By the time Lin Zifeng and Li Yanran woke up the next day, it was already almost nine o'clock.

"My title as class monitor was just a name. Even if they gave me power, do you think I would use it?"

"There wasn't much for me to do; I only played a bit of a role during that basketball tournament organized by the Party School."

Chen Yuxi nodded and said, "Even so, your three-month stint at the Central Party School was very fruitful!"

"I heard from Dad that the economics paper you wrote has already been distributed to the Provincial Leader. Dad is happy to have such an outstanding Son-in-law, and I'm proud to have such a husband."

After getting out of the car, they headed upstairs together.

"Hubby, today is Saturday. Knowing you were coming back today, Mom and Dad came over right after lunch."

They're planning to have dinner with you tonight."

Chen Yuxi said as she went upstairs.

Hearing what Chen Yuxi said, Lin Zifeng knew that Chen Haotian wouldn't be at kindergarten today either. With both children at home, his pace involuntarily quickened.

Facing his own family, he didn't need to be as humble as he would be with outsiders.

The family chatted for over an hour before Chen Yuanhua called Zifeng to the Study. Li Jing took the two children to play, and The two sisters went to the kitchen together to prepare dinner.
