402: The tiger king may be trying to mine

Because once they discover that the Law Book, acquired at great cost in points, has no effect, it might mislead Blue Star creatures.

It might make them neglect the importance of Law comprehension and focus on cultivation resources that rapidly enhance physical strength.

This behavior is undoubtedly putting the cart before the horse and is highly undesirable.

Comprehension is inherently ethereal, without tangible form.

During his conversation with the four individuals and one beast, Lin Tianwei had already silently completed the upgrade of the Law Book.

Barioss, as the administrator of the Law Arena, naturally noticed Lin Tianwei's arrival.

However, he would support and assist Lin Tianwei in any of his actions,

and thus, it was impossible for him to prevent Lin Tianwei from upgrading the Law Book.

Looking at the Law Book, whose quality had significantly improved, Lin Tianwei was very satisfied; this would make Blue Star's development even faster.

"Ding, congratulations on a successful forced match. Your opponent is Torville."

Just then, Lin Tianwei, who was in Hosting (managed) status, also received the Law Arena's match success notification.

He immediately stopped lingering on Blue Star, his consciousness returning to the Law Arena.

Although developing Blue Star was important, Lin Tianwei's strength was the foundation of everything. He would not make such a foolish mistake... Tigers Might was vast!

Even after Lin Tianwei left, the terrifying Tigers Might still lingered in the Tiger King Temple, refusing to dissipate.

It wasn't until three days later, when the Tigers Might faded, that the four individuals and one beast dared to move.

Fortunately, they were all powerful Awakened beings; not eating for three days and nights, or even a month, would pose no problem for them.

Waving his hand to dismiss the three individuals and one beast, Ouro merely cautioned:

"The decision rests with yourselves. I only hope you cherish this hard-won opportunity."

"A frog in a well might be happy, but it will only ever see that small patch of sky."

"As Blue Star's top powerhouses, you should have the awareness to bear the burden for Blue Star."

"You have three months, just three months, to consider and prepare."

"Strive hard, and the benevolent Tiger King will bless you."

After speaking, Ouro said no more and returned to the Tiger King Temple.

Blue Star's path must be walked by Blue Star itself, and the path of the two individuals and one beast must also be chosen by themselves... As soon as they stepped out of the Tiger King Temple, Zhong's honest voice came over, saying:

"Why even think about it? How could we miss the opportunity given by the Tiger King?"

"Even if it means death, I, Zhong, will die fighting for the Tiger King."

At this point, Zhong looked at the two silent individuals with some surprise, and in a booming voice, he said:

"No way, no way, you two cowards aren't actually planning to back down, are you?"

It must be said that with continuous evolution, even fierce beasts possessed terrifying intelligence.

At least Zhong, Legisamon, and Gu Kai could communicate normally, and even their mocking tone was very human-like.

Inside the Tiger King Temple, Zhong dared not be presumptuous in the slightest, but after leaving the Tiger King Temple, Zhong reverted to his true, boisterous nature.

As one of Blue Star's strongest, Zhong also had his own pride.

Legisamon rolled his eyes at Zhong irritably, saying, "The Tiger King's trial, just thinking about it is exciting. How could I possibly back down?"

"I have always stood firmly by the Tiger King's side."

Gu Kai also agreed, "I have the same thought. This is a rare opportunity to become stronger; even if it's difficult, I must cherish it."

"I'm just thinking about one question, a very serious question."

"Just how strong is the Tiger King?"

This question seemed to resonate, and Zhong, feeling the same way, said, "Unfathomable, completely unfathomable."

"I originally thought that once my strength reached Planetary-level, I might get a clearer glimpse of the Tiger King's strength, but I found myself even less able to comprehend it."

"The Tiger King didn't even move; just a hint of his oppressive aura rendered me immobile."

"Certain death, it wouldn't even require the Tiger King to act; once we harbored ill intentions, we would die without a burial place."

"Perhaps the Tiger King's words weren't meant to comfort us; he truly doesn't need our strength."

"Perhaps our self-proclaimed strong faith is equally worthless in his eyes."

"Our strength compared to his might not even be as significant as a firefly to the bright moon."

