110: Chapter 110: Extreme Torture

The iron door of the basement opened once again, and a blinding white light shone in; the female soldiers instinctively closed their eyes.

Zhou Mo stood at the door, his brow furrowed as his gaze swept over the disheveled female soldiers in the cages—

Li Xue was curled up into a ball.

Number 12, Lin Yu, was running a high fever.

Although Number 18, Zhang Meng, was still holding on, her eyes were already unfocused.

As for Number 5, Su Qingcheng, the wound on her forehead had already scabbed over, but her gaze was clearer than anyone else's.

"Chief Instructor." Zhou Mo walked to Su Han's side and lowered his voice, "Their condition has reached its limit. If we continue, I'm afraid something will go wrong."

Su Han kept his hands behind his back, his gaze cold. "Limit? They're far from it."

Zhou Mo frowned. "But they haven't eaten for over 48 hours. If Number 12's leg injury isn't treated soon, it might worsen."

Su Han didn't answer; he just tilted his head slightly and looked at Zhou Mo. "You're a Special Forces Soldier. Let me ask you, if they were really in a prisoner-of-war camp, would the enemy give them time to rest?"

Zhou Mo choked up, remembering the captured soldiers he had seen at the border—they were tortured beyond recognition, some even starved to death, while the enemy wouldn't even grant them a sip of water.

They felt it was a waste of food!

"But they are still in the training phase after all..." Zhou Mo was still somewhat hesitant.

Su Han said indifferently, "Pain on the training ground is better than death on the battlefield."

After saying that, he ignored Zhou Mo and walked straight toward the female soldiers' iron cages.

"Everyone, stand up!" Su Han's voice echoed in the basement.

The female soldiers struggled to support themselves as they stood up; Li Xue swayed and almost fell.

But she gripped the iron bars tightly, forcing herself to stand steady.

"It seems you haven't completely broken down yet." Su Han sneered, then clapped his hands. "Take them to the Electrocution Room."

The members of the War Eagle Squad immediately stepped forward, opened the iron cages, and dragged the female soldiers out.

Su Qingcheng's legs were already numb, but she gritted her teeth and forced herself to take a step. She looked at Su Han and found that his gaze was still icy, without a hint of pity.

"Just how far is he going to push us..."

---

The Electrocution Room was even more eerie than the basement.

In the center of the room stood seven specially-made metal chairs with complex wires connected to the backrests. The floor was wet, and a faint smell of burning hung in the air.

The female soldiers were pressed into the chairs, their limbs secured by leather straps, and electrode pads were attached to their temples and wrists.

"This is low-voltage electric shock." Su Han stood in the center of the room, his voice terrifyingly calm. "It won't be fatal, but it's enough to let you experience what it means to wish you were dead."

Li Xue's body began to tremble uncontrollably, and tears flowed silently.

Su Han walked up to her, leaned over, and said, "Scared?"

Li Xue bit her lip hard and shook her head.

"Very well." Su Han straightened up and gave Houzi a look. "Begin."

Houzi grinned and pressed the switch on the control panel.

"Zizizi—"

The electric current instantly coursed through the female soldiers' bodies. The intense pain caused them to spasm all over, their muscles twitching uncontrollably.

Li Xue let out a heart-wrenching scream, but she quickly gritted her teeth and forced herself to endure it.

Su Qingcheng's vision went blank. The intense pain from the electric current almost suffocated her, but her consciousness remained exceptionally clear—

She remembered what her father had once said: "A true martial artist isn't someone who isn't afraid of pain, but someone who can remain clear-headed amidst it."

"I can hold on... I must hold on..." she repeated to herself over and over in her heart.

The moment the current stopped, the female soldiers slumped in their chairs like puppets with their strings cut. Sweat soaked their clothes, and their breathing was as rapid as if they had just finished a ten-kilometer run.

"This was just a warm-up." Su Han's voice came from a distance. "Next, we will increase the current and combine it with Psychotropic Drugs."

