Time soon arrived at Friday afternoon. After Lin Zifeng got off work, he took Chen Yuxi and their daughter to his parents' house for dinner.

Since their family of three was going to the Provincial Capital tomorrow, they went over for dinner specifically to tell his parents in person.

Chen Yuqing said with a laugh.

"Go on with you! Always teasing me. Even though I'm Yuxi's sister and what’s between us is an open secret in the family, I still feel a bit embarrassed being caught by Yuxi while talking to you privately."

Chen Yuqing said coquettishly.

"You women are truly strange. When we lived in the same house, you dared to pull me into your bedroom, but now that we're just on a video call, what's there to be embarrassed about?"

The two chatted for over ten minutes before hanging up the video call; after all, they would be seeing each other tomorrow.

Another half hour passed, and Chen Yuxi walked into the room wearing her pajamas. She said, "Go take a bath, Hubby. You have to drive a long distance tomorrow! We need to rest a bit earlier today."

Lin Zifeng gave a word of agreement, got off the bed to take the pajamas Chen Yuxi handed him, and then walked out of the bedroom.
