154: Chapter 154 Did I really give you my first kiss?

After a long silence, Jiang Che suddenly chuckled.

"You little girl, watch fewer TV dramas and read fewer novels. Otherwise, letting your imagination run wild all day will affect your studies."

Tang Xinwei seemed a bit unconvinced. As she spoke, she slightly puffed out her chest, looking at Jiang Che with a serious expression, "Senior, am I very young?"

Jiang Che's gaze unconsciously fell upon the area she was deliberately emphasizing. Cough, cough... It seemed, it was indeed a bit bigger than Stinky Girl's.

"You're only eighteen or nineteen, what do you mean not young?" Jiang Che moved his gaze away calmly and said.

"My grandma was even younger than me when she already had my dad."

"Then your grandpa was quite impatient."

Hearing Jiang Che's casual reply, Tang Xinwei flushed and coquettishly said, "Senior~"

"Just kidding, I didn't mean any disrespect."

The two remained silent for a moment, then Tang Xinwei continued, "Senior, Ningning said that you seem to be in a relationship?"

Jiang Che's heart skipped a beat, "Stinky Girl said that? When?"

"Your reaction is very strange. So, is it true?"

Jiang Che's first reaction was that Tang Xinwei was trying to fish for information on behalf of Jiang Ning, but looking closely at her expression, it didn't quite seem like it. Otherwise, he could only say that Tang Xinwei's acting skills were too good.

"What do you think?" Jiang Che threw the question back to her.

After pondering for two seconds, Tang Xinwei shook her head gently.

"Why?"

"Because if you had a girlfriend, Senior, Jiang Ning comes home often, she would have discovered it long ago. Besides, if that were the case, you wouldn't let Jiang Ning live here."

Seeing Jiang Che frown, Tang Xinwei hesitated for two seconds before explaining with some embarrassment, "Because, when you're dating, having someone at home is definitely inconvenient."

Jiang Che was speechless. Do girls these days understand so much?

"Senior, don't overthink it, I'm very well-behaved." Tang Xinwei seemed to see through Jiang Che's thoughts and immediately added.

Jiang Che, caught between laughter and tears, nodded slightly, "Hmm, I can tell."

Tang Xinwei smiled, then picked up the water Jiang Che had poured for her, "Well then, I'm going back to my room to sleep."

"Go ahead."

Tang Xinwei nodded, walked to the door of her room, and just as Jiang Che was preparing to return to his room, this roommate of his sister suddenly stopped, hesitated for a moment, then turned and walked back to Jiang Che's side. With a face full of excitement and gossip, she leaned into his ear and whispered, "Senior, Ningning said she gave her first kiss to you, is it true?"

"??!"

This time, Jiang Che really couldn't keep his composure. Tang Xinwei in front of him had her eyes wide open, her face full of excitement, staring straight at him.

And Jiang Che, with his mind gone blank, moved his lips but couldn't say anything.

Just after the two stared at each other for a few seconds, a lazy voice came from the room nearby: "Weiwei?"

Both of them in the living room were startled. Then, Tang Xinwei, not waiting for Jiang Che's answer, could only whisper, "You're not allowed to say it was me who told you!" Then, she hurriedly ran back to her room.

Jiang Che's head was buzzing, and his body felt as if all its strength had been drained.

Had this secret between him and Stinky Girl been exposed just like that?

Tang Xinwei couldn't have guessed such a thing rashly. The only explanation was... that Stinky Girl had said it herself.

Jiang Che wasn't worried about himself, but rather afraid. Afraid that if more people found out about this, Stinky Girl's situation...

Fortunately, he had interacted with Tang Xinwei quite a few times and had a rough understanding of her. This girl wasn't the type to have a perverse personality; she was actually quite reliable.

Moreover, growing up, although Stinky Girl was mischievous, her eye for making friends was actually quite good. Perhaps, it was just because she had become best friends with Tang Xinwei that... she had let this secret slip?

