282: Castle in the Sky
Thor clutched his head, feeling a slight pain. He could no longer recall anything, as if the ancient events had caused significant damage to his memory.
Han Huohuo pondered Thor's dream in a daze. He remembered that in his mission, the top-tier Zergs were Eleventh Tier. How many tiers were those ancient Gods?
Eleventh Tier, Planetary Level!
Han Huohuo assigned a tier to the Zerg that was as large as a planet.
"Caw! Caw!"
A black crow flew over, but the Main Camp had a protective barrier, so it couldn't land in the courtyard and cried out anxiously in the air.
Han Huohuo looked up and realized it was an Undead crow.
He temporarily deactivated the protective barrier, and the crow landed on Han Huohuo's desk.
An Undead letter was tied to the crow's ankle.
Han Huohuo took the letter; it was from Sandru.
There were only a few words.
"Angels are rampant. I wish to deal with the Angels with you. Is that possible?"
The Undead actually wanted to join forces with him to eliminate the Angels?
These dead people really dared to think big, but wasn't the Mo Family currently battling the Angels on the Angel front? Could it be that they were struggling?
Han Huohuo thought for a moment and wrote a reply.
Only one word.
"Possible!"
The Undead were true villains, and the Angels were hypocrites. Han Huohuo particularly disliked the Angel race. Tens of millions of humans sacrificed in blood—who taught them how to open the rift?
"Don't overthink it. I was just asking. You should go back and rest first." Han Huohuo saw that Thor's face was very pale and comforted him.
Thor cupped his hands and turned to leave.
Han Huohuo then asked Liu Qiang to invite Mr. Bai over.
After the war began, Mr. Bai became the Mo Family's ambassador, almost permanently residing in Tongtian City. All communication with the Mo Family was handled through Mr. Bai.
As soon as Mr. Bai sat down, Han Huohuo directly asked, "Mr. Bai, how is the front line of your battle with the Angels now?"
Mr. Bai hesitated slightly, but he was an honest man and still vaguely said, "I heard that the front line has slowed down, and there hasn't been much fighting between the two sides recently."
Han Huohuo immediately understood. No wonder the Undead came to him for help; it turned out the Mo Family had disengaged from the Angels to preserve their strength.
From the Mo Family's perspective, this was very reasonable. How good would it be to watch the Undead and Angels fight fiercely while they watched from the sidelines?
But Han Huohuo vaguely felt something was amiss.
"I'd like to meet Mozi. I wonder if the Old Emperor is available?"
"I'll go ask!"
A few days later, Mozi replied, agreeing, but he was too busy to come to Tongtian City. He told Mr. Bai to take Han Huohuo directly to Sky City by airship.
Han Huohuo was a little nervous and also a little surprised.
Not just anyone could enter the Mo Family's Sky City.
Mr. Bai's airship was small, reflecting his status as an ordinary staff member in the Mo Family.
It was Han Huohuo's first time riding an airship. Drifting with the wind, swaying in the sky, it was actually quite frightening.
"How safe is this airship? Will it not fall?"
"To tell you the truth, Lord, when our Mo Family disciples were children, their first lesson was airship escape class. They learned common sense on how to save themselves if the airship had an accident. If they failed this class, they weren't allowed to own their own airship." Mr. Bai seemed to be recalling his school days, his face full of longing.
Han Huohuo's facial muscles were a bit stiff: "Indeed, this lesson is very important."
Mr. Bai nodded: "Of course. That's experience gained from thousands of years of the Mo Family, where countless people have fallen to their deaths. These are very valuable lessons."
Han Huohuo suddenly felt very uneasy about riding the airship.
Fortunately, he had already undergone his third transformation, so even falling from ten thousand meters wouldn't kill him. He comforted himself that he wasn't afraid, and the airship soared with the wind.
After flying for a while in the sky, Sky City was already in sight. This city was not fixed in one location and often flew around. Moreover, Sky City was surrounded by clouds and mist, so no one knew where it was. Perhaps, a cloud passing overhead was Sky City passing by.
Fortunately, Mr. Bai's piloting skills were good, and the airship didn't encounter any danger. Compared to the massive Sky City, the airship was like a toy airplane.
Sky City had a huge airport. After Mr. Bai's airship docked, three Grand Arcanists in Red personally received Han Huohuo at the port.
Mozi was more of a spiritual symbol and generally didn't handle affairs. These Grand Arcanists in Red were the true decision-makers of the Mo Family.
They had shown Han Huohuo ample respect.
A hovercar took Han Huohuo to the highest point of Sky City, where there was a white palace, Mozi's Palace.
Upon entering the palace, he saw various puppets: some were carrying books, some were cleaning, and some puppet guards were patrolling.
Truly worthy of the Mo Family.
The palace of a Grandmaster of puppetry.
"Please!"
The group walked to the highest point of the palace, where there was a large platform. Mozi had already set up a table with various fresh fruits and exquisite pastries.
The Old Emperor was in good spirits, sitting there gazing into the distance. Han Huohuo followed the Old Emperor's gaze but could only see the stars in the sky and the mist in front of him, not knowing what he was looking at.
"We meet again!" The Old Emperor turned his head and said with a smile.
"Indeed, greetings, Lord Mozi." Han Huohuo, out of politeness and respect for a strong individual, nodded and bowed.
"Oh, young man, you've improved again? Your strength is progressing so fast?" Mozi instantly noticed that Han Huohuo had advanced again.
Han Huohuo said with a double meaning, "I have no choice; I'm forced into it. I can't not be strong."
Mozi laughed: "Sit down. I like you, little fellow; you're interesting. Tell me, what do you need to see me about?"
Han Huohuo sat on the other side of the table, opposite Mozi, while the three Grand Arcanists sat beside Mozi.
"I want to discuss attacking the Angels together with you."
"Oh, you want to participate in the war too?"
"Yes!"
Mozi was a little surprised. He looked at Han Huohuo, thought for a moment, and quietly called a nearby attendant: "Call Jiemu over."
The attendant nodded and turned to fetch him.
Mozi smiled: "I apologize, I'm not entirely clear on the current situation at the front line. Jiemu is the front-line commander; you can discuss it with him later."
Han Huohuo was speechless; this Old Emperor truly was a hands-off manager who didn't bother with anything.
Soon, Jiemu arrived, first bowing to Mozi. Mozi gestured for him to sit down.
Once Jiemu was seated beside the Grand Arcanists in Red, Han Huohuo reiterated his request.
Mozi looked at Jiemu.
Jiemu frowned and explained to Mozi: "Lord Mozi, the battle between the Angels and the Undead is extremely fierce right now. We have retreated several tens of miles and are observing their fight. I believe now is a good time to sit back and watch the tigers fight; it's not suitable to send troops."
What he said made a lot of sense, and Mozi nodded repeatedly. Jiemu felt relieved, sensing that Mozi supported him.
Then Mozi turned to Han Huohuo and said, "See? Jiemu makes a good point, doesn't he?"
