39: Chapter 39 Angrily Kicks the Korean Manager

In the lounge of the Korean celebrities, nine young girls were whispering with their heads bowed, their faces full of worry.

"The host organization from Dragon Country seems quite powerful. If we demand a last-minute price increase, will we offend them?"

"The 400 million won appearance fee is already a lot, much higher than what we get in Korea..."

"But Senior G-Dragon is asking for 800 million. The nine of us can't possibly get less than one person, can we?"

"Shh! Don't let him hear you. The senior has a bad temper!"

They were currently the hottest girl group in Korea. The over 2 million RMB appearance fee (equivalent to 400 million won) offered by Wu Dongju was already a pleasant surprise for them.

However, seeing the enthusiasm of Dragon Country fans, G-Dragon's agent incited him to raise his appearance fee from 500,000 RMB to 4.5 million RMB, nearly ten times the original amount. Their agent also joined in the clamor, wanting to raise their fee to 5 million RMB, just to one-up G-Dragon.

The girls were utterly unwilling in their hearts. Even if the price was increased, most of the money would go into the company's and the agents' pockets, leaving them with only a tiny fraction. But with the agent having the final say, they could only seethe in silence, not daring to speak out.

"Boom!"

A loud crash echoed as the lounge door was kicked open. The door slammed heavily against the wall, shaking dust loose.

Everyone was startled, turning to look. A tall, handsome man walked in, radiating an icy aura that kept others at bay. He was even more handsome than G-Dragon, yet carried a suffocating sense of oppression.

"Who are you! How dare you barge into our lounge?"

G-Dragon's agent abruptly stood up, adjusted his glasses, and shouted arrogantly in Korean.

Chen Mo's expression remained impassive as he retorted in flawless, impeccable Korean:

"Who I am isn't important. What matters is, who gave you the nerve to breach the contract and demand a price increase on my turf?"

The translator following behind was instantly stunned. Before he could even speak, Chen Mo had already started communicating on his own. Remembering Chen Mo's identity as a top student, he barely managed to suppress his surprise.

Wu Dongju, on the other hand, looked completely calm. In her view, nothing unbelievable about Chen Mo was surprising.

Hearing Chen Mo's standard Korean, the agent's heart skipped a beat. He cautiously asked:

"Are you also Korean? Which family are you from?"

Seeing Chen Mo's extraordinary presence, he feared he might be a young master from some prominent Korean family he couldn't afford to offend.

"Haven't you Koreans stolen enough of our Dragon Country's culture? Now you want to claim people too?"

Chen Mo scoffed, his tone full of disdain.

"Why don't you take a piss and look at yourself in it? Are you even worthy?"

Upon hearing he was from Dragon Country, the agent instantly relaxed, his face regaining its haughtiness:

"We didn't breach the contract! If you think we did, feel free to sue us in a Korean court!"

He had calculated that Tianxing Games couldn't possibly pursue cross-border legal action. Even if they won, a Korean court would delay indefinitely, leaving them with no recourse.

"Sue?"

Chen Mo laughed as if he had heard the biggest joke, but there was no warmth in his laughter.

"To deal with trash like you, do I even need to sue?"

Before the words fully left his mouth, Chen Mo's figure blurred. He instantly rushed before the agent and delivered a kick.

"Thud!"

The agent was kicked flying like a ragged sack, crashing heavily against the wall before sliding to the floor, knocked unconscious with blood trickling from his mouth.

The entire lounge fell deathly silent, so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

G-Dragon trembled all over, pointing a shaking finger at Chen Mo, his voice quivering:

"Y-you... how can you hit someone!"

The Dragon Country celebrities peeking from outside the door were also shocked. No one expected Chen Mo to be so violent. A billionaire super-tycoon actually resorted to physical force so readily, completely subversion their understanding.

Wu Dongju also stared dumbfounded at Chen Mo, as if seeing him for the first time.

The nine Korean girls were so frightened their faces turned deathly pale, tightly clutching the hems of their clothes, barely holding back screams.

"Which eye of yours saw me hit someone?"

Chen Mo gave G-Dragon a cold glance.

"If you think I hit someone, you can sue me in a Dragon Country court. See if anyone will Acceptance it."

He directly applied the agent's own logic, turning it back on them.

The Koreans instantly fell silent. No one dared speak another word.

Even if they were foolish, they knew resistance was useless now. If Chen Mo attacked again, they didn't want to end up like the agent.

Chen Mo's gaze shifted to the nine girls. His tone softened slightly but still carried unquestionable authority:

"Will you continue demanding the price increase, or will you perform now?"