Zhou Mo suddenly looked up. "Psychotropic Drugs? That stuff will damage the nerves!"

Su Han gave him a cold look. "You seem to have a lot of opinions. How about you take over as Chief Instructor?"

Zhou Mo was speechless.

Da Xiong, standing beside him, pulled Zhou Mo's hand, signaling him not to try and persuade him further.

They actually all knew the reason why Su Han was so harsh on the female soldiers.

It was just that they couldn't bear it.

It wasn't just because they were female soldiers, but because Su Han's methods were much more ruthless than when they trained and selected male soldiers!

Houzi had already prepared the syringe by now, the liquid in the needle glowing with an eerie blue light.

"This is a Nerve Sensitizer." Su Han explained patiently with a smile. "It will amplify your sense of pain, making the next electric shock feel like being cut by a thousand knives."

The female soldiers' faces instantly turned deathly pale.

Number 18, Zhang Meng, suddenly looked up and roared in a hoarse voice, "Bring it on! This old lady wants to see what kind of tricks you can play!"

The corners of Su Han's mouth curled up. "As you wish."

Houzi stepped forward and injected the drug into the female soldiers' veins.

A few seconds later, the drug began to take effect. The female soldiers' pupils dilated slightly, and their breathing became rapid.

"Second round, begin." Su Han ordered.

"Zizizi—"

This time, the pain brought by the electric current was amplified several times over.

Li Xue passed out directly but was quickly splashed awake with cold water.

Number 12, Lin Yu's mental defenses completely collapsed, and she began to mutter nonsense unconsciously.

Although Number 18, Zhang Meng, was still holding on, her eyes were unfocused, and blood seeped from the corners of her mouth—she had bitten her own tongue.

Hallucinations began to appear before Su Qingcheng's eyes. She seemed to see her father standing not far away, reaching out his hand to her.

"Dad..." she muttered unconsciously, tears mixing with sweat as they fell.

After the current stopped, almost all the female soldiers lost consciousness. Only Su Qingcheng barely kept her eyes open, but her gaze had lost its focus.

Su Han walked up to her, leaned over, and asked, "Your name?"

Su Qingcheng's lips trembled as if she wanted to say something, but in the end, she just shook her head.

"Unit designation?"

Still no answer.

Su Han stared at her for a few seconds and suddenly laughed. "Very good."

He straightened up and said to Zhou Mo, "Take them to the Infirmary, inject them with sedatives, give them some nutrition, and let them have a good sleep."

Zhou Mo finally breathed a sigh of relief and immediately called the members of the War Eagle Squad to come forward and carry the female soldiers out.

---

In the Infirmary, the female soldiers were placed on hospital beds, and doctors and nurses were busy treating their wounds and giving them IV fluids.

Zhou Mo stood at the door, looking at the unconscious female soldiers, and couldn't help but say to Su Han, "Chief Instructor, they really made it through."

Su Han's gaze fell on Su Qingcheng, and he said indifferently, "It's not enough."

"Not enough?" Zhou Mo was stunned. "They've already gone through the dark room, hunger, electrocution, Psychotropic Drugs... this is already the limit of limits!"

Su Han shook his head. "The true limit is when they are tortured by the enemy until they lose all hope, yet they can still hold onto the final bottom line."

Zhou Mo was silent for a moment and whispered, "But if this continues, I'm afraid their psychological state will collapse."

Su Han finally turned his head and looked at Zhou Mo. "If they can't even endure training, how can they face a real enemy?"

Zhou Mo was unable to refute.

Su Han patted his shoulder. "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing."

Zhou Mo couldn't help but ask, "What is the final stage?"

Su Han's gaze was deep. "The ultimate interrogation—letting them face the things they fear most in their hearts within a hallucination."

Zhou Mo's heart jolted. "You mean... Hallucinogens?"

Su Han didn't answer; he just turned and left, leaving behind the words: "Let them have a good sleep. Tomorrow will be the real test."
