203: Chapter 203 (Final Chapter)
Three years passed in the blink of an eye.
Three years ago, Chen Mo retired at the peak of his success, leaving the management of Tianxing Group to Zhang Kai, Lin Hao, and others. He took Li Yue, Wu Dongju, Wu Xue, Su Yingxue, Yang Mi, Dilraba Dilmurat, Guli Nazha, Liu Yifei, Im Yoon-ah, Li Xing, and Zhao Liying to find this nameless little island, where they have lived in seclusion ever since.
The island wasn't large, but it had blue seas and skies, white sandy beaches, and coconut trees lining the shore. In the distance were stretches of mountain forests. There was no city bustle, only the sound of waves crashing against the shore—simple and serene.
The wooden cabins on the island were arranged neatly, and various flowers and plants grew in the courtyard; it was the home where they lived together day and night.
Just as the morning sun began to spill across the beach, Chen Mo was awakened by the sounds of laughter and joy beside him.
Walking out of the cabin, he saw lively figures on the beach from a distance.
Dilraba Dilmurat and Guli Nazha were carrying small buckets, picking up shells along the shore. From time to time, they would bend down to pick one up, laughing as they huddled together to compare them.
Li Xing and Zhao Liying walked slowly through the shallow water with their arms linked, letting the seawater wash over their ankles while they whispered secrets to each other.
Wu Dongju sat on a large reef rock, holding a towel. She watched the others playing around, a smile playing on her lips.
Wu Xue walked slowly to the reef with a few glasses of iced juice and handed her one.
"Look how much fun they're having. Let's go over there too."
Wu Dongju took the juice and nodded.
"Wait a bit. Let them play for a while first, then we'll bring the juice over."
On the other side, Liu Yifei and Im Yoon-ah were squatting on the beach, building a sandcastle. Their fingertips were covered in fine sand, and they occasionally splashed sand at each other, dodging with laughter.
Su Yingxue and Yang Mi sat on beach chairs with books in their hands. They occasionally looked up at the others playing, taking a sip of juice when they were tired, enjoying this peace.
Li Yue walked up to Chen Mo and gently took his arm.
"You're awake? See how much fun they're having? Let's join them."
Chen Mo nodded with a smile, letting her lead him step by step toward the beach.
The sea breeze brushed past, carrying the saltiness of the water. The sand beneath his feet was soft and exceptionally comfortable.
"Chen Mo, look at the shells I found!"
Dilraba Dilmurat was the first to see them. She waved the shells in her hand and said excitedly.
"This one is the most beautiful. I'm going to string it into a bracelet."
Guli Nazha also held up her shells and said defiantly.
"Mine is the one that looks good. Yours is too small. Look at mine; the pattern is so unique."
Chen Mo walked over with a smile and looked at the shells in their hands.
"They're both beautiful. String them into bracelets, and you can each wear one."
Liu Yifei looked up and called out to Chen Mo.
"Chen Mo, come here quickly and help us build this castle. The ones we build keep falling down."
Chen Mo walked over as requested, squatted down, took the sand from Im Yoon-ah's hands, and began to build it up slowly.
"To build a castle, you have to pack the base firmly, otherwise it falls easily."
As he spoke, he taught them how to adjust the firmness of the sand step by step. Su Yingxue and Yang Mi also put down their books and came over to help.
Li Xing and Zhao Liying also came over, holding small pebbles they had picked up and placing them on the edges of the castle as decorations.
"This way, the castle will be even more beautiful."
Wu Dongju and Wu Xue came over with the juice and handed it out to everyone.
"Don't play too hard. Have some juice and take a break; the sun is getting stronger."
Everyone took their juice and sat in a circle, chatting as they drank.
Yang Mi said with a smile.
"Back at the company, I was so busy every day that my feet barely touched the ground. I never thought I'd have such a leisurely life."
Wu Xue nodded in agreement.
"Yes, my head used to be full of nothing but work. Now, being able to look at the sea every day and be with everyone is enough for me."
Im Yoon-ah said with a smile.
"I used to think that doing many things was the only way to have meaning. Now I understand that these peaceful, ordinary days are the most precious."
Chen Mo looked at everyone around him. Each face wore a pure smile, free from the exhaustion of the workplace or the troubles of conflict—only simple happiness remained.
The sun grew warmer, the waves gently lapped at the beach, and the sound of laughter spread throughout the entire island.
Dilraba Dilmurat and Guli Nazha ran off again with their buckets to pick up shells. Liu Yifei and Im Yoon-ah continued building their castle. Li Xing and Zhao Liying chased each other playfully in the shallow water. Wu Dongju and Wu Xue sat to the side, watching them and occasionally offering a word of caution, while Su Yingxue and Yang Mi accompanied Chen Mo, chatting about daily trifles.
No meetings, no negotiations, no conflicts, and no world-famous status—just a group of people staying together, living simple and happy lives on this small island.
Tianxing Group continued to shine in the global technology sector, and Huaxia Technology rose steadily. Hundreds of millions of people still remembered Chen Mo's legend, but he had long since shed his sharpness and returned to a life of simplicity.
Here, he was not a Tech Tycoon, but just an ordinary man accompanying his loved ones, watching the tides rise and fall, and playing together.
The sea breeze was gentle, the sun was just right, and with his beloveds by his side, free from disturbance, the years were peaceful and beautiful.
The End.