He had overheard the girls' conversation outside the door and knew they weren't the masterminds, which was why he had shown restraint.

If it had been G-Dragon, even if he could perform, Chen Mo would never have let him on stage.

The girls' agent hurriedly stepped forward, bowing and scraping:

"We'll perform immediately! We'll get ready right away!"

Only then did he remember the company's warning before coming: Tianxing Games is an international giant; they absolutely must not be offended. He had been truly bewitched earlier, blindly following G-Dragon's agent's lead.

Fortunately, Chen Mo didn't pursue it further, or the consequences would have been unthinkable.

Chen Mo nodded, glanced at Wu Dongju with a hint of "See, wasn't that solved?" in his eyes.

Wu Dongju helplessly rolled her eyes, thinking to herself:

Only you, Boss Chen, would dare do this. Anyone else wouldn't dare to physically assault someone at an international event like this.

But It has to be admitted, this simple and rough method was indeed effective.

Chen Mo turned to leave, his gaze sweeping over the nine girls.

It has to be admitted, their figures were quite good, especially Im Yoon-ah; her looks were truly outstanding. But Chen Mo already had beauties of this level around him long ago, so he felt no interest whatsoever.

Leaving the lounge, Chen Mo watched the girls' performance for a while before quietly leaving the competition venue without notifying Wu Dongju.

He was somewhat dissatisfied with Wu Dongju's earlier inclination to compromise, but he also knew not everyone could be as fearless as he was. Wu Dongju had her own considerations.

Arriving at his sports car outside the venue, Chen Mo found a large crowd of streamers, mostly female, gathered around, live streaminging his bugatti veyron.

These past few days, female streamers had been lingering near his sports car, trying to Riding the wave. Even some big streamers were no exception.

But Chen Mo wasn't even interested in Im Yoon-ah, let alone these streamers. Their looks and temperament were far inferior.

Just then, Chen Mo noticed a circle of people gathered not far away. There seemed to be an argument in the middle, and the person surrounded was actually Ling Jing.

"She's At least an acquaintance and also my employee. If she gets bullied on my turf, it won't sound good if word gets out."

Chen Mo thought to himself as he strode over.

He pushed through the crowd and saw Ling Jing cornered by a man with a shamate style, her face flushed red with Wronged.

"Boss Chen!"

Seeing Chen Mo, Ling Jing's eyes instantly lit up as if she had seen a savior. She quickly called out.

She was Chen Mo's employee and also Nalan Ruoshui's roommate, which made her an acquaintance. Now that she was being bullied, surely Boss Chen wouldn't just stand by?

The shamate man frowned upon seeing Chen Mo, clearly aware of Chen Mo's identity, but he didn't take it too seriously.

He felt he was just trying to invite Ling Jing for a meal, not a big deal. Chen Mo wouldn't turn against him over such a trivial matter.

"Boss Chen, I just wanted to invite her for a meal,"

the shamate man said, his tone carrying a hint of Unwilling.

"I gifted 100,000 RMB in her live stream. She didn't refuse before, but now she's going back on her word!"

"That's not true, Boss Chen!"

Ling Jing hurriedly explained.

"He forced those gifts on me himself. I never asked for them. After gifting, he pressured me to meet him for a meal. I refused, but he kept pestering me!"

Chen Mo instantly understood the whole story.

This shamate was named Liu Yun, a big spender on Tianxing Live. His purpose for gifting was to pick up female streamers, having succeeded several times before.

Seeing Ling Jing in person at this carnival, he was captivated by her looks and gifted 100,000 RMB, trying to force Ling Jing to comply.

But having been around Nalan Ruoshui, Ling Jing's standards were long ago higher. 100,000 RMB couldn't sway her. Moreover, she had her own Bottom line and would never sell herself for money.

"The 100,000 RMB, I'll have the tech department refund it to you, in Star Coins or RMB, whichever you prefer."

Chen Mo looked at Liu Yun, his tone dull but carrying unquestionable majesty.

In his view, for such a small matter, refunding the money should settle it.

But Liu Yun shook his head, a trace of Arrogant appearing on his face:

"Boss Chen, the money I, Liu Yun, give out never comes back. Otherwise, how could I maintain my standing in the circle?"

He glanced at the surrounding live streaminging streamers and the audience on their phone screens, thinking to himself:

If I back down in front of so many people, I'll have no face left in the future.

Earlier, he had even boasted that even if the King of Heaven came, Ling Jing would have to go with him. How could he possibly give up easily now?

Chen Mo's eyes turned cold. He hadn't expected this guy to be so Ungrateful.
