360: The Party School is going to hold a basketball tournament.

During the final class of the afternoon, class teacher Li Jiaqiang packed up his lesson plans on the podium and announced, "Students, Vice Principal Yu Jianlin has proposed that we hold a basketball tournament this weekend.

Every class must organize a basketball team to compete in rounds of matches.

The event will last one day. In the morning, two classes will compete. In the afternoon, the winners and losers will face off respectively to determine the champion, runner-up, and third and fourth places.

We shouldn't just focus on improving our knowledge and abilities at the Party School and neglect physical exercise. Only with a healthy and strong physique can we better serve the people.

Today is Monday, and there are five days until Saturday's competition. Starting tomorrow, the final class of each afternoon will be used for team coordination training.

Basketball players can volunteer themselves or recommend other classmates. I hope students with talents in this area will sign up enthusiastically and fight for the honor of the class.

The Class Monitor and the two Vice Class Monitors will be responsible for organizing the specific activities."

Hearing the news announced by Li Jiaqiang, many people were eager to give it a try.

Yang Zhongqiang raised his hand, and Li Jiaqiang asked, "Student Yang Zhongqiang, do you have a question?"

"Teacher, I wanted to ask, if we hold a basketball game, will the only audience members be us students and the Party School staff?

If that's the case, there are too few spectators. Without cheerleaders, there won't be any passion!"

Hearing Yang Zhongqiang's question, many people nodded in agreement.

"I actually overlooked that issue. Thank you for the reminder, Student Yang Zhongqiang.

There is one more detail regarding the day of the competition: on that day, you may invite your family and friends to watch the match.

At noon, the Party School will provide a sumptuous lunch. After the game, you can also take your family and friends to visit where you study and live.

In a moment, students who want to participate in the competition can go to the Class Monitor to sign up.

The focus is on participation. Everyone must report their height, weight, and shoe size. The logistics department will provide sports uniforms and shoes for free."

After saying this, Li Jiaqiang left with a smile.

After Li Jiaqiang left, the students who wanted to sign up began talking all at once, their enthusiasm quite high.

Seeing this, Lin Zifeng clapped his hands to get everyone's attention before speaking: "Classmates, didn't the teacher just say? The focus is on participation.

How about this: over the next few days, we'll spend the last class on the basketball court. We'll see who has the best skills, and everyone will recommend the starting players together.

We'll recommend five starters, and the remaining twenty-six students will be substitutes.

This way, it's fair and just. Every student in our class will be a member of the basketball team. What do you all think?"

"That's a great idea! All the students in our class get to participate. If you want to be a starter, you have to rely on your own ability and see how your skills measure up."

Yang Zhongqiang was the first to speak out in support.

"Basketball games are very physically demanding. Even if you don't become a starter, you'll still have a chance to play. I'm all for it."

Wang Li followed closely behind in support.

The other students also voiced their support, so the matter was decided.

Afterward, Wang Li and Jiang Shuhua, the two Vice Class Monitors, began taking responsibility for recording everyone's height, weight, and shoe size.

More than half an hour later, everyone walked out of the classroom in small groups and headed toward the dormitory building.

Yang Zhongqiang, Wang Li, Zhang Chinglei, and Lin Zifeng walked together. Yang Zhongqiang said with a smile, "Zifeng, you truly are worthy of being a Municipal Party Secretary!

Your reaction is so fast; you thought of such a good idea in an instant.

Otherwise, with so many students wanting to be players, it would have been a real headache to decide who gets to play and who doesn't. You might have even offended people.

Now the whole class are players, the ones with the best skills go first, and the whole class recommends them together. This matter was solved perfectly."

"Zhongqiang is right. I was getting a bit of a headache seeing so many students wanting to sign up just now. Now everyone is happy."

Wang Li echoed.

"Director Yang, Director Wang, Zifeng's mind works fast. Even though he's several years younger than us, he's definitely the best choice for Class Monitor.

He is a recognized political rising star in our Huanan Province! How could a small matter like this stump him?"

Zhang Chinglei said with a chuckle.

"You three brothers should stop praising me. This is nothing! If you keep praising me, I'll get a big head. If I float away into the sky, will you be responsible?"

Lin Zifeng said jokingly.

Hearing his playful words, the three of them couldn't help but laugh.

After the laughter subsided, Zhang Chinglei spoke again: "Director Yang, Director Wang, we can invite family and friends for this competition.

Not only can they watch the match, but they can also visit our dorms, classrooms, and the library.

Zifeng and my homes are far away in Huanan Province, so we can't invite our family and friends. You two should invite more people to come and cheer us on!"

"Minister Zhang, there's something you don't know. Our great Class Monitor has friends in Beijing, and a stunningly beautiful one at that."

Yang Zhongqiang first dropped this piece of gossip, then looked at Lin Zifeng and said, "Zifeng, are you going to invite Yanran and Xiao Liang?

If you invite the siblings, they will definitely be very happy and will certainly come eagerly.

Last weekend, Yanran and the others asked you out for a small gathering, but you refused. Now that there's an opportunity like this, you should invite them!"

"Aren't they your cousins? Isn't your relationship closer than mine? They are your relatives; wouldn't it be more logical for you to invite them?"

Lin Zifeng said with a smile.

Hearing their conversation, Wang Li picked up the thread and said, "Zhongqiang, are you and Zifeng talking about that Eldest Miss Li of the Li family, Li Yanran, who is famous throughout Beijing?

I know Eldest Miss Li is your cousin, but they say she doesn't like attending lively events. Many young masters in Beijing are her pursuers.

Many people would spend a fortune just to have dinner with her, but they can't fulfill that wish.

Could it be that Eldest Miss Li is Zifeng's friend? And as long as Zifeng invites her, she'll actually come here to watch a game?"

"To be precise, she's not just a friend, but a very good friend.

As long as Zifeng says the word, she will one hundred percent show up."

Yang Zhongqiang said with a face full of certainty.

Hearing the news from Yang Zhongqiang, Wang Li looked at Lin Zifeng with an expression of disbelief and said excitedly, "I couldn't tell, Zifeng!

Eldest Miss Li is famously cold and aloof, a proper 'rich and beautiful' lady. I didn't expect your relationship with her to be so good that you could call her over with a single phone call.

If those young masters who love her from afar knew, they would definitely cough up blood from jealousy."