As a beast, Zhong's intuition was even keener; he felt he was not facing a tiger, but some terrifying primordial beast.

This was also why his body kept trembling.

Even though Lin Tianwei wasn't targeting him, not radiating any hostility towards him, he still nearly wet himself.

Zhong's words immediately plunged Gu Kai into silence, and the atmosphere became oppressive.

This huge disparity, from being Blue Star's genius to feeling like a useless nobody, almost made them vomit blood.

Among the three, only Legisamon seemed completely unaffected.

It wasn't because he was the strongest; after all, in Lin Tianwei's presence, they weren't even ants.

It was simply because Legisamon was a fanatical believer in Lin Tianwei; he had always believed that Lin Tianwei possessed the power of a true god.

Ultimately, it was Gu Kai who took the initiative to end the heavy topic, saying:

"Perhaps the Tiger King doesn't need our strength, but that's no excuse for us to be lazy and not become stronger."

"Even without using the terminal, I can imagine the dangers of the universe."

"I can imagine the immense hardships the Tiger King has endured to protect Blue Star."

"Although the Tiger King is very strong, for the entire universe, he is still a novice. He might be facing immense danger every moment."

"In places we cannot see, the Tiger King is not living comfortably; he might even be diligently mining, striving to earn resources, all to provide Blue Star with an opportunity for advancement, to provide us with an opportunity for advancement."

"Under such circumstances, how can we possibly back down?"

"Death is not terrifying; what is terrifying is losing the spirit to fight."

"The Tiger King can protect us for ten years, a hundred years, even a thousand or ten thousand years."

"But he cannot protect Blue Star for eternity."

"The future of Blue Star needs to be carried by us, the Blue Star creatures, ourselves."

"If the path of carrying the Tiger King Flag is destined to be full of Thorns and hardships, then as pioneers, as long as I can clear a few Thorns for those who come after, I will have died a worthy death."

In fact, Blue Star had always speculated about Lin Tianwei's situation.

Optimistic creatures would think that Lin Tianwei must have found a backer and was prudently developing in some corner of the universe.

Pessimistic creatures, on the other hand, would think that Lin Tianwei was living a miserable life in the universe, perhaps even captured and forced into some black mine, having to mine countless ores every day just to get a pitiful amount of food.

It wasn't that they were overly pessimistic, but the emergence of several crises made them realize that the universe was incredibly dangerous, something they, as novices, were absolutely incapable of handling.

Even the Tiger King, even the incredibly powerful Tiger King, might not be able to thrive in the universe.

However, this speculation not only did not shake their faith but made their faith even stronger.

This was a burden-bearer for Blue Star, worthy of their respect and faith.

Even if the Tiger King was not the strongest, he was definitely the best existence for Blue Star and all Blue Star creatures.

This kind of benevolent protection of one side was far better than the fictional gods in myths, and much more worthy of their faith.

It was precisely because of this that Gu Kai would say such strange words.

One must know that, under normal circumstances, such nonsense would be absolute blasphemy.

Gu Kai did not want to represent others; he was merely stating his own thoughts, so he used "I" instead of "we."

No creature should be sacrificed; this was his Awakening.

It seemed Gu Kai's words resonated with him; Zhong raised his muscular bear paw and patted Gu Kai's shoulder, saying:

"Me too."

"I don't understand these grand principles, and I can't articulate them, but I know what I need to do."

"I absolutely will not miss this trial!"

Due to his excitement, Zhong momentarily lost control of his strength, sending Gu Kai stumbling backward, almost falling to the ground.

As the only beast among the two individuals and one beast, Zhong's strength was arguably the strongest.

After all, beasts' bodies were naturally stronger than humans', giving them a higher starting point.

Humans at the same level of evolution were simply no match for beasts.

Zhong's slap instantly shattered the atmosphere that had just been building, and Gu Kai said with a wry smile, "Go if you're going, why hit me?"

"We're not enemies; you should save your brute strength for any potential enemies."

Legisamon was incredibly cunning; he had quietly retreated behind the other two as soon as Zhong showed signs of agitation, only now beginning to speak to assert his presence, saying:

"Yes, we should save our strength for potential enemies."

