183: Chapter 182: Army Aviation Special Training, the Shock of Female Soldiers

The wind at Training Ground No. 3 carried the scent of vegetation, swirling across the open space along with the sporadic gunshots from the distant firing range.

Su Han stood before the command platform in the center of the training ground, his gaze sweeping over the neatly lined-up Womens Special Operations Team.

The seven team members carried tactical backpacks, the collars of their combat uniforms already soaked with morning sweat, yet they remained upright, the tension in their eyes gradually being replaced by anticipation.

"Chief Instructor, the auxiliary training personnel of the War Eagle Squad are in position," Zhou Mo's voice came from the side.

Su Han turned his head and saw the members of the War Eagle Squad performing their respective duties—Big Bear was carrying a bundle of rope toward a helicopter ladder, veins bulging on his thick arms;

Bobcat was squatting in front of a parachute simulation device, debugging the equipment as his fingertips moved rapidly across the control panel;

Monkey held a tablet computer displaying dense training parameters, with half a piece of unfinished osmanthus cake dangling from his mouth.

"Shape up, everyone!" Zhou Mo barked. "Don't let the female soldiers make a joke out of us."

Monkey immediately stuffed the pastry into his pocket and stood at attention, but couldn't help winking at Su Qingcheng—the fact that he had been tripped by her clever use of force during the last combat drill was still the laughingstock of the squad.

Su Qingcheng looked straight ahead, but the tips of her ears quietly turned red.

Su Han's gaze fell upon several attack helicopters at the edge of the training ground.

Their fuselages were dark gray, rotors spinning slightly in the morning breeze, and the "August 1st" military emblem on the sides was particularly striking in the sunlight.

Two simulation training cabins were parked nearby, their doors open and instrument panels flickering with cold light.

"Do you know why this place is called Training Ground No. 3?" Su Han's voice wasn't loud, but it reached everyone's ears clearly.

The female soldiers looked at each other, and Lin Yu couldn't help but whisper, "Reporting to the Chief Instructor, looking at the equipment... does it have something to do with helicopters?"

"Not entirely." Su Han walked toward the attack helicopter numbered "07," his palm lightly brushing against the cold fuselage. "This is the Falcon Detachment's Army Aviation Special Operations Comprehensive Training Ground. Helicopter training for conventional units at most involves fast-roping and basic tactical coordination. But here—"

He pointed to a high-altitude parachute tower not far away, its peak hidden in the clouds. "What you will practice is a three-hundred-meter low-altitude fast descent, with an error margin of no more than half a second."

He then pointed to a device shaped like a centrifuge. "Anti-vertigo training, starting from three times the acceleration of gravity and gradually increasing to five. Don't think this is just for pilots; in a real behind-the-lines infiltration, when being pursued by enemy aircraft, if you don't have this level of G-force tolerance, you'll just vomit until you lose your combat effectiveness."

And this. Basic attack helicopter piloting. You don't need to fly it into battle, but you must know the function of every button. In case the pilot is wounded, you must be able to fly the aircraft back to base."

Zhang Meng looked up sharply, a hint of disbelief flashing in her eyes. "Chief Instructor, are we... really going to learn how to fly helicopters?"

As soon as she finished, Li Xue beside her gently tugged at her sleeve—this girl had been prone to motion sickness since she enlisted. During the last drill in a neighboring province, she had vomited so much she nearly threw up bile.

Now, looking at the massive helicopter, her face had already turned somewhat pale.

"Scared?" Monkey leaned in at some point, waving his tablet. "I have the training data for us men from the first three months. The War Eagle Squad's average low-altitude fast descent time is 18.37 seconds. If you can reach 25 seconds within a month, you'll pass."

"25 seconds?" Su Qingcheng frowned. "Fast-roping from three hundred meters in 25 seconds, isn't that too fast?"

"Fast?" Big Bear walked over with the rope on his shoulder and said in a booming voice, "During the last cross-Military Region exercise, Instructor Zhou jumped from five hundred meters and only took 22 seconds. He went straight into a tactical roll upon landing and took out the enemy's headquarters."

Su Han raised his hand to signal for silence. "The helicopters you've seen might just be transport tools. But for special operations members, it is a weapon, a cover, and a mobile tactical platform."

He suddenly pointed to the sky, where a helicopter was flying in from the distance, the roar of its rotors churning the air growing closer. "Watch closely."

Just as he spoke, the helicopter suddenly banked and hovered at an altitude of fifty meters from the ground.

The cabin door opened, and a dark figure slid down the rope, kicking up a cloud of dust upon landing in a perfect tactical crouch.

"It's Staff Officer Chen!" Li Xue whispered.

The dark figure removed his mask, and it was indeed Staff Officer Chen from the detachment's staff office.

He saluted Su Han, his voice coming through the radio: "Chief Instructor, the demonstration subject is ready as per your request."

Su Han nodded. "Begin."

The next second, the helicopter rotors accelerated, the resulting gale making the female soldiers' combat uniforms flap loudly.

Staff Officer Chen grabbed the rope again. With a swing of his body, he climbed back up the rope like an agile ape, returning to the cabin in less than ten seconds.

Immediately after, the helicopter suddenly climbed and dropped a simulated parachute pack from a height of one hundred meters.

Almost simultaneously, Bobcat pressed a button on the simulation training cabin, and the cabin immediately began to rotate, the G-force value on the display jumping instantly to "3G."

"This will be your daily routine for the next half month," Su Han's voice remained clear amidst the roar. "Fast-roping and parachuting in the morning, anti-vertigo and simulation piloting in the afternoon. Extra physical training in the evening, and waking up in the early hours to memorize helicopter parameter tables."

Lin Yu swallowed hard, looking at the still-spinning training cabin, feeling her stomach already beginning to churn. "Chief Instructor, this intensity... isn't it a bit too harsh? We've never even touched this equipment before."

"Harsh?" Su Han turned to look at her, his gaze as sharp as a blade. "In next year's cross-Military Region exercise, your opponents won't show mercy just because you're female soldiers. Their helicopters carry real missiles, not simulation cabins. When you're falling from the sky then, no one will open your parachute for you."

Su Qingcheng stepped forward and saluted. "Reporting to the Chief Instructor! We are not afraid! Please arrange the training!"

The other female soldiers chimed in one after another. Even Li Xue, whose face was pale, clenched her fists and shouted loudly, "Please arrange the training!"

Monkey clicked his tongue in amazement from the side, leaning in to whisper in Zhou Mo's ear, "Captain, these girls are even more fierce than we were when we first joined the squad."

Zhou Mo's lips curled slightly. "After all, they're soldiers trained by Old Su."

Su Han nodded with satisfaction and picked up seven training plans from the command platform. "These are your individual training programs. Su Qingcheng, you have the best physical foundation, so you will focus on low-altitude fast-roping and tactical coordination."

He handed a sheet to Su Qingcheng and then turned to Zhang Meng. "You have enough strength, but lack flexibility. Go practice simulated parachuting with Bobcat first, and add thirty sets of rope ladder climbing every day."

When it was Li Xue's turn, he gave her some extra instructions: "Anti-vertigo is your weakness. From today on, you'll have centrifuge training once every morning and evening, progressing gradually. Monkey will provide you with anti-nausea medicine, but try not to use it if you can—no one will bring you medicine on the battlefield."

Li Xue nodded vigorously. As she took the plan, her fingertips were trembling slightly, but not out of fear.
