121: Dilemma

The Oasis is nearby.

Ten thousand beasts charging!

All this way, it turns out Jackson deliberately led the Orc army here.

Sardin looked at the Wasteland, the terrifying giant beasts surging everywhere, and large numbers of Thunderbirds screeching in the sky. If these troops had been willing to help him attack the capital Ke City back then, they would have surely captured it in one fell swoop.

But they hid themselves, waiting for me to suffer defeat.

Could it be!

Were they thinking that Duoduo and I would fight until both sides were injured, and then when I lost my army, they would have no bargaining chips?

Sardin wasn't stupid either; he slowly sorted out all the events.

But at this moment, he had no choice. If he didn't go along with Jackson now, these Minotaur people might all be annihilated.

For the first time, Sardin felt a trace of regret about the rebellion, and his heart felt a bit bitter.

His ambition for supremacy gradually faded, and he began to consider the future survival of the Minotaur race.

Actually, Sardin somewhat wronged Jackson. The Orcs' power was important, but for a Lord, crystal was obviously more important. These Orc armies dared not leave the Oasis too far.

The ground was shaking.

Duoduo and Hua Mulan both stood on top of the Armored Vehicle, watching the countless terrifying giant beasts surrounding them.

Flamethrower mechs and Orc priests guarded the outermost layer, Floating Turret and axe throwers were in the middle, and heavy cannons were surrounded in the very center.

Han Huohuo looked at the sky with worry.

A large flock of Thunderbirds blocked the sky. Northern Darkness had already landed back next to the Armored Vehicle. No matter how strong Northern Darkness was, one young bird could not fight against so many Thunderbirds on the other side.

Besides the Thunderbirds, there were also large numbers of terrifying bats.

These bats had huge bodies, their wings were covered in red spots, and they looked very frightening.

Snow rhinos, monsters weighing dozens of tons, made the ground shake as they advanced. There were also countless Desert venomous scorpions, rock lizards, and Desert vipers.

Some of the rock lizards were trying to sneak closer to the defense line.

Hua Mulan directly sent out planes to bomb these lizards back.

The lizards were here to destroy the defensive structures; their combat power was average.

Hua Mulan sighed, 'We brought too few Plasma Cannons this time so as not to affect Ke City's defense. If we had a few hundred cannons here, these beasts wouldn't be worth mentioning.'

Han Huohuo gave a bitter smile, 'There are also Thunderbirds and bats in the sky. Those things probably couldn't be stopped by artillery alone.'

It's too terrifying!

There was almost no buffer period; neither side wasted words, and the brutal battle began directly.

Fortunately, the Orc position was already built, otherwise, it would have been big trouble.

The guys commanding these beasts from behind also couldn't figure out the combat strength of the Orc army and the machine army, so at first, they only cautiously probed.

Probing back and forth, the two sides were entangled for a whole day.

Fortunately, these beasts also had a huge weakness: they lacked long-range combat capability. Only the venomous scorpions could spray poison, but their range was very short.

The enemy probably worried about too many casualties and didn't launch a strong attack.

Both the Thunderbirds and the bats were actually very afraid of the flamethrower soldiers and dared not directly approach the position.

Duoduo walked over, 'Lord Barbarian King, they want to trap us here to death. We came lightly equipped, and we don't have much food!'

Han Huohuo nodded, indicating he knew.

Suddenly, he turned and asked Hua Mulan and Sophia, 'Do you think the enemy has sent all their troops?'

Hua Mulan thought for a moment, 'Even if not all their troops, it should be the vast majority. Defeating us in one fell swoop would be the best choice. I think they want to swallow us whole.'

The radar that went out to probe just now hasn't returned.

Under Han Huohuo's command, it was still probing outwards and constantly sending back information.

Beep!

The radar sent back a signal!

Han Huohuo looked at the radar signal and was delighted. He finally found the enemy's Main Camp, the Oasis!

On the edge of the battlefield of the gods.

Han Huohuo was contemplating countermeasures in his mind.

There were too many enemies. Defending now, they could barely hold on. If they charged over and fought this group of beasts directly on the Wasteland, even if all the mechs from Tongtian City were called over, it would be a mutually destructive outcome.

The Oasis was by the winding river, where there was a Desert lake, and next to it was the battlefield of the gods.

What a truly good place!

Rich in minerals and home to many types of beasts.

Sophia stared at Han Huohuo, 'Brother, why do I feel like you're thinking about something particularly evil?'

Han Huohuo's mouth was crooked, revealing a cold smile. Hearing Sophia say this, he quickly became serious, thinking he had lost his composure.

He difficultly moved his gaze back from Sophia's chest.

'I want to break through the encirclement alone. It should be possible, right?'

'Not easy!'

Hua Mulan didn't know why Han Huohuo was considering this question.

'If it were just the beasts on the ground, the possibility would be high, but there are still so many Thunderbirds and bats in the sky! Even if you fought your way through the camp, you wouldn't escape the Thunderbirds' pursuit.'

Han Huohuo thought for a moment; that made sense.

He walked to the riverbank and tested the water depth.

The water was very shallow; the deepest part barely reached his knees.

The key was that the water was too clear; people couldn't hide in it at all. It was crystal clear to the bottom.

Giving up on escaping through the water, Han Huohuo still returned to the Armored Vehicle, thought for a while, and gradually came up with an idea.

He called Duoduo, Hua Mulan, and Sophia over.

'I will try to break out of this encirclement by myself in a bit. You stay here and continue fighting, and just act like nothing happened. Don't worry about me; fight as you should, understood?'

'Huh?' Sophia and Duoduo were both surprised.

'Okay!' Only Hua Mulan didn't think about it at all and immediately accepted the order.

Han Huohuo smiled slightly. He knew Duoduo and Sophia both suspected he was trying to escape. Only Hua Mulan truly trusted him unconditionally.

He didn't break through this subtle emotion and explained, 'I'm going to find a powerful reinforcement for you. If you see the beasts on the other side in disarray, remember to pursue Sardin and ignore these beasts!'

'Reinforcements?' Duoduo and Sophia were both half-believing and half-doubting. Only Hua Mulan nodded repeatedly, indicating that there was absolutely no problem.

Han Huohuo soaked his clothes with water and then rubbed himself in the dirt on the ground until he was covered in mud.

Now, if he lay on the Wasteland, he would look exactly like a pile of mud, completely indistinguishable.

The Wasteland was not entirely flat; there were small ditches, small pits, and small mounds everywhere.

After Han Huohuo finished giving instructions, he took another look at Hua Mulan. Hua Mulan secretly nodded, indicating that she could control the situation and told him to boldly try.

Although Hua Mulan didn't know exactly what Han Huohuo wanted to do, she just unconditionally trusted her Lord.

Such a General is extremely rare.

It makes one feel at ease.