Jiang Che returned to his room, feeling somewhat uneasy. At the same time, he had a plan in mind: tomorrow morning, he had to find Stinky Girl and have a good talk.

Early the next morning, Jiang Che deliberately got up very early. After buying breakfast and just as he was about to knock on the door, Jiang Ning's door opened.

It was Tang Xinwei who came out, and Jiang Che glanced through the crack in the door to see Stinky Girl still on the bed.

"Senior." The young girl, having her disheveled appearance upon waking seen by a member of the opposite sex, felt instinctively embarrassed, so she greeted him with a blushing face and her head lowered.

"Morning." Jiang Che pretended nothing had happened. Seeing Tang Xinwei about to go into the bathroom to wash up, he continued, "Go ahead and wash up, I'll wake Jiang Ning up."

Tang Xinwei didn't think much of it, gave a hum, and then entered the bathroom nearby.

Jiang Che took the opportunity to walk into Stinky Girl's room. Jiang Ning was sleeping soundly, lying on her side, hugging a pillow, with one leg pressed on top of the quilt.

He called out softly twice, but Jiang Ning just muttered something, then turned her face away and continued sleeping.

Helpless, Jiang Che reached out and simply pinched Jiang Ning's cheek gently.

"Annoying~" Jiang Ning mumbled in a daze.

Jiang Che pinched it again.

This time, Jiang Ning finally opened her eyes, pouting as she muttered, "Weiwei, you're so annoying."

After saying that, she looked at the person by the bed, stunned for a full five seconds before realizing it wasn't Tang Xinwei at all.

"You! Why are you in my room! Where's Weiwei?"

Jiang Ning quickly sat up, pulled her leg back into the quilt, and hurriedly tidied up her somewhat messy pajamas and hair.

"Did you tell Tang Xinwei about what happened between you and me?"

Upon hearing this, Jiang Ning was taken aback for a moment, then her face flushed red, her expression guilty, and she immediately averted her gaze.

"Who, who said that? No, I didn't."

Jiang Che was speechless. This girl, did she really say it?!

He remained silent, staring straight at Jiang Ning. After a full ten seconds, Stinky Girl couldn't take it anymore and muttered in a low voice, "I, I didn't do it on purpose, it's just... I accidentally let her find out."

"Accidentally? How can you be accidental about such a thing?"

"It really was," Jiang Ning had been a bit excited, but looking at the ajar door and listening to the washing sounds from the bathroom outside, she immediately lowered her voice again, "I, I accidentally talked in my sleep and she heard it..."

Jiang Che felt like he was going to be amused to the point of anger. Talking in her sleep? Even a TV drama wouldn't dare to write a plot like this.

"What did you say in your dream?"

Seeing Jiang Che staring straight at her, Jiang Ning's ears grew redder and redder. Then, lacking any confidence, she said, "No, I didn't say anything."

Seeing her like this, Jiang Che's heart immediately chilled by more than half. To make Stinky Girl's face turn this red and have Tang Xinwei find out, it must have been about things like kissing, hugging, or touching, and what's more, the kind that named names.

Jiang Che kept chanting in his heart: This is my sister, this is my sister, don't be angry, don't be angry...

"Besides her, do any other roommates know?"

Jiang Ning was silent for two seconds, "As for roommates... no one else."

Jiang Che breathed a sigh of relief. Thank goodness, if no one else knew then... Just as he thought halfway through, Jiang Che suddenly felt something was wrong, "As for roommates... no one else? What does that mean? What about other people?"

Seeing Jiang Che's expression change, Jiang Ning felt guilty and immediately changed her words, "Other people, also no one else."

Jiang Che knew Stinky Girl's lying expression too well, so seeing her reaction, he immediately knew she wasn't telling the truth.

"Jiang Ning?" Jiang Che called her by her full name.

This time, Jiang Ning was truly scared. With a face full of guilt and panic, after two seconds, she muttered barely audibly, "It seems... there, there is one more."
