55: Chapter 55: An unexpected encounter with the little one at the martial arts school; Great-Grandpa arrives.

In the center of Yuezhou, the bustling commercial district was filled with towering skyscrapers.

Su Han parked his car in the lot of a modern shopping complex and looked up at the eye-catching sign on the building's exterior wall that read "Su Clan Martial Arts Hall," the corners of his mouth curling upward slightly.

"Big Brother's martial arts hall is opened in a place like this; it seems business is doing quite well."

Taking the elevator to the 8th floor, just as he stepped out, a faint scent of sandalwood wafted towards him.

The entire floor had been opened up and renovated in a quaint, traditional martial arts style. At the entrance stood a carved mahogany door, and above the lintel hung a plaque that read "Making Friends Through Martial Arts."

"Hello, sir. Do you have an appointment?" a young girl wearing a training uniform at the front desk asked politely.

Su Han shook his head. "No, I'm just here to take a look."

The girl offered an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry, sir. Our martial arts hall operates on a membership basis, and the spots for new members this year are already full. If you're interested, you can leave your contact information, and we will notify you early next year to participate in the recruitment selection."

Su Han raised an eyebrow. "That strict?"

"Yes," the girl explained. "To ensure the quality of instruction, the hall master stipulates that we only accept 100 new members each year. On the enrollment day at the beginning of this year, all the spots were snatched up in less than an hour."

Su Han couldn't help but look at his Big Brother's management philosophy with newfound respect.

Just as he was hesitating whether to reveal his identity, he suddenly noticed an electronic display screen standing next to the front desk, playing a promotional video for the martial arts hall on a loop.

On screen, Su Wu was instructing students in Su Family Boxing, every move and stance displaying the demeanor of a master.

What surprised Su Han even more was the annual membership fee marked in the bottom right corner of the promotional video—180,000!

"This price..." Su Han couldn't help but click his tongue.

The girl at the front desk seemed to notice his surprise and smiled. "Our membership fee is indeed not cheap, but it is absolutely worth the value. The hall master is a provincial Sanda champion, and the Su Family Boxing he teaches is a legendary martial art. Many of our members are corporate executives and elites from various fields."

Su Han nodded, thinking to himself that his Big Brother had turned the martial arts hall into a high-end club.

"Then can I go inside and take a look around?" Su Han asked. "I have something to discuss with Su Wu."

The girl looked troubled. "May I ask what your relationship is with the hall master? The hall master is currently teaching, so it's not convenient to disturb him..."

"I am his..." Su Han paused, suddenly not knowing how to introduce himself. If he said "Third Grandpa," he figured no one would believe him; if he said "younger brother," the generational rank would be wrong.

Just as he was hesitating, a youthful voice came from inside: "Great-grandfather!"

Xiao Budian was seen wearing a pink training uniform, running out from inside like a little butterfly and diving straight into Su Han's arms.

The girl at the front desk and the surrounding staff were all stunned.

Great-grandfather? What was going on?

Xiao Budian was six or seven years old, while Su Han looked to be only eighteen or nineteen. At this age, he was considered a Great-grandfather?

"I'd heard long ago that there were some outrageous generational gaps in the clans here in Guangdong Province, but I didn't expect it to be this extreme!"

"Yeah! Great-grandfather... tsk tsk, that's a full four-generation gap!"

The girl at the front desk clearly hadn't reacted in time either. Although she knew something about the situation of the Su Family, this was truly the first time she had seen such a massive generational gap!

"Great-grandfather, why are you here!" Xiao Budian looked up with her little face, excitedly tugging at Su Han's hand.

Su Han tapped Xiao Budian on the nose. "Great-grandfather took your Great-aunt to middle school, and stopped by to see you all on the way."

As soon as Su Han said this, the people on the scene were even more dumbfounded!

Xiao Budian was in elementary school. A Great-aunt, only in middle school? This... this generational rank was just too ridiculous!

"Daddy is teaching boxing inside; I'll take you to see!" Xiao Budian said with a giggle.

Su Han smiled and picked up Xiao Budian, nodding at the dumbfounded girl at the front desk. "Can I go in now?"

"O-of course!" The girl hurriedly bowed. "I'm sorry, I didn't know you were..."

Xiao Budian wrapped her arms around Su Han's neck and proudly announced, "This is my Great-grandfather! He's even more amazing than my daddy!"

Amidst the shocked gazes of the crowd, Su Han walked into the interior of the martial arts hall, holding Xiao Budian.

"Xiao Budian, do you usually stay here with your daddy?" Su Han asked.

Xiao Budian nodded. "I study at the elementary school nearby, and I walk back here to rest after school at noon."

"You walk back by yourself?"

"Yeah! Daddy and Mommy are too busy to pick me up. So I just walk back myself."

Su Han was slightly surprised. "Aren't you afraid, Xiao Budian?"

Xiao Budian shook her little head. "Not afraid! Daddy says that those who practice martial arts cannot have fear."

"You must never be afraid; if you are afraid, you will lose for the rest of your life."

Su Han couldn't help but feel moved in his heart. It was no wonder the Su Family had been able to endure for hundreds of years without falling. With this kind of family style and spirit, it would be hard to fall even if they wanted to!

"Xiao Budian is amazing! Great-grandfather is proud of you!"

"Hee hee!!"

After walking through a long corridor, the view suddenly opened up.

The entire training hall was over a thousand square meters, divided into several areas: an equipment area, a sandbag area, a sparring ring area, and the largest training area in the center.

More than twenty students were lined up neatly, following Su Wu to practice the basic moves of Su Family Boxing.

Su Wu had his back to the entrance, his voice resonant. "Pay attention to the force from your waist; the movements must be fluid..."

"Daddy! Look who's here!" Xiao Budian shouted loudly.

Su Wu turned around. When he saw Su Han holding his daughter, he was visibly stunned for a moment, then walked over with big, pleasantly surprised strides. "Third Grandpa! Why are you here?"

This "Third Grandpa" was shouted with full vigor, and the students in the entire training hall stopped what they were doing, all looking over here in unison.

Su Han put down Xiao Budian and smiled. "After dropping off Xiao Nuan at school, I stopped by to take a look. I didn't expect the threshold for your martial arts hall to be so high; I almost couldn't get in."

Su Wu scratched his head sheepishly. "Rules are rigid, but people are flexible. You coming here makes my martial arts hall shine with brilliance!"

He turned around and introduced him to the students. "Everyone, this is my Third Grandpa, the authentic successor of Su Family Boxing!"

The students immediately began to whisper, their eyes filled with curiosity and admiration as they looked at Su Han. After all, this young man in front of them looked younger than many of them, yet he was actually the Hall Master's grandfather generation?
