After returning to the hotel from their tour of the tropical rainforest, Su Yingxue collapsed onto the bed in exhaustion. Though she didn't want to move, a smile remained on her face.

"Chen Mo, today's outing was so fulfilling. The tea mountains, the hani ethnic group villages, and the tropical rainforest—every place was so interesting. I'm still savoring it now."

Chen Mo walked over, sat by the edge of the bed, and gently massaged her legs, saying with a smile:

"Look at how tired you are, yet you still say it was fulfilling. I originally wanted to take you around Xishuangbanna for a few more days, but I've prepared an even bigger surprise for you. Once you've rested, we'll set off for Jinan, Shandong tomorrow."

"Jinan?"

Su Yingxue sat up abruptly, her eyes full of curiosity as she asked:

"What are we going to Jinan for? Is there somewhere even more fun than Xishuangbanna?"

"You'll know once we get to Jinan. I guarantee it'll be a bigger surprise than Xishuangbanna."

Chen Mo said, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

"Get some good rest today. We're taking a flight there first thing tomorrow morning, or we won't make it in time."

Although Su Yingxue was curious, she knew Chen Mo wouldn't lie to her. She nodded obediently and said:

"Okay, I'll listen to you! But you have to tell me in advance what the surprise is, or I won't be able to sleep tonight."

"You impatient little thing, always in a hurry."

Chen Mo flicked the bridge of her nose and said:

"It's the concert you've been talking about wanting to hear. It's the last show of 2014; if we miss it, there won't be another chance."

"A concert?"

Su Yingxue's eyes lit up instantly. She excitedly grabbed Chen Mo's hand and said:

"Whose concert is it? It couldn't be the person I'm thinking of, could it?"

"Guess."

Chen Mo looked at Su Yingxue with a smile.

Su Yingxue usually loved listening to G.E.M.'s songs and often mentioned her. He had specifically checked the tour schedule and found it coincided with the final stop of G.E.M.'s 2014 tour in Jinan, so he wanted to give her a surprise.

Su Yingxue frowned as she thought about it, then her eyes suddenly brightened:

"Could it be G.E.M.? I remember she has a tour this year, and this is her last show of 2014, right?"

Su Yingxue excitedly threw herself into Chen Mo's arms, hugging his neck, her eyes filled with joy as she said:

"I never thought I'd actually get to hear G.E.M. sing live, and at her year-end finale concert too. This is just pure happiness!"

"As long as you're happy, this little thing is nothing. Go and rest now. We have a flight to catch tomorrow. If you can't get up, you'll miss the concert."

Su Yingxue nodded hurriedly.

Early the next morning, the two packed their luggage, checked out of the hotel, and took an off-road vehicle to Xishuangbanna Gasa International Airport, flying towards Jinan.

On the private jet, Su Yingxue leaned against the window, watching the blue sky and white clouds outside. She hummed G.E.M.'s 'Bubble,' her eyes full of anticipation.

"Chen Mo, do you think G.E.M. sounds even better singing live than in her recordings?"

Su Yingxue turned to look at Chen Mo and asked curiously.

"Definitely. Her live vocals have always been excellent. Plus, there will be piano and drum performances, and a sea of glow sticks. It's bound to be incredibly powerful."

Chen Mo smiled and handed her a glass of warm water, saying:

"We'll be in Jinan in a few hours. Rest for a bit. I'll wake you when we arrive, otherwise you won't have the energy for the concert tonight."

"I'm not sleepy; I can't sleep."

Su Yingxue shook her head. Holding her phone, she scrolled through G.E.M.'s songs and said to Chen Mo:

"Look, I've downloaded all her hit songs. We can sing along together at the venue."

Chen Mo smiled helplessly, letting her do as she pleased.

After flying for about four hours, the private jet slowly landed at Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport.

As soon as they stepped out of the cabin, a piercing cold wind rushed at them, a stark contrast to the warmth and humidity of Xishuangbanna.

Su Yingxue couldn't help but wrap her clothes tighter around her, saying with a smile:

"Jinan is so cold; it's like a completely different world from Xishuangbanna."

"Yeah, winter in Jinan is colder than in Magic City. Luckily, I brought thick clothes for you."

Chen Mo handed her the down jacket he had prepared in advance and helped her put it on.

"Let's go to the hotel to drop off our luggage and rest for a bit. We'll head to the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium in the evening. The concert starts at 7:30, so we can't be late."

"Okay!"

Su Yingxue nodded. Allowing Chen Mo to lead her by the hand, she got into the pre-arranged car and headed to the hotel.

As the car drove through the streets of Jinan, Su Yingxue looked at the scenery outside and said:

"Jinan is different from what I imagined. The streets are very wide, and there are many ancient buildings. It looks very charming."

"Jinan is the City of Springs. It has many springs and historical sites. After the concert, I'll take you around Jinan to try the local specialty foods."

The two dropped their luggage at the hotel, took a brief rest, changed into thick clothes, and set off for the Jinan Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium.

With half an hour left before the concert began, the area outside the gymnasium was already packed with people. G.E.M. fans were everywhere—some holding light boards, some with posters, and others singing her songs together. It was very lively.

Su Yingxue looked at the crowd before her and said in awe:

"I didn't expect G.E.M. to have so many fans. It looks like this concert is going to be spectacular."

Entering the gymnasium through the VIP passage, they saw the staff making final preparations. The fans in the audience were already shouting impatiently, calling out G.E.M.'s name.

Chen Mo and Su Yingxue found their seats and sat down.

"Chen Mo, we're about to see G.E.M.!" Su Yingxue said, pulling on Chen Mo's hand.

Chen Mo gently patted her hand and said:

"Yeah. Look, the stage setup is beautiful. There are glow sticks, too. We'll see the sea of lights in a moment."

Before long, the lights in the gymnasium suddenly dimmed. The cheering from the audience instantly reached a peak. Dressed in her punk opening outfit, G.E.M. slowly walked onto the stage, picked up the microphone, and said with a smile:

"Good evening, friends in Jinan! I am G.E.M. Deng Ziqi. I'm very happy to be performing in Shandong for the first time, and I'm also delighted to spend the final show of my 2014 tour with all of you!"
