267: The dishes cooked by chefs in China are still the best.

Soon, Chen Le took the Film Crew to the next filming location.

The filming site here had been set up long ago, but it had been left idle for some time.

So, upon arriving at the scene, the Film Crew staff immediately arranged all the props.

Yang Mi watched from the side; at this time, Tong Liya also changed back into her own clothes.

She had finished her scenes for today, so there was no need to keep wearing that outfit.

In fact, she didn't have many scenes in the entire series, only about ten minutes or so.

However, those ten-plus minutes still made her the female character with the most screen time.

So, calling her the female lead role was not an exaggeration.

The two watched from the side, and soon the morning session came to an end.

Even in Thailand, the Film Crew still prepared boxed lunches.

These boxed lunches were made by the Film Crew's chefs, who bought the ingredients and seasonings locally and cooked on-site.

Once the food was ready, it was delivered.

Since the lunch break was only an hour or two long...

Chen Le did not take Yang Mi out to eat; instead, they stayed with the Film Crew and ate boxed lunches with the other members.

Yang Mi and Chen Le found a spot to sit down together.

She sat next to Chen Le, eating her boxed lunch while offering her critique.

"Old Chen, your Film Crew's boxed lunches are quite good. They have meat and vegetables, the portions are generous, and the taste is decent," Yang Mi praised.

"These boxed lunches are stir-fried by the Film Crew's chefs using fresh ingredients. After all, I usually eat with the crew, so I have to treat myself well," Chen Le explained with a smile.

"Sigh, if only other Film Crews could be like yours. Then I wouldn't have to run out to eat every day, and I could save a lot of money," Yang Mi said with a sigh.

The boxed lunches in the crews she had been with before were all quite poor.

Not only the free ones; even the ones you had to pay for weren't great.

Let alone now, being in a foreign country.

"Food cooked by domestic chefs still tastes better," Yang Mi added another compliment after finishing her meal.

"Haha, it can't be helped. The Chinese food here has been modified to suit local tastes. It's normal to feel it's not as good as what domestic chefs cook," Chen Le said with a laugh.

"Yeah."

While the two were chatting, Tong Liya walked over.

Seeing this, Chen Le felt a bit helpless.

With Tong Liya as a third wheel, it was difficult for him to have some alone time with Yang Mi.

The lunch break passed very quickly.

It was gone in an instant.

In the afternoon, filming continued.

Evening soon arrived. Tong Liya originally wanted to tag along with Yang Mi, but Yang Mi brushed her off with an excuse.

Seeing this, Tong Liya was too embarrassed to insist on following and could only return to the hotel first.

Chen Le took Yang Mi to a thai cuisine restaurant.

This was her first time eating thai cuisine, so she was quite curious.

"Old Chen, you've eaten this thai cuisine before. Can you tell me what it tastes like?" Yang Mi asked.

"Emmm, I'll just tell you my own feelings. I think it's okay, but I don't really like it. Chinese food is still better. Of course, that's just my opinion; maybe you'll like it. After all, everyone's tastes are different," Chen Le said with a smile, not speaking in absolutes.

Because personally, he really didn't like thai cuisine much, but he couldn't deny that others might enjoy it.

After all, since people eat thai cuisine, there must be those who like it.

"Is that so?" Hearing Chen Le's words, Yang Mi became undecided as well.

In the end, she thought it over and decided to try the taste first.

Anyway, it was just a trial. No matter how much others said, it wasn't as good as taking a bite yourself.

Soon, the waiter brought out all the dishes they had ordered.

Looking at the table full of dishes, the presentation was quite nice, but she didn't know how they would taste.

"Mi Mi, go ahead and eat. Try it and see how it tastes," Chen Le said with a smile.

"Okay." Yang Mi nodded, then picked up some food with her chopsticks and took a bite.

Many people here also used chopsticks.

After all, being close to China, they were heavily influenced by ancient Chinese culture.

Yang Mi took a bite and felt it was alright.

It was just that the more she ate, the more cloying it felt.

"How does it taste, Mi Mi?" Chen Le asked curiously.

Yang Mi took a sip of water and said, "It's okay, but it gets a bit greasy after a while."

Hearing her say that, Chen Le immediately laughed.

"It seems we both have the same feeling."

"Yeah." Yang Mi nodded in agreement.

After eating thai cuisine, the two strolled around outside.

Walking out of Chinatown led to the main urban area of Bangkok.

There were no scenes to film tonight, so they were in no hurry to go back.

This was a rare moment for some alone time—just the two of them, without a third wheel.

Walking along the road, Yang Mi could see many scantily clad women.

Seeing these women, she really wanted to tell Chen Le not to look, but since they were all over the street, she didn't know how to bring it up.

"Old Chen, do they look good?" Yang Mi said with a hint of jealousy.

"They're average. They're all heavily made up, and it's not even certain if they're men or women," Chen Le said with a smile, sensing the jealousy in Yang Mi's voice.

Yang Mi was stunned for a moment, then immediately put her jealousy aside and asked curiously, "Really? Can you tell which ones are ladyboys?"

Yang Mi's voice was low; after all, on the street, the word ladyboy wasn't very polite.

But she was curious, so she asked quietly.

"How could I tell? Some ladyboys look no different from women on the surface. As for distinguishing them, it's probably about temperament. ladyboys have a unique vibe that most people can easily spot," Chen Le shook his head.

But he still provided a convincing analysis.

"Is that so? The people here..." Yang Mi didn't know what to say.

She didn't understand why the atmosphere here was so strange.

She didn't understand it, nor did she respect it.

"It's nothing, let's just be ourselves," Chen Le said with a smile.

The red-light districts here were very developed.

After walking a few steps, Chen Le and Yang Mi could see areas resembling red-light districts.

This was because in these places, there would be heavily made-up people in very revealing clothes waving from the roadside.

From time to time, people would follow these scantily clad women into the alleys.

After walking around for a bit, they went straight back to the hotel.

At night, this area was messier and more dangerous than during the day.

Therefore, Chen Le and Yang Mi did not go to any entertainment venues.

When abroad, it's better to be cautious; after all, it's not like being back home.

If something happened in an unfamiliar place, it would be difficult to even help oneself.

Back at the hotel, after they had both showered and were just about to do something...

Yang Mi's phone rang; she saw it was from her parents.

Seeing this, Yang Mi immediately answered the call.

"Hello, Mom, why are you calling me?"
