277: Kill that demon
“You have killed all the people and Gods in this world. Congratulations, you have obtained the title of Butcher.”
The entire world suddenly plunged into darkness, and black rain fell from the sky.
The God Temple collapsed with a thunderous roar under the collision of immense power. Han Huohuo stood on the highest mountain peak in this world, seeing a world plunged into absolute darkness.
He was a bit puzzled; his mission was clearly completed, so why hadn't the second phase started yet?
As he was thinking, a flash of light startled Han Huohuo.
The surrounding scenery changed, and stars shifted.
The teleportation had begun!
When the radiance dissipated,
Han Huohuo suddenly found himself in a training ground, still holding Lonely Star in his hand, but his clothes had changed.
“Demonstrate the God-Slaying Spear Art, quickly!”
Han Huohuo spun around, exclaiming, “Master?”
Behind him was an Old Emperor, identical to the blacksmith, but he also held a long spear, seemingly teaching him spear techniques.
“Hurry up, you’re going to the northern desert tomorrow. Master needs to test your skills.”
Han Huohuo, reluctantly, demonstrated the Sunflower Manual again.
The Old Emperor was dumbfounded, thinking, who taught him this?
“Master, what’s wrong?”
“It’s nothing, just Master’s old problem, a bit of a heart attack. I’ll be fine after resting.”
“Oh, then how’s my spear technique?”
“Very good, excellent. You’re going to the battlefield tomorrow, be careful.”
The Old Emperor’s face was very grim. He seemed to recall something, quickly grabbed a handful of quick-acting heart pills, and swallowed them. Only then did his mood gradually calm down. He then turned and left, seemingly not wanting to look at Han Huohuo again. Han Huohuo also felt wronged, cursing inwardly, “Damn it, when did you ever teach me the God-Slaying Spear Art?”
Before long, maids and servants came over, each bowing, not daring to breathe, standing all around.
Han Huohuo was delighted; it seemed he was still a Young Master from a prominent family this time.
“I’m hungry, is there anything to eat?”
With a gurgle, his stomach was very uncooperative. A little maid couldn't help but let out a giggle, then immediately became alert, trembling with fear.
Even the surrounding servants were all trembling with fear.
Han Huohuo rubbed his nose. This identity seemed a bit fierce. How did this guy usually treat his servants, to scare everyone like this?
“Go get some food, quickly.”
Han Huohuo naturally didn't mind these trivial matters.
The servants, as if relieved, quickly set up the table, and large fish and meat were soon brought up.
Of course, there was also staple food!
Han Huohuo was starving and sat there, eating eleven steamed buns in a row.
The servants kept their heads down, not daring to look, thinking, why isn't Young Master eating meat today? Did he switch to eating steamed buns?
It was strange to say, but Han Huohuo just found the steamed buns in this world particularly delicious.
The next day, the army set out. Someone brought him armor, and someone guided him. When they arrived at the parade ground, the Grand Marshal was inspecting the troops. Seeing Han Huohuo arrive, he nodded slightly, letting him stand beside him.
The soldiers below all raised their spears and shouted, “General Lonely Star, invincible! Invincible!”
The Grand Marshal patted his shoulder: “Lonely Star, I’m giving you eight hundred cavalry. Your mission is to raid the Barbarians’ rear. Go pick your troops!”
Han Huohuo was not intimidated. He had once commanded a million troops, so this small scene was nothing. He cupped his hands and said, “Good!”
Han Huohuo very seriously picked out eight hundred elite cavalry from the crowd.
With three horses per rider, although there were only eight hundred people, there were over two thousand warhorses, making it quite a grand sight.
The Grand Marshal gave the order!
“Depart!”
War drums sounded, and the army set off. The Empire officially declared war on the Barbarians to the north.
Han Huohuo accepted the order. He wasn't leading the main force; his mission was to break through from the west, then ambush the Barbarians’ rear and cut off their supplies.
The eight hundred elite cavalry were still on the way when the system mission finally appeared.
“Passage Mission Two: Use the Lonely Star long spear to kill the Barbarian King.”
Han Huohuo almost fell off his horse. “Holy crap, aren't I the Barbarian King? Does this mission want me to commit suicide?”
After thinking about it, he finally understood. Okay, in this world, he was clearly on the human side and had nothing to do with the Barbarian King. He also didn't know what the Barbarian King of this world looked like.
Soon, the team entered the desert, and the three armies advanced separately.
This terrain looks a bit familiar?
Han Huohuo suddenly realized that the terrain here was almost identical to his Wasteland. He was delighted and immediately led his troops straight to Ke City.
However, he found that there was no city here at all, only a small Orc tribe.
A group of Orcs, seeing the human cavalry approaching, shouted and rode wolves to fight. Within moments, they were completely wiped out by the eight hundred cavalry.
Wolf cavalry were Tier 2, human cavalry were Tier 6; their combat power was not on the same level at all. Especially since Han Huohuo, although he couldn't use treasures, still had his leadership skills, it was like an adult fighting a child.
When the army swept through, not a blade of grass remained.
Han Huohuo, relying on his memory, charged and killed across this land, all the way to the location of his Snow Wave City.
A great city, whose history no one knew, appeared before his eyes.
Han Huohuo was surprised. He remembered that before Snow Wave City was built, it was just a small Oasis. How could it be a city here?
Although this great city was large in scale, it was surrounded by wooden fences, without sturdy city walls. Han Huohuo saw the Barbarian King's banner from afar.
The soldiers were all shocked, not knowing how General Lonely Star had found this place in the vast desert.
The Barbarian King's court had always been a top secret.
Han Huohuo was also bewildered. He never expected that the Barbarian King of this world was actually at the location of Snow Wave City. What in the world was going on?
The watchtowers had already spotted Han Huohuo, and horns blew in the main camp.
The wooden gates opened, and with a rumbling sound of an earthquake, large groups of Behemoth monsters emerged from the camp, numbering in the hundreds and thousands!
The terrifying Behemoth beasts looked much more formidable than Angels. Although both were Tier 7 units, Behemoth couldn't fly or resurrect, but their destructive power was even stronger than Angels.
In Han Huohuo's era, Behemoth had already left the Barbarians' combat roster, but here, they were still the Barbarians' main force. Behind them, large numbers of wolf cavalry, axe throwers, Orcs, Minotaur, and Cyclops charged together.
Han Huohuo had seen big battles. With a glance, he knew the Barbarian King had roughly 100,000 troops.
Eight hundred against one hundred thousand, the advantage is with me!
When rivals meet, the brave win. Han Huohuo raised Lonely Star and roared, “Kill!”
Innumerable spells were instantly unleashed by Han Huohuo: Great Slow, Great Bloodlust, Great Blessing, Steel Defense.
Han Huohuo charged at the very front, pointing his long spear. An earthquake wave was released in a fan shape, and the ground began to shake. All the Barbarians panicked, and the wooden fences and city walls all collapsed in the earthquake wave.
“Kill Lonely Star!”
“Kill that human Demons!”
