84: goat

Pato's words were undoubtedly the sentiment of everyone in the command center.

There was no way they could believe that Lin Tianwei had actually escaped the inescapable net they had laid out.

For a time, various "impossible" statements emerged endlessly.

In short, no one believed that Lin Tianwei could easily escape right under their noses.

Only Derek felt a hint of unease and reminded, "We should send someone to check."

"After all, we can't detect the Tiger King in the lake, so he might not actually be there."

Pato patted Derek's shoulder lightly and said with a smile, "Derek, you're still too much of a worrier."

"With such an inescapable net, how could the Tiger King possibly escape?"

"The reason we can't detect him now is simply because he's using a special ability."

"I believe as soon as he can't hold on any longer, he'll show himself."

"Or when the lake is completely frozen over."

"Based on collision volume, we can still easily locate the Tiger King's position."

Although reason told Derek that Pato was right.

It was impossible for Lin Tianwei to escape.

But that ominous premonition.

And Lin Tianwei's previous display of cunning and treachery told him.

He absolutely could not overlook any possibility.

Thinking of this, Derek said, "Pato, perhaps we should be more cautious."

"It's just sending a few people to check; it might have an unexpected effect."

"Waiting for the lake to freeze is too long; we can't rely entirely on it."

"Once we miss this opportunity, it will be very hard to say where the Tiger King will run to next."

"Especially since every appearance of his means the loss of an S-class subject."

"Even if our Research Institute is rich, it can't withstand such consumption."

"Especially since the one living in Zone D is the Goat."

"Its value, I believe you know better than I do."

"Once it dies, it will be an unbearable loss for the entire Research Institute."

All S-class research subjects in the Ismail Institute possessed unparalleled research value.

The Goat, seemingly ordinary, was the Ismail Institute's most important economic creature.

It even made more money than the Beast Arena.

Its incredibly defensive and endlessly harvestable wool was the most sought-after material.

It could be woven into light and strong silk threads.

It was an indispensable high-tech material in any field.

Furthermore, the Goat's original form was that of a herbivore.

Even after mutation, its combat power was not considered top-tier.

If it really faced the Tiger King, it might not be long before he enjoyed a lamb feast.

Derek's words made a lot of sense, forcing Pato to take them seriously.

After a moment of hesitation, he finally decided to allocate some combat power to head to Zone D, where Lin Tianwei was.

At least to ensure that the Goat would not have any problems.

Otherwise, once the owner of the Ismail Institute became enraged.

This would be a disaster for the entire Research Institute.

Seeing Pato listen to his advice, Derek finally breathed a sigh of relief.

If it weren't for his intricate connections with the leadership of the Ismail Institute.

How could a blockhead like Pato be above him?

Fortunately, he was someone who listened to advice, so generally, no major problems would arise.

It just made Derek feel very tired.

Why was he the one worrying, while others received the bulk of the rewards?

Zone D.

As soon as Lin Tianwei arrived here, he released an Ultrasonic Wave.

He used the Ultrasonic Wave to scan the entire Zone D.

It had to be said, the Ultrasonic Wave Talent was truly useful.

It had almost become one of Lin Tianwei's irreplaceable Talents now.

Although humans detected the abnormal Ultrasonic Wave in the Primeval Forest.

And had also deployed a large number of interference devices.

However, Lin Tianwei's Ultrasonic Wave was strong enough that he could still use it.

It just required a little more effort.

After half an hour of exploration, Lin Tianwei finally found his target.

It was a giant Goat, noticeably larger than all the other Goats.

Combining the information he had gathered earlier in the Beast Arena, Lin Tianwei was certain that this was his target.

However, before Lin Tianwei could even start to act.

In his perception, countless heavy tanks were driving towards his direction.

They formed a formation.

Like the most powerful steel beasts, they were continuously advancing towards Lin Tianwei's location.

Cooperating with specialized detectors.

They gradually formed an encirclement, narrowing Lin Tianwei's range of movement.

They seemed to have come prepared!

Not only that, the Goat also seemed to have received some kind of information and began to pace restlessly.

It nervously glanced around.

The Goat ultimately chose to flee.

As a former herbivore, even if it now ate anything.

Its first choice when facing a creature stronger than itself was still to flee.

At full burst, the Goat's speed was much faster than Lin Tianwei's.

It transformed into a white blur, dashing into the distance.

It was a speed that the currently obese Lin Tianwei could not possibly catch up to.

Lin Tianwei suddenly realized something: he seemed to have underestimated the intelligence of these humans.

Although their individual strength was far inferior to his.

Under collective wisdom, however, they could perform many operations that were unexpected for the Tiger.

However, Lin Tianwei showed no fear at all.

Dilemma?

This was just an illusion.

Lin Tianwei would tell them.

He was a powerful existence that they could not contend with.

The seemingly terrifying encirclement was nothing but a joke.

Thinking of this, Lin Tianwei ran quickly.

Although he wasn't as fast as the Goat, he was not something these tanks could challenge.

Following the direction the Goat fled, he quickly reached the edge of the tank encirclement.

There was no need to engage with the tanks at all.

These seemingly powerful, clumsy objects were nothing more than toys under Lin Tianwei's claws.

With a simple leap, Lin Tianwei had already left them behind.

To continue hunting that panicked prey.

Although Lin Tianwei's figure could not be seen.

His movements, however, undoubtedly triggered the human detection devices.

Butt looked in horror at the figure displayed on the detector.

Just a phantom image made him tremble uncontrollably.

That was the Tiger King!

An existence capable of easily destroying submarines.

Dealing with these seemingly powerful tanks was nothing more than child's play, wasn't it?

Suppressing the fear in his heart, Butt took out his walkie-talkie and reported to his superior:

"Tiger King's tracks have been found."

"He is currently hunting the Goat in Zone D."

"Tank unit requests reinforcement!"

Such important intelligence was naturally relayed to the command center immediately.

Pato looked at the large screen in front of him, his face ashen.

The liquid nitrogen being frantically poured into the lake.

The lake water about to be frozen solid.

It all seemed like the biggest joke.

Mercilessly mocking his ignorance and foolishness.

How could the mighty Tiger King be controlled by such petty tricks?
