8: Chapter 8 You stinky man, don't you dare flirt with my roommate!

In a flash, it was Jiang Ning's seventh day at home.

"Brother, get up."

"What time is it? Let me sleep a little longer."

"Today is the start of school for me, I'm going to be late!"

Jiang Che looked at her with some surprise, then said irritably, "Where would I get a girlfriend? It was about work. I took a leave today to accompany you to school, so I had to make some work arrangements last night and find someone to help handle things."

Jiang Ning, who had been called a Stinky Girl twice by her brother, stared straight at him, then let out a resentful snort, 'accidentally' stepped on Jiang Che's foot, and immediately took off running.

"Stinky Girl! You stepped on me?!"

As arrogant as she was at the beginning, Jiang Ning was equally timid once they arrived at school.

Looking at the magnificent four characters 'Nansu University' before them, Jiang Che turned his head playfully to look at his sister. "Weren't you quite self-righteous just now? If you're so brave, don't hide behind me."

Jiang Ning didn't speak, and just walked in the direction the girl had pointed.

"Hey, Stinky Girl, where are your manners? I'm talking to you, why aren't you answering?"

"Toothache, don't want to talk," Jiang Ning said softly, without stopping her steps.

Jiang Che was stunned, then mumbled to himself, "Did the toothache come on so quickly? Wasn't she fine just now?"

Then, he looked at Jiang Ning, whose small legs were moving quickly ahead. "Hey, Stinky Girl, wait for me. Did you eat too many candies I bought for you these past few days and get a cavity?"

"Hey, if you don't want to talk to me, fine, but why are you glaring at me?"

Jiang Ning's dorm number, 303 in the second group, third building, had already been received via text message from the school yesterday. Compared to Jiang Che's six-person dorm in university, Nansu University's conditions were relatively better for girls, with four-person dorms.

On the first day of school, many girls were accompanied by parents, or had senior students helping with luggage, so the girls' dorm gate was not closed.

After finding the third building, Jiang Che took Jiang Ning upstairs together.

The first day of school was very lively, with new students, parents, and senior students everywhere on the stairs and in the corridors. After going up to the third floor, following the room numbers, the two quickly arrived at 303.

"Hello, my name is Jiang Ning, and I'm also staying here. Are you... a senior?" Jiang Ning asked politely.

The girl waved her hand, her face slightly red. "My name is Chen Shuyan, you can call me Shuyan. I'm also a new student reporting in."

Listening to Shuyan, whose name sounded lovely and whose voice was also pleasant, Jiang Ning nodded, then pointed outside.

"Can he... come in?"

Shuyan had already seen Jiang Che standing outside the door. Hearing Jiang Ning mention him, she nodded slightly.

As soon as Jiang Che stepped into the dorm, before he even had a chance to look around, he heard Shuyan softly say, "Did your boyfriend come with you for the start of school?"

"Oh, there was one before me, but she put her things down and left. Her name is Song Yike. Besides us, only Tang Xinwei hasn't arrived yet."

Jiang Che nodded slightly, then smiled and said, "All of your names are quite pleasant."

The girl named Shuyan was startled, then her face flushed slightly, and she said shyly, "Your sister's name is also very pleasant."

Seeing the two chatting so animatedly, Jiang Ning gave Shuyan a slightly apologetic nod. "Wait for me, I'm going downstairs with my brother to buy something."

With that, she tugged on Jiang Che's sleeve and pulled him out of the dorm, under Shuyan's somewhat bewildered gaze.

"Buy something? Buy what?" Jiang Che asked curiously.

"Hmph, Stinky Man, you're not allowed to flirt with my roommate!"
