166: New allies gather

Ryan led a portion of the cavalry south. Behind the newly risen wall of mist, over 100 arrows shot towards the dozens of injured Gnolls.

After harvesting this wave of lives, the Young Duke controlled the mist wall, leading 100 cavalrymen to continue advancing south, delivering fatal arrows to the Gnolls injured by the explosion of three Pearl Dragon mirror images.

By the time they returned to the lake, Fiona, leading six other Forest Nymphs, along with Tree Person Ondom and Dors Green Crown, had entered the mist.

After Ryan granted visual access to these eight newly added combat units, he added two independent, semi-circular mist defense walls outside the mist where they were hiding.

Between the three sections of mist, there were two isolation zones, each twenty meters wide.

Fiona introduced her friends from the forest to Ryan.

Forest Nymphs Brayla, Calantha, and Mircea were her sisters from the northern, eastern, and southern parts of her territory, respectively, while the other two, Adania and Eloise, came from Cloud Mist Peak.

Tree Person Ondom was an old acquaintance; his companion Dors Green Crown usually herded trees on Cloud Mist Mountain and was even taller than Ondom.

They hadn't seen each other for a long time either.

Tree Person Dors had previously fallen out with Ondom over the matter of tree seeds.

Her willingness to help this time was largely due to hearing that Ondom had entrusted the tree seeds to Ryan to find a cure in the outside world.

"You... hello! Ry...an...Lord...hoo...roo..., how is the...seal...magic...on the...tree seeds? Hoo...roo..." Dors's voice was equally deep and slow.

The Young Duke took out two small tree seeds from his system space and held them in his palm.

"I haven't found anyone who can break the seal yet," Ryan said, "but after dealing with the Gnolls and the planar rift, later this year, I plan to go to more distant places to inquire."

Dors took the tree seeds and stood up next to Ondom, both Tree Persons looking at the tree seeds with affection.

At this moment, they looked more like a couple.

After a long time, Tree Person Dors returned the tree seeds to Ryan, telling him to keep them safe.

The Young Duke nodded in agreement.

Half an hour later, dozens of Gnolls from the south gathered again and charged towards the mist.

Fortunately, there were no spellcasters among them this time.

Ryan did not let the Forest Nymphs act, only using a portion of the cavalry archers and Tree Person Ondom, combined with the mist's confinement, taking about ten minutes to eliminate the new wave of attacking Gnolls.

By noon, Lilian finally arrived with the other Water Sprites.

There were fifteen of them, including herself.

Dozens of nearly naked, extremely beautiful or charming women stood by the lake, and the Young Duke noticed many young cavalrymen starting to get nosebleeds.

He waved his hand, isolating the vision of most of the lower-ranking soldiers.

Lilian began to introduce them one by one.

First was the owner of this lake, the Lake Water Sprite Aqualys, and the Waterfall Water Sprite Cascadia from the top of Cloud Mist Peak.

Then came the twelve Siren tribes from the northern waters of Black Claw Fortress.

Their chieftain, Celinsella, looked at Ryan and said, "Your scent is somewhat familiar. Have we met somewhere?"

The Young Duke's mind raced: The northern waters of Black Claw Fortress? Could it be the Siren group on the beach outside that cave when he first transmigrated?

"We shouldn't have met," the boy said, "Thank you all for coming to help us fight against the Gnoll threat!"

He had only heard the sounds of fighting at the time and had indeed not met any Sirens, Ryan thought to himself.

Sally, Resi, and five other Forest Nymphs under the Young Duke, as well as Vera and two other Water Sprites, also enthusiastically came over to greet their sisters.

Some of them had known each other before.

And Druid Vivofenson and others also came forward to greet the female spirits and told the two Tree Persons that two more Tree Persons from the main army would arrive in three days.

Seeing that everyone had arrived, the Young Duke began to discuss with the leaders how to rescue the creatures of Cloud Mist Peak and attack Quagmire Fortress.

These people had no military minds, only staring fixedly at Ryan.

The boy saw the situation and thought, 'Alright, I'll state my ideas first.'

"Here, our cavalry team has 230 people, and the main army behind us has another 848 people.

Fiona and Lilian brought people, plus yourselves, making a total of 23 people.

So, the total number of Allied Forces is now 1101 people.

Our original plan was to follow Wan'an Highway, circling from here to the foot of Cloud Mist Peak.

But from the current situation, this direction is the direction of a large number of Gnolls' movement.

If we let them escape, it will be more difficult to find their traces later.

I suggest we slowly advance south from here, facing the direction from which the Gnolls are coming.

And in three days, the main army will be able to rendezvous with us.

Here..."

The Young Duke pointed to the border of the forest north of Cloud Mist Peak on the map.

"After the rendezvous, the Allied Forces, under the cover of my mist, will begin to enter the forest and sweep out the Gnolls.

During the sweep, we will first approach here, and my people will build a wizard fortress here to block the entrance for Gnolls to enter Cloud Mist Peak from this point.

After we have cleared out the Gnolls inside Cloud Mist Peak, through my magic, all Allied Forces will enter Saint Cavell Valley from this fortress, and then advance towards Quagmire Fortress."

"Very good, let's do it!" Fiona lightly clapped her left palm with her right fist, "Ryan, you are truly a genius!"

The others also responded one after another.

"These 253 of us will be divided into 3 groups.

The first group will hunt Gnolls south of the mist, the second group will guard other directions, and the third group will rest.

We'll rotate every 8 hours.

This way, we can continuously hunt the Gnolls coming from the south, appearing endlessly, 24 hours a day."

"Very good! Let's do it!"

"Agreed!"

"Agreed!"

Everyone expressed their approval.

"Duke, when you rest, the mist will be unguided. I'm afraid the southward advance will have to pause," the Holy Knight said.

"Hmm, during my 8 hours of sleep, the southward advance can pause. At that time, the hunting party only needs to kill the Gnolls that try to enter the mist."

Everyone nodded.

Next, they all discussed who should be grouped with whom.
