figures of the Untamed could be seen running through the forests on the ground.

A Barbarian warrior was fighting a demonic Untamed, transforming into a white tiger during the battle to tear at the monster.

Li Xiuwu's sword light finally arrived at the Untamed capital, City of the Lost, looked down upon the great city, and finally landed to hand a letter from a Human Elder to the Elder of the City of the Lost.

His sword light took to the skies again, passing over plateaus, forests, rivers, and lakes until he reached the territory of the Winged Elves, where archers were battling demonic creatures.

Li Xiuwu first looked down at the Winged Elves' capital, City of the Plume, and likewise delivered a letter to the Winged Elf Elder.

One story segment ended, and the next began.

After reading the letter, the Winged Elf Elder decided to summon the Winged Elf cultivators. The camera turned to the Feather Spirit played by Liu Yifei.

She was cultivating in Yizhu Village within the Winged Elves' territory. Sunlight pierced through the morning mist covering the sea of bamboo, shining on her and making her look holy and beautiful.

Suddenly, a discordant sound appeared; a demonic creature disturbed the peace of the bamboo forest as a demonic wolf burst in.

Liu Yifei's eyes snapped open. Seeing the demonic wolf, she took out a short staff and raised her hand to release a tornado.

Immediately following was a feathered arrow, and finally, a chain of lightning was released, killing the demonic wolf.

She stood there and said, "The activity range of the demonic monsters is getting larger and larger."

Just then, a flying message from the Elder arrived. Liu Yifei opened it, and after reading, she spread her wings and soared into the air toward the City of the Plume.

She received a mission from the Elder to go to Ancestral Dragon City.

The screen went dark and then lit up again. The Fox Spirit Shu Chang was playing in a golden Euphrates poplar forest. She scooped up a golden leaf and tossed it into the air with a joyful movement, accompanied by an agile and cute little bear pet.

Shu Chang walked through the Euphrates poplar forest to the lakeside. The lake reflected the golden forest. Shu Chang sat on a rock by the shore, took off her shoes, put her clean white feet into the water, exuding a sense of innocence and romance.

Suddenly, a surge appeared in the water, pulling Shu Chang in. The pet bear, unable to enter the water, paced anxiously by the shore.
