169: Nazha greeted him at the airport!

At noon, Chen Le arrived at the restaurant.

Just as he sat down to eat, Chen Le received a call from Naza.

Seeing Naza's call, Chen Le was somewhat surprised.

Usually, Yang Mi would be the first to call, but this time it was actually Naza.

"Hello, Naza."

"Brother Le, your new movie has finished filming!" Naza's voice was filled with joy.

"Then when are you coming back to Yanjing? I'll come pick you up!" Naza suddenly asked.

"I'll probably come back tomorrow. We had the wrap party yesterday, and I woke up too late today, so I didn't book a ticket back to Yanjing," Chen Le said.

"Mm, then I'll pick you up tomorrow!" Naza nodded with a smile upon hearing Chen Le's words.

"Naza, are you still in Yanjing right now?" Chen Le asked.

"Yes, I don't have any scenes to film for these two months, so I've been attending classes at school. I've fallen behind on a lot of my coursework and need to catch up," Naza nodded.

She was a student at the Beijing Film Academy after all, so she had to complete her studies. She was filming before, but since she had no projects for the moment, she had to make up for the coursework she missed.

"I see. So how are you finding school?" Chen Le continued with a smile.

"It's alright, but a lot of my classmates have left school, so I'm the only one still hanging around," Naza said.

The classmates she used to get along with had left school one by one, making her feel a bit bored.

"Isn't that how it goes? When they were at school, you were out filming. Now that they've left school, you're back."

Hearing this, Naza laughed as well.

"It's fine, I'm almost graduating anyway. I'll probably leave school again next semester."

Speaking of which, Naza had spent most of her university years filming, so she hadn't spent much time at school.

Chen Le was a bit dazed by this. What was going on? Why did she take the initiative to hang up this time?

Meanwhile, on the other side of the call, at the Beijing Film Academy campus.

Just as Naza hung up, a girl ran up to her.

"Naza, who were you just calling? Why were you in such a hurry to hang up?" The girl looked at Naza with a face full of gossip.

Hearing this, Naza's face turned red, and she quickly waved her hands, saying, "Just a good friend. He finished filming his movie, so I called to congratulate him."

"A good friend? How come I didn't know you had a good friend like that? Are you not in contact much?" the girl continued to ask curiously.

"He's usually out filming, and I'm usually filming too, so we don't see each other much, but we have a good relationship," Naza continued to explain.

"Wait? Naza, why is your face red? Your 'good friend' wouldn't happen to be a guy, would he? Do you like him?" The girl guessed correctly in one shot, making Naza feel flustered.

"No, I don't. Stop being so gossipy." After saying that, Naza refused to speak further... After finishing his meal, Chen Le arrived at the Film Crew's location.

Although the movie had wrapped, the follow-up work was not over yet.

Things like site rentals definitely needed to be finalized, but Zhao Sheng was the one busy with those tasks.

When Chen Le saw Zhao Sheng, the latter immediately walked over.

"Brother Sheng, when will this wrap-up work be finished?" Chen Le looked at him and asked.

"It'll be sorted in a couple of days. Director Chen, you can head back to the company first," Zhao Sheng said with a smile.

"Alright, I trust you to handle this task," Chen Le nodded with satisfaction.

Chen Le went to other parts of the set and found that Shen Teng and the others were also there; they hadn't left yet.

"Director Chen, why are you here?" Shen Teng saw Chen Le and immediately walked over, smiling.

"Shen Teng, why are you guys still with the Film Crew? The movie is finished; you can go home and rest," Chen Le looked at him and asked.

"Haha, Director Chen, our flights are all for tomorrow. We had nothing to do today, so we came to the set to look around. If there's anything we can help with, we'll pitch in," Shen Teng immediately explained with a laugh.

"I see! Since everyone is free, why don't we go out and have some fun? You've been filming for so long; you should relax a bit," Chen Le suggested.

"Go out and play? Where to?" Ma Li's eyes flashed with pleasant surprise upon hearing the suggestion, and she asked curiously.

"You guys decide. I'll just wander around with you." Chen Le didn't know what fun places there were in Bin City, so he let Shen Teng and the others think for themselves.

"I heard the beaches in Bin City are quite nice. Let's go play at the beach?" Shen Teng said with a smile.

"Old Shen, I have to say... what kind of plan is that? Playing at the beach?" Ma Li curled her lip from the side.

"Hey, I just simply want to go there and have some fun. Ma Li, what are you thinking?" Shen Teng immediately explained indignantly.

"Alright, do you guys have any other places you want to go?" Chen Le nodded and looked at Yin Zheng, Wang Zhi, and the others.

"Me too," Wang Zhi also spoke.

"OK, let's go take a look then," Chen Le nodded.

In the afternoon, they arrived at the coast of Bin City.

The ocean view was indeed nice, with a clear blue sky and a deep blue sea.

The weather today was exceptionally good, and the temperature in Bin City in June wasn't low either.

On the beach, there were many people of all ages out for a stroll.

Of course, there weren't many young people; most were elderly folks and children.

"Old Shen, want to take a couple of laps?" Ma Li looked at Shen Teng and asked with a smile.

"Sure, let's go soak up some sun." Shen Teng smiled and walked over.

Yin Zheng rubbed his nose; he really hadn't expected the seaside to be a bit different from what he had imagined.

Wang Zhi felt the same, while only Chen Le remained calm.

Because he had no expectations, there was no disappointment or surprise.

And so, after wandering the beach for a few hours, the day passed.

The next day arrived, and Chen Le took an afternoon flight back to Yanjing.

As soon as he got off the plane and reached the exit.

He saw Naza dressed in a cool, summery outfit.

A student-style short skirt plus a white top, with a pair of fair, long legs that were particularly eye-catching.

When Chen Le saw her, he immediately walked over.

The passersby nearby saw Chen Le and were somewhat disappointed.

They hadn't expected this beauty to already be taken.

"So you do know how to wear a mask? Dressed like this, aren't you afraid of being recognized?" Chen Le patted Naza's shoulder and said with some amusement.