"Although we must participate in the trial, sharpening the axe doesn't delay the chopping, so we shouldn't be too hasty."

"First, let's get a good understanding of what the real universe is like before participating in the trial; our chances of passing will be greater."

Gu Kai and Zhong deeply agreed with Legisamon's words, nodding in unison.

Although the two individuals and one beast were not of the same race, they now shared only one identity: Blue Star creatures.

If not now, when would they unite?

Without further ado, they immediately found a nearby spot and began activating their terminals, connecting their consciousness to them.

The cosmic network was ubiquitous; unless in extremely special spaces, signals could always be received.

Normally, Lin Tianwei's Tiger Tooth Space, being a private domain, should not be able to receive cosmic network signals.

However, with Lin Tianwei, the owner, consenting to connect to the cosmic network, there was naturally no signal problem.

So, the two individuals and one beast directly accessed the cosmic network through their terminals, becoming the first among countless Blue Star creatures to encounter the magnificent cosmic world.

As a wealthy tiger, the terminal Lin Tianwei bought was naturally not the lowest-grade common merchandise.

Not only was it powerful in function, but its permissions were also higher than ordinary terminals, allowing access to a great deal of information.

Thus, the two individuals and one beast were completely engrossed, speechless with awe.

The magnificent universe filled them with infinite longing, making them wish to immediately participate in the trial and gain the true qualification to travel to the universe.

However, while the universe was magnificent, it was also extremely dangerous; weaker Cosmic Beasts had no chance of survival in the universe.

Some powerful Cosmic Beasts, merely by looking at the virtual image condensed by the terminal, could make the three individuals and one beast feel immense pressure, giving them the illusion that they would be instantly crushed.

And this was very likely not an illusion; the opponent might not even need a finger to eliminate them, only a thought.

Rashly entering the perilous universe, being completely exploited and even having their bone fragments crushed, would be their only fate.

Their proudly held strength was merely the basic requirement to enter the universe; even the Slave market wouldn't care for Slaves of their low strength.

They felt that capturing them to sell was purely a waste of effort, meaningless.

Because few customers would be interested in Slaves of such low strength.

The cruel reality was like a basin of cold water, completely extinguishing the enthusiasm of the two individuals and one beast; they suddenly realized that the journey to the universe was far more difficult than they had imagined.

This also made them increasingly worried about Lin Tianwei's situation.

Could it be that the Tiger King is really diligently mining to support us?

After experiencing the difficulty of cosmic exploration, this peculiar idea became more and more deeply ingrained.

After all, Lin Tianwei had only left Blue Star for a little over ten years; his strength, at most, could reach Planet Level 9.

This was even assuming Lin Tianwei was a genius, otherwise, the estimate of his strength might be even lower.

While there were countless naturally powerful Cosmic Beasts in the universe, they were definitely not ordinary Blue Star creatures like them.

Pressure, immense pressure, weighed down on the two individuals and one beast; they were Blue Star's hope, and Blue Star's backbone.

They ultimately stood up under immense pressure, their fighting spirit igniting once more, determined to carve out a future for Blue Star.

Zhong even bellowed, "Damn it, what's there to be afraid of? Even if I, this bear, die, I want to die with value."

"If not for the Tiger King's protection, I wouldn't even have had the chance to be born. How could I be afraid to fight with a life I picked up for free?"

"You two frail humans, work hard, become stronger, and then we'll go help the Tiger King mine together."

"Mine, mine a lot, mine hard! Only with yuan coins can our Blue Star become stronger."

Zhong seemed to have a certain obsession with mining; his first thought after becoming stronger was actually to help Lin Tianwei mine.

It's unclear whether Lin Tianwei would be happy or sad upon learning this.

However, it's not surprising that Zhong was so stubborn about mining; don't let mining seem like a tough job, but for weaker Cosmic Beasts, it was actually a good one.

Although they wouldn't be well-fed or warmly clothed, they could genuinely earn yuan coins, earning capital to become stronger.

He felt he wasn't mining ore, but a future of strength.

Swing the pickaxe and get to work, carve out a new world! (End of Chapter)
